Trouble is his only friend and he's back again.

Makes his body older than it really is.

Haru dropped to his knees in front of Rin, in between them lying on the damp floor was the small, pain wracked body of the rabbit curse.

He says it's high time he went away,

No one's got much to say in this town.

"Haru." Momiji choked out, reaching up a shaking hand to grab the ox's shirt. "I'm sorry...but I...might have...to go."

Trouble is the only way is down.

Down, down.

Rin tightened her hold on the blood stained knife. "You can come back to me now, he no longer has a hold on you." She glared hatefully at the small boy in Haru's arms.

As strong as you were, tender you go.

I'm watching you breathing for the last time.

The grey eyed teen place a hand on the wound just above his rabbit's heart before looking up at the horse curse. "You spiteful little bitch." He spat, holding Momiji closer to him.

A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,

I know what it means and I'll carry you home.

I'll carry you home.

Rin's eyes darkened as tears began to spill down Hatsuharu's cheeks. "B-but, I thought...if he left then you would..."

If he had wings he would fly away,

And another day God will give him some.

"Go back to you? You stabbed him, because of you I could lose him and you thought that would make me love you?" The Ox's hatred turned into anguish as Momiji whimpered in his arms.

Trouble is the only way is down.

Down, down.

"Haru...I lo..." The larger teen cut him off. "Don't you dare, this is not goodbye, so don't acted like it is." The small blond smiled weakly. "I love you Haru." He whispered.

As strong as you were, tender you go.

I'm watching you breathing for the last time.

Hatsuharu's eyes widened as the usually erratic beating of the rabbit curses heart slowed dramatically. "no, NO!" Momiji closed his eyes as pain flooded through him.

A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,

I know what it means and I'll carry you home.

I'll carry you home.

Haru watched helplessly as Momiji's hand fell from his shirt onto his now still chest. The ox curse shut his eyes tightly hoping that when he opened them his M'iji would be smiling at him and telling him not to worry.

And they were all born pretty in New York City tonight,

And someone's little boy was taken from the world tonight,

Under the Stars and Stripes.

This wasn't how it was supposed to end, not like this, not here. Haru picked his boyfriend off of the cold floor. As he walked towards their house the already slight weight seemed to get lighter and lighter as the curse left the small body.

As strong as you were, tender you go.

I'm watching you breathing for the last time.

People began coming out of their houses as he passed, but Haru could think of nothing but making sure his little rabbit got home.

A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,

I know what it means and I'll carry you home.

When they reached home, Haru placed the now completely lifeless body on their bed. "As strong as you were, tender you go. I'm watching you breathing for the last time. A song for your heart, but when it is quiet, I know what it means and I'll carry you home. I'll carry you home." He sang quietly. "Goodbye my little M'iji."
