"You do know that's cheating, right?"

Henry turned around at Mandy's voice behind him. "What is?" he said, trying to sound innocent.

Don't try the innocent act on me, Andrews, I heard you," she retorted. "And that was very definitely a blatant breach of the rules."

"In what way?"

She just raised her eyebrows at him. "I know for a fact that you have all of the next week and a half in the pool."

He shrugged. "And?"

"So your little speech back there about just going for it was clearly an attempt to influence the outcome!"

He held up his hands in defeat. "Okay, so maybe I was, but you can't seriously tell me that you don't want them to just get their act together already. They've been mooning over each other even more than usual the last few days. I thought a push now might actually work."

She tilted her head. "Yes, I want them to just get on with it. But, selfishly, if they could just wait another two weeks…"
