When did I begin to smile, hiding everything behind a smiling façade?

Since you ceased to be Yuui, since your life as Fay began…Since you changed your name, to try to erase the past.

If I am Fay, I had never killed him.

So long as I continue to live, Fay would live.

Fay would never have to see Sakura-chan, Syaoran or Kurogane hurt because of me, as long as I continued to hide behind a smiling mask.

Even when I was angry, when I felt negative feelings that were Yuui's not Fay's, I would force a smile onto my face.

…My heart may remember being Yuui, but I refuse to become Yuui.

I am Fay. And Fay is all I'll ever be.

They would never know his past. They would never know his true feelings. They would never know Yuui, only the person they saw, Fay.

They would remember him as Fay, their memories of him all connected to a name that didn't belong to him, tied to a name that wasn't Yuui.

As if Yuui had never existed…
