Chapter 1

---

Leon woke up with a loud yawn. He looked at the clock on the nightstand beside him and noticed it was 6 PM. Hmm, I usually don't wake up this early. Leon thought as he snuggled into his pillow.

The blond couldn't remember the last time he felt so comfortable. His mattress seemed to be softer than usual, and the sheets that covered him warmed his entire naked chest.

Leon decided that he would spend a few more hours in bed. It's not like he had anything to do before he had to go to work anyway.

Just then his cell phone rang.

The blond let out a frustrated groan as he dug into the pockets of the pants and grabbed the annoying device.

"Hello." Leon grunted into the phone.

"Leon, where the hell are you!?" the caller on the phone screamed into the lazy male's ear.

"Good morning to you too, sis."

"Morning? Morning! Morning was seven hours ago. It's night time. You know as in the time when people start to eat dinner, as in the time crappy sitcoms start to come on television, as in the time you were suppose to show up about thirty minutes ago and help the band choose a lead singer."

Leon quickly jumped out of his bed. "What?!"

"Yeah, that's right, sleeping beauty. You were supposed to be at the theater tonight or did you forget?"

"Uh..." was the unintelligent reply Leon gave to his sister.

"If you're not down here in the next five minutes, your ass is grass."

Leon shuddered at the thought of what his sister would do to him if he was even one second late. He hung up the phone and searched his room for a clean shirt to wear.. He finally found a blue one hanging off his computer chair.

Leon put the shirt on and ran to the front door only to stop two inches away from the entrance.

"I almost forgot." Leon ran into his kitchen and grabbed a green notebook sitting on the counter. With that in hand, he left the house.

---

Luckily for Leon, the theater wasn't far away. By car, he could have gotten there in a matter of seconds. However, being that he was a college drop-out who only worked part-time at a rundown bar, he had no other choice but to walk.

After a few minutes, Leon was already half way to his destination. All he had to do next was walk through the long and creepy alleyway that he loathed to cross, and he would be with his band in no time.

"Great." Leon said bitterly as he walked through the dark narrow path. The blond took short and slow steps as he navigated through the alley. Due to the time of day, he could barely see what was in front of him, and he didn't want to trip on a pile of trash or anything else that could be in an alleyway.

Suddenly a noise that sounded like something rustling through a garbage bag echoed throughout the walls. Leon froze. A bunch of images popped into his head at what could have caused that noise. In order not to panic, he told himself if was just a rat or some cat shuffling through some trash.

Another noise echoed throughout the walls, and this time it was the sound of a person coughing. Leon's heart began to race. What if the person was some lunatic hobo, a lunatic hobo who would do anything for some food, even kill?

Leon weighed the odds of him winning a fight against the crazed vagabond, and he quickly realized it would not be an easy one. The bum was probably carrying some kind of weapon like a knife or some old bat he found from a trash bin, not to mention the hobo was probably used to seeing in the dark, which Leon obviously wasn't.

On the other hand, Leon was a decent fighter, despite what his sister thought. He could probably take on the bum, if only he could see.

It was then Leon remembered the small little flashlight hooked on to his keys. His friend, Big Al, gave it to him after he had complained so much about how hard it was to open his apartment door at night. Though the little flashlight wasn't good enough to light a whole alley, it was the only thing Leon had at the moment.

Leon grabbed his keys from out of his pocket and hastily searched the chain for the flashlight. While he searched, he could clearly hear a pair of footsteps coming towards him.

Fear quickly took over Leon's body. He was shaking so hard that when he finally found the flashlight, it slipped from his quivering hands. Damn it. Leon thought as he heard the foot steps getting closer.

Again, Leon searched for the flashlight, and this time when he found it, he made sure to keep a good hold on it. He held the light forward before turning it on and a brief vision of blue appeared in front of him.

Leon let out an ear-splitting scream before backing away from whatever was in front of him. However, his foot slid on a piece of old newspaper laying on the floor, causing him to fall backwards. In his desperate attempt to keep from falling, he grabbed whatever was in front of him and pulled it down as well.

Leon landed with a loud "oof" once his back hit the ground and made an even louder sound when the other person fell on top of him. It took Leon a few moments to realize what had just happen all under a few seconds. He then remembered the lunatic hobo and quickly shined the light in his hand on the body on top of him.

Leon eyes widen in shock. On top of him lay a naked blue-haired man with several scars spread out across his body. The blue-haired man was staring right into Leon's face with a deep sadness in his eyes.

"A-Are you...okay." Leon asked after finding his voice. The man said nothing and continued to stare at Leon.

"Are you hurt? Do you want me to take you to a hospital?" Leon said as he tried to get off the ground. However, he was prevented from doing so once he felt the man on top of him suddenly grab onto his arms.

"Please...don't..." Came the weak reply. Leon looked down at blue haired male's face to see an intense fear in the man's eyes.

"If you do...he'll...get...angry." The man said before passing out.
