This is what I think could have happened after Patrick Jane collapses, starts of like it is in the episode but then I change it to make it more interesting lol. Hope you enjoy.

Blood Shot

"Jane? Are you alright?" said Van Pelt as she shot Patrick Jane a worried glance.

Jane snapped back into reality

"Yeah, I uh… I'm fine," he said as he slowly got up "I'm fine." he repeated.

Nausea grabbed Jane's mind, his vision blurred. His knees went weak and soon they could not hold his weight at all. He fell to the ground, knocking the wind from his lungs. And then all there was was darkness.

Van Pelt stared at Jane with horror. Her heart began to race. She ran to Jane's side, only to find him unconscious.

"Jane" she said as she shook him "Jane" she repeated as she continued to shake the lifeless Patrick Jane.

"LISBON" she shouted, as she still got no response from Jane. Rigsby ran into the room as soon as he heard Van Pelt shout.

"What happened?" he asked as he stared at Jane on the floor

"I don't know, he just collapsed." She replied, her voice shaky "go get Lisbon"

Rigsby nodded and then headed to Lisbon's office. It didn't take long for Lisbon to get there. She immediately ran to Jane's side. She checked his pulse, temperature, anything she could think of. She then pulled out her cell phone, dialling 911into the keypad.

"I need an ambulance, my friend… he's collapsed" she said, her tone nervous.

Van Pelt looked up at Lisbon, she had never called Jane friend before. She guesses that saying "my colleague has collapsed" would sound a little stupid at a time like this. But it still made her wonder if Lisbon was warming to Jane more and more.

It took the Ambulance five minutes to arrive to the station. Some signs of Jane awakening were beginning to show. Lisbon and Rigsby had moved him to the sofa. Lisbon sat at his side and watched as the paramedics began to work on him.

"Is he going to be ok?" she asked as she watch them anxiously.

"We won't know till we get him to the hospital, but it looks like his concussion has got worse." The paramedic replied as he turned his head to face Lisbon.

Lisbon mentally kicked herself for letting him come into to work. She knew he needed the rest and yet she let him stay.

"This is all my fault." She said as she turned to Van Pelt.

"No its not." She replied as she gave Lisbon a sympathetic look

"I let him work, slowly I let him make it worse."

Van Pelt did not answer; she did not know how to convince her boss that is was not her fault. She didn't even think it was Jane's fault either. She knew that in a way it was his fault for leaving hospital in the first place but she knew he never meant to make it worse. She was surprised at how well Jane's was taking the whole blind thing. He had seemed more distant at times but at the same time he seemed to remain his same cocky self.

"Right we are going to need to get a stretcher in here." Said the Paramedic as he looked once again to Lisbon.

Jane began to open his eyes. His head was killing him and he still couldn't see anything.

"Jane" he heard his name being called out but it seemed distant, like there was a mile of desert between him and the voice. It slowly became clearer and clearer.

"I need so help getting him on the stretcher."

"No you don't need to send me back!" said Jane his voice was slightly croaky.

"You are going back!" said Lisbon her voice was stern

Jane did not disobey, he allowed the Paramedics to pt him on the stretcher. All he had to do was pull his insult trick and he'd be out the next day.
