A/N: Kind of short, but it's just the start. I just want to see what people think. Please read and review. :)

"Hey" Harry said as he strode down the aisle to site down by his friends, Ron and Hermione. As he made his way towards them all first years had their eyes fixated on him, it wasn't like the attention was new, but it always bothered him a bit. Up until age eleven he had always just been Harry Potter—cousin to Dudley, nephew to Vernon and Petunia—now he was Harry Potter, the boy who lived.

"Hey Harry" she moved down so that there was now room for the raven haired boy to sit. He gently sat down on the bench next to her.

"Took you long enough to get down here," Ron said has mouth overflowing with food, "She was going to send me back upstairs to wake you if you hadn't come down when you did" he finished with a swallow of his food and a gulp of pumpkin juice.

"Someone kept snoring, I couldn't get to bed" he half joked with one of his classic half grins.

"Yeah, Neville does snore sometimes-" Ron said as he continued to pile more and more food into his already full mouth.

"He's talking about you" immediately Ron's face turned bright red and the entire table began laughing.

"Is Harry asleep?" Finally Ginny's concerned voice brought them out of their laughing fit and all eyes quickly went to the boy who was sleeping with his head on the table.

"Harry" Hermione gently shook his shoulder "Harry, wake up," she continued gently nudging him until the boy slowly stirred and lifted his head.

"Sorry" he said as he noticed all of his friends were staring at him. "I'm just really tired." He placed his head on Hermione's shoulder, her bushy brown hair creating a mock pillow for him.

"You're a little warm, you feeling well?" her motherly voiced asked as she noticed his increased body temperature for the first time that day.

"I'm fine" he said not moving his head and continuing to rest upon Hermione's shoulder.

"I think you should go to the Hos-"

"No." Harry shot up. "No, no, no. I'm not going to the Hospital Wing." He sprung to his feet, "See look. I'm fine, really I am" and that was the last thing he was able to say before he past out onto the cold hard floor of the Great Hall.
