Hello everyone!

Well here we are with the last chapter of Konoha High!

A part of me says 'I can't believe it' and another part says 'well you took your damn time Chanel' because even I've got to admit, this has been going on for too long.

Of course my inactivity contributes to this, but hey, 40 chapters is a decent effort.

Never thought I was going to create a story this long with over 100,000 words! Unbelievable!

I have always wanted to write, but wasn't sure how popular or good it will be, so this experience has really boosted my self confidence.

I have the community and readers to thank for that (you guys!)

Also looking back on my first chapter, then comparing it with my latest one, gives me some perspective on how much I have grown and I can't help but want to hurt myself and edit the first few chapters of horror. I stop myself every time though because I shouldn't do that haha.

It would be interesting to see how I would rewrite it though...

Thank you to those who reviewed: Kanzaki Aiko, Shigure Toshiro, animedude16, Mockgirl, wanonymous, Gonz2016, Guest, I PREDICT iwilldieinahole (with many variations in name haha you are cute), Aira, Pahreza, Guest.

Couldn't have done it without you guys! . .

You are my motivation to keep going :)

Well here we are finally at the finish line~

Recap:

Temari moved back to Suna Private and somehow managed to gain a peaceful school life.

To her surprise, Shikamaru enrolled to Suna Private himself.

Now what will the future hold for them...

"Oi, Sakura, you awake yet?" Ino barked as she knocked loudly on Sakura's door.

Sakura finished tying her headband, "Yeah, you can come in."

Ino, Hinata and Tenten entered the room, "Good because I was gonna tell you off if you weren't" Tenten commented.

"G-Good morning Sakura..." Hinata greeted.

"Geez, I could barely sleep last night due to the excitement where I wasn't sure if I would wake up early because I was so excited, or completely sleep in because I barely got any sleep" Sakura groaned.

"Same" Ino agreed nodding.

"Well of course, today is FINALLY the day!" Tenten grinned.

"She texted me a few minutes ago that she's not far now..." Hinata mentioned.

"Well, we should get a move on then." Sakura then walked out of her room while the others followed.

As they walked out of her house, Ino spoke again, "But honestly, aren't those two absolutely crazy?"

"It all seems a bit rushed doesn't it?" Tenten showed a face of concern.

"Well I asked her about it, but she said she just wanted to get it all over and done with at once." Sakura slanted her lips.

"That's so typical of her really..." Ino slumped her shoulders forward.

"And of course he wouldn't really care." Tenten shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, trust her to pull it off though. I certainly couldn't." Hinata murmured.

"That's true! She is super organised with these sort of things." Sakura spoke proudly.

"We'll have plenty of time to talk about it later! Anyway, I'm so excited to see them again!" Ino exclaimed.

"It feels like ages since we've seen her!" Tenten agreed.

"To be fair, we did see her a few months ago when they visited us." Sakura added.

"Yeah, well, she's taking her sweet damn time! It's been six years since we've graduated! They both should have come running back as soon as they could." Ino huffed.

"I guess it couldn't be helped...Shikamaru got a really good job offer, and Temari had family issues to take care of." Sakura shrugged.

"Who honestly even follows the old fashioned ranking system where an 'heir' is needed..." Tenten commented.

"But I was really excited when I heard Shikamaru was going to try and move to Suna all those years ago!" Hinata suddenly spoke out of excitement.

"I was in complete shock as well! That lazy ass worked for the first time in his life!" Ino agreed.

"I was really worried for them both since Shikamaru couldn't even tell Temari what was happening and had to just suddenly ignore her. Then when we were on that call with her and she wanted answers and her face was so distressed...GAHH there were so many times I was going to spill the beans to her..." Sakura scrunched up her face.

"Well thank god it all worked out in the end!" Ino sighed in relief.

"Apparently she didn't beat him up that badly when he randomly showed up at Suna" Tenten giggled.

"I wish I was there to watch their reunion. Sounded like a good drama show moment." Sakura smiled.

"Until she punched him in the gut…"

"I was going to follow him secretly and record the whole thing, but he thought ahead and reported me to my parents about my poor marks. Man, did my father lecture me that night, then I was grounded until my marks improved." Ino sobbed.

The girls laughed.

"Those were good times. I feel so grown up now every time I look back. Imagine getting grounded now!" Tenten exclaimed.

"We don't even live with our parents anymore. Chouji wouldn't dare do that to me." Ino crossed her arms.

"K-Kiba is too nice to do that..." Hinata shyly added.

"Neji is actually pretty strict about tidiness that it's kinda weird..."

"Wish Lee could learn a thing or two from Neji..." Sakura sighed.

"Oh they're here!" Ino yelled out excitedly.

A limousine and a moving truck following behind it pulled up in front of them.

The driver got out and opened the door for Temari to get out.

Shikamaru got out by himself on the other side.

"TEMARI!" the girls exclaimed and jumped on her before the driver even had a chance to close the door.

"O-Oww..." Temari winced at the sudden impact.

"We've missed you so much!" Sakura cried out.

"Why didn't you come back any sooner?!" Ino whined.

"O-Ok...can't breathe..." Temari struggled.

"Ey! Shikamaru! Temari!" familar voices cried out.

Everyone looked to see all of the guys walking towards them.

"You're late!" Ino complained.

"Sorry Ino." Chouji apologised.

"Hey." Shikamaru said generically to everyone.

"You girls have the key right?" Temari asked.

"Of course!" Tenten handed her the key.

"W-We cleaned up your new house for you...if that's ok." Hinata mentioned.

"Of course! You girls didn't need to do that for us!" Temari smiled.

"Well we didn't want to waste anymore time trying to get you moved into your home! We have catching up to do...not to mention we have so much to prepare for!" Sakura explained.

Ino put her hands on her hips, "You guys are crazy you know! Couldn't you just wait a bit and give a bit more time for this. Two big moves in practically one week is nuts!"

"Eh, wanted to get it all over and done with at once..." Shikamaru shrugged.

"Honestly. I haven't seen you in a few years and you still haven't fixed that attitude." Ino huffed.

"Are you okay with this...?" Hinata asked Temari.

"Of course. I agree with Shikamaru. Plus, I didn't come and visit here multiple times for no reason." Temari shrugged.

"You guys say we haven't seen you in years, but we have been here visiting multiple times a year." Shikamaru sighed.

"It felt like ages though okay?" Ino huffed again.

"Ok, ok, enough of this now. Good to see you both finally home. Let's get started." Chouji smiled.

The guys all shook hands with each other grinning then went to help carry boxes from the truck to the house.

"Oi! Temari! Which one is your bedroom to put your clothes there?!" Naruto yelled out to her.

"Upstairs, the very last room at the end of the hall." Temari yelled back.

Naruto started walking into the wrong room.

"She meant this one Dobe." Sasuke hit Naruto on the head playfully pointing to the correct room.

"Oh, right." Naruto walked to the correct room.

"You still do this at home somehow..." Sasuke sighed.

Shikamaru started placing plates in the cupboards of the kitchen.

"You can't be serious Shikamaru. Leave the dishes to me, you do the crockery." Neji took the plates and placed them somewhere else.

Shikamaru gave him a weird look, but then did as told.

"Wow Neji, you're really good at sorting out these kind of things." Temari commented impressed.

"You have NO idea..." Tenten grimaced.

"What was that Tenten?" Neji questioned.

"Nothing~" Tenten cooed.

"Lee! Be careful with the furniture!" Sakura yelled as she watched Lee running around carrying furniture with one hand.

The day went by in a flash as everyone sorted out the furniture and boxes.

Eventually the early morning turned into night and everyone went out for dinner at Ichiraku Ramen laughing and catching up on the years that somehow flew by while Shikamaru and Temari were away.

"Ah, did you know that Kakashi is now the Principal of Konoha High?" Kiba asked.

"What? That teacher who was always late is now the Principal of the school?" Temari raised an eyebrow.

"Yep, Tsunade has now retired and passed on the role to Kakashi. Apparently it was the school board's suggestion." Tenten shrugged.

"Was that a wise decision?" Temari questioned.

"To be honest, apparently it's working out just fine." Sakura mentioned.

"How's Gaara and Kankurou?" Naruto butted in.

"They're good. Kankurou is going to start his own company making robots and other mechanical geeky things; whereas Gaara is being prepped up to be the next company owner." Temari explained.

"That must be tough for him..." Chouji commented.

"I'm also kind of envious of him." Sasuke muttered.

"That's because you're power hungry Sasuke." Kiba remarked.

"I'm jealous too!" Naruto added in.

"And you're just blindly ambitious..." Kiba sighed.

"I'm just glad he was willing to take the job. That was the main reason why it was so hard to get back to Konoha; because there was an expectation of me being the next heir." Temari sighed in relief.

"Did you just manage to sort this out the start of this year or something?" Ino asked.

"Ah well not exactly. Gaara pretty much decided when he graduated."

"Wait, didn't he graduate only a year after us? That was still a while away!" Kiba questioned.

"Yeah, but Temari was worried that Gaara was only volunteering for her sake, so we stayed just in case he changed his mind and to see if he really wanted to do this for himself." Shikamaru explained.

"Such a kind sister." Hinata smiled.

"That and Shikamaru got a great job opportunity right at graduation; so we decided to stay a bit longer for that as well." Temari added.

"Oh yeah, so what happened to that job now that you're here." Naruto asked.

"Ah, I'm still working with them, but now over here at the Konoha branch." Shikamaru answered.

"Couldn't you just move here from the beginning?!" Ino frowned.

"Not really. They didn't have a Konoha branch when I joined. Well to explain it clearly, I'm the first member of the Konoha branch and will be the one to start and lead it in a couple of weeks. Also another reason for the rush..." Shikamaru expanded.

"Wait a minute, so you're saying, you managed to get a job right off the bat, move up the ranks enough to get a decision passed to create a whole new branch for the company in a completely new area...?" Kiba widened his eyes.

Shikamaru gave a blank look, "Pretty much."

Everyone's face went deadpan except for Temari's.

"I can never keep up with this one..." Kiba sighed.

"Makes you kind of feel like you've done nothing in the time after high school huh?" Tenten scratched the back of her head.

They all continued to drown themselves in laughter and warm chatter until it was closing time. Then they all returned home.

Shikamaru and Temari finally reached home feeling absolutely exhausted. Almost everything was sorted and done and all furniture was in place. All that was left was to unpack small personal belongings, such as clothes.

However, they were just too exhausted to do anything and so they fished out their pyjamas from some cardboard boxes, got changed, located their toiletries, cleaned up and laid in bed.

They both looked at each other and smiled.

"Well, here we are. Finally returned home." Temari spoke first keeping the smile on her face.

Shikamaru grinned, "Suna is pretty nice, but Konoha just seems…warmer."

"Ironically since Suna is constantly boiling-degrees" Temari laughed lightly.

Shikamaru reached out and moved her fringe away from her eyes, "Well, not long now is it?"

Temari flushed a little, "Yeah, maybe we were kind of rushed."

"Possibly; but then again, 7 years."

Temari grinned, "Time just flew being with you." She replied sarcastically.

Shikamaru grinned and then closed his eyes, starting to fall asleep.

Temari watched him starting to snooze. It was always like this. She would watch him fall asleep every night and start thinking to herself about her life.

When did it start to become a norm to watch Shikamaru fall asleep?

To be lying here next to him every night and wake up every morning to see his face.

Everyone has already grown up and even she could see that she was also growing up too.

Sakura is now a full-fledged doctor working at a top tier hospital.

Ino is actually putting her head down and working on succeeding the business, or at least a branch of it if her father decides to keep leading and she bears an heir before he retires.

Tenten won a national title in mixed martial arts and now owns and runs her own martial arts studio.

Hinata and Neji are leading their own branches within the huge Hyuuga company.

Lee is a professional soccer player, and very popular too.

Chouji is a famous food critic and helps out Ino with the business.

Kiba is now teaching at Konoha High.

Naruto is somehow working his way up in the politics hierarchy and will soon be nominated to be the next to run for president.

Sasuke is helping him out in the background and being the 'brains' of the whole operation, taking care of all the boring, dirty work.

Everyone is slowly, but surely leading their own paths into their future.

With this thought, she fell asleep.

A few days passed by and Temari and the girls met up and rushed around the place trying to organise everything in time.

Shikamaru and the guys weren't able to relax either.

Finally, the night before the big day, she slept over at Ino's mansion with the rest of the girls and watched them staring intensely at the kilometre long checklist, scrutinising it twenty times over. Sometimes they'll stop at a checkpoint and their faces will express horror, then after a pause it relaxes and they sigh and keep moving on. Finally when they were satisfied, Temari was allowed to go to bed.

After a very long speech about what tomorrow entailed.

Temari has been through many hectic moments in her life.

The time when her mother was pregnant with her younger siblings.

Or when Gaara was beating up a kid around his age during his…difficult phase.

Or the time she had to convince her father that she wasn't suitable to take over the business.

And that Shikamaru was indeed a suitable partner for her.

And to let her return to Konoha to live there for the rest of her life.

But nothing was even as close to hectic as today.

To be honest, she had it fairly easy. She woke up to a very beautiful breakfast in bed that the girls…well Ino's best chefs prepared.

They then went to a relaxing spa and got pampered up for the ceremony. The dress fit perfectly because apparently the stress sometimes makes you slim down a bit more than usual and the dress would sometimes not fit properly; luckily this did not happen.

Although, Temari had an onsite tailor to take care of that just in case. Not to mention a personal hairdresser to follow her around to make sure not a hair moved out of place.

What was stressful was watching the girls flustering around trying to make sure that everything was going perfectly and to plan so that Temari wouldn't freak out. Though by doing so, it was making Temari stressed…but she didn't dare to tell them that.

Temari spoke out for a bit saying that they were running ahead of schedule and that they should relax a bit so that they could also look pretty for the day.

The girls quickly told her that she was being ridiculous. Anything could happen to set them back, so they can't relax just because things just happen to be running quite smoothly. Not to mention that it was Temari's big day, not theirs, they couldn't care less if they didn't look quite up to scratch.

Temari stepped back a bit, but still quickly said that she wouldn't want them to have makeup running down their faces due to sweat.

At that comment, the girls calmed down a bit and stopped flustering for no reason.

After Temari was all done up in her dress with her makeup and hair taken care of. The girls finally stopped for a moment to stop and stare at her. They all gave out their 'awws' and 'ahhs' and many compliments.

Temari couldn't help feeling a bit embarrassed at all of the attention; but she did have a look in the mirror and felt very happy.

Her heart rate suddenly sped up and she even felt a couple of butterflies in her stomach. It was an unusual feeling, but it wasn't necessarily bad.

Finally it was time.

They arrived at the ceremony in a limousine.

Her brothers were the ones to walk her down the aisle. She could already feel a bit embarrassed at the thought of both of her arms being linked on either side to her brothers and walking down the aisle like little kids, but they couldn't come to an agreement; so she settled on having them both do it.

It ended up being a beautiful day for a wedding.

There was a light shower in the very early morning, but the bright sun had already evaporated all of the raindrops and now it was pleasantly warm.

When she got out of the limousine, to her surprise, she saw her father at the front doors.

"Dad…" She quietly murmured, finding the sight surreal.

He bent his arm, beckoning for her to take it.

She slowly walked over and did so.

Her brothers were standing next to them. They grinned and quietly entered the building to take a seat instead.

They were no longer needed.

She felt a bit nervous, but slowly looked up at her father.

He didn't look at her, but he quietly said, "you look beautiful".

This almost made her want to cry, but she held it back because she didn't trust how waterproof her makeup was.

"It's not even the ceremony yet and I already feel like crying…" Sakura commented fanning her face with her hands.

Temari heard Tenten give out a 'go' message on her phone.

Suddenly the music started playing from inside the building.

The two large doors open and the girls filed out with their respective partners down the aisle first.

Then Kurenai and Asuma's daughter Mirai entered next holding the rings.

Naruto followed quietly behind her making himself as small as possible and threw some flower petals along the way. Mirai wanted to be both the ring bearer and flower girl, but she wasn't able to carry out both tasks, so Naruto suggested to be her shadow and took on the task of the flower girl.

After they made their way down, Sasuke gave Temari the signal to go.

Thus, Temari and her father began to walk down the aisle.

Everyone stood up as soon as she entered the scene.

Temari was given the title 'Ice Queen' back in high school, but she truly felt like a queen at this moment.

She saw Shikamaru standing at the very end with everyone else standing beside him on either side.

She felt something catch in her throat as her heart rate rose again, she decided to focus on the empty space she was meant to fill between Shikamaru and her girlfriends just to make sure she doesn't end up tripping herself.

When she finally reached the end of what seemed like the longest walk she has ever been on, the father unlinked his arm and looked at her with the softest expression she has ever seen him make for a long time.

He quietly said to her, "Your mother would have been so proud."

Temari again could feel tears starting to well up, but she used all of her strength to force them back down again and nodded back at her father with a bright smile on her face.

The father then looked over to Shikamaru and gave the softest, stern look he has ever given and nodded at him.

Shikamaru quietly nodded back and then the father went to go sit down.

Shikamaru lent her a hand to step up so she could stand with the rest of them.

The Officiant began to speak.

Temari held onto her bouquet quite tightly while looking into Shikamaru's eyes as he stood across her.

The words of the ceremony slowly started to drown out as she got lost in her moment while staring into Shikamaru's eyes.

This was actually happening.

She snapped out of her world when she heard the verse that signalled it was time for the vows.

She quickly gave her bouquet to Sakura, who was standing next to her, and held Shikamaru's hands; giving him direct eye contact.

He was to speak first.

Temari,

From the very first time I met you, I knew you were different. When our paths just happened to cross exactly eight years ago and you spoke to me for the first time, I bashfully admit that it caught me off guard. I tried to cover up my thoughts by talking to you in an unenthusiastic tone, and you were not impressed…and made sure to let me know you weren't impressed.

He grinned at this point and a couple of giggles escaped from the audience.

Little did I know that you were going to enter my life again. I always wondered if you were going to stay or not as our conversations blended in with the rest of the group; and when it seemed like you were going to stay beside me for a little longer…it made me happy. You showed me many moments of strength and intelligence that I saw in no other; but it was your times of kindness and surprising weakness that left me breathless.

Shikamaru cleared his throat as his face started to turn a deep red.

I admit we have been through many, rather troublesome events together. Events that are mostly unusual that one would never expect to happen; but I treasure even those moments because you were with me. We even had moments that you would typically see in a movie, I don't know who is pulling the strings behinds us, but they sure have a wild imagination. I may be a genius, but you always beat me to the chase. I remembering preparing about 200 different strategies in my head on how to confess to you and thought up thousands of different scenarios; yet somehow, you were the one to speak of your feelings first. When we started dating, you showed me many different sides of you and I couldn't help but think that they were all beautiful. Your smile is the absolute weapon that defeats me every time.

Shikamaru took another breath and his face turned rather serious.

That day when I thought I lost you, my world literally crumbled in seconds. I felt like I fell into a void of nothingness and could no longer feel anything. At that moment, my memory of your smile saved me and I knew I had to do everything in my power to have you back by my side. That was the very first time I have worked hard for anything. I was prepared to leave everything behind and push myself to the absolute limit, as long as it meant I could return to you. When I look back now, I realise you have brought out many different sides of myself that I didn't know existed. I've felt a wider range of emotions when I'm with you for a few minutes, compared to the rest of my life where you didn't exist. You have made me a better person. You bring out the better side of me. I love you Subaku no Temari and I love you more every second of the day.

With that Shikamaru finished. The room was silent, but the air was pleasant.

The Officiant then spoke again signalling it was Temari's turn for her vows.

She already felt like she could barely breathe after Shikamaru's speech; but she again found her inner strength and began to speak.

Shikamaru,

I also start my vows with the day we first met. That very moment is still clear in my mind and every time I close my eyes, that scene replays in my head. It's funny because it's not the most romantic encounter; but it was very special to me. When I spoke my mind like I usually do, you were the first person to actually take a step towards me; rather than a step back. I worried when we happened to meet again that you would turn away at the sight of me, but again you proved me wrong and continued to advance closer to me. You puzzle and confuse me more than anything and you literally make my mind a mess. It was probably the first time that my heart decided it wanted a say and fought my head for its rights it never had been given.

Temari paused for a moment as a tear started to fall down her cheek.

You were right when you say we have been through many bizarre moments. My life started to have colour ever since you've entered my life with our wonderful friends. I'm scared to know what kind of person I would have become if I had never met you. I was stubborn until the end. I didn't want to give in. I was scared to soften as my hard exterior has protected me from my life; however you broke that shell quickly. You made me feel safe and allowed me to lower my guard. You made me realise that the front I put on may keep the bad things away from me, but also pushed away the good. You protected me from the many horrible things that life decided to throw at me and allowed me to bathe in the light of the good. It was the first time I really felt like I smiled from the very bottom of my heart, because I was literally having the best time of my life.

Another tear fell down her face.

I remember the first time I thought I had lost you. Life literally threw its worst at me and you took it for me instead. I honestly didn't know what to feel. I almost wanted to punch you and rewind time so I could rightfully take it instead of you. You make me feel like I deserve the treatment you give me, but I don't think I do. There are many times I think that you are too good for me. That I did nothing to deserve the luxuries been given by you. I was still afraid that I would break you. But when you came back to me, I knew I could no longer handle life without you. I came to a new solution that I was to work on becoming someone who deserved you, to become someone who is not only protected, but also protecting the person they love most. You made me the better person that I am today.

Tears continued to fall again, Temari could no longer stop them. She instead worked towards making her words clear, rather than a bubbling mess.

When I felt that I had lost you again. The colour in my world immediately started to wash away. At the time, life was actually better than what I had initially expected. Even so, it was still dull, and painful. I had no energy and felt like I was sitting in front of a TV watching life pass me as I stood still. Then again you appeared before me, as inviting as ever and colour rushed back into the picture in an instant. My once cloudy mind cleared and I couldn't see anything but you. You make my life worth living. You improve every part of me. I understood at that moment I literally cannot live without you. I may still be alive carrying on with life, but I cannot live without you next to me. The amount of dependence I have on you is scary, absolutely frightening; but I'm glad it is with you. I love you Shikamaru Nara. I must have used up every bit of good karma and luck in my life in order to have met you. I've never felt more excited, more ready to start a new chapter of my life than this moment. I am ready to stay by your side until the end of time. Thank you Shikamaru Nara, thank you.

With that, Temari's speech ended; and surprisingly her tears ended too.

She could see Shikamaru's eyes were a bit watery, but no tears fell.

At that moment she want to be embraced and bury herself in his chest and hide from the rest of the world.

Unfortunately the ceremony did not allow this yet as it must go on in its order.

Finally, it was time for Mirai to bring the rings.

"Shikamaru Nara, do you take Subaku no Temari, as your lawfully wedded wife? Will you love, honour, comfort, and cherish her from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto her for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

Shikamaru slipped the wedding ring on Temari.

"Subaku no Temari, do you take Shikamaru Nara, as your lawfully wedded husband? Will you love, honour, comfort, and cherish her from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto her for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do"

Temari slipped the wedding ring on Shikamaru.

"You may now kiss the bride."

They gave each other a polite kiss as the audience started to applaud and cheer.

They then hugged each other and quickly whispered sweet nothings before they walked back down the aisle; hand-in-hand.

A couple of years later:

Shikamaru laid his eyes on the most beautiful sight he had ever seen in his life. He saw his wife Temari holding their newborn baby so gently in her arms, giving the newborn the warmest smile he has ever seen.

And he has seen many.

She beckoned Shikamaru to hold the newborn.

Shikamaru took the newborn in his arms.

Gaara and Kankurou took this opportunity to attack Temari with their love with tears streamed down their face, as well as Temari's.

Shikamaru smiled at them thinking how they really looked like a close-knit family.

He looked down at his newborn child.

As much as the baby looked like Shikamaru, he definitely possessed his mother's beautiful, large, teal eyes.

Shikamaru then started to feel tears well up in his eyes.

"Welcome to the world, Shikadai."

Omake:

"Temari, why is your face swollen and red…?" Shikamaru asked as he saw his now wife exit the bathroom.

"I will no longer question the power of waterproof make up…"

AHHHH IT'S DONE!

IT'S ACTUALLY DONE! OMG!

Well here we are folks. Konoha High has actually ended.

I hope the ending gave you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. That was my intention so I hoped I delivered.

I again apologise for such the long delay. Life got hectic, etc. etc.

I also had to think hard for those vows. I wanted them to be warm, but not so fluffy that you spew and it becomes OOC. I wanted to try to imagine how they would give their vows. Of course it would still be the fluffiest they'll ever been since it's THE BIG DAY; but I know they have their limits too.

I really want to thank you all for sticking with me for so long! You've made it!

It's actually a bit ridiculous that the actual Naruto series has ended before I did!

I would love to share my thoughts…but argh! I know some of you may not have read the ending yet.

You must though. The ending is a must.

By the way, I highly recommend READING THE HIDEN NOVELS.

The Hiden novels are short novels written for certain characters. Kishimoto didn't actually write them himself, but people in his team did and he gave the general plot and monitored and gave approval to it, so it is still canon!

They fill up a bit of a time gap between the last two chapters of the manga, so don't read them until you've finished the series.

Many times Kishimoto has repeated he can't/doesn't like to do romance…so instead he kind of got others to do it for him, but he lead it as to how he wanted things to happen. He is just a bit shy writing fluff haha.

Anyway, there is a Shikamaru Hiden and Gaara Hiden and you must read it as ShikaTema is actually in it for real~ And it's legit, not the fanfiction fantasy world.

A chapter of Konoha Hiden too.

You can find them translated on Tumblr by someone named: cacatuasulphureacitrinocristata.

Google that, and you'll find her. Or at least google 'translated Shikamaru/Gaara Hiden'.

Anyway, thank you again for following my very long series.

It's unbelievable how long it actually went for, but now I wouldn't have it any other way.

I probably won't be writing fanfiction anymore, or at least for a long time as I have life to get on with and I also want to start writing originals.

I have actually started writing originals, so I'll be sure to keep you guys posted if anything happens (if you care enough haha).

I might do a one shot here and there in honour of ShikaTema, but no more series haha.

Thank you for being on this journey with me. I know a few f you have been with me very much from Chapter 1 and i promised I would finish and I did! But i wouldn't have done it without all of you avid readers~

Answering some questions: Yes, you are allow to draw a manga/doujin of KH. Just let me know because I would LOVE to see it (and mention me somewhere ey? ;) )
Yes I will/did finish haha
Sorry I did kind of hide under a rock and didn't come out for a while.
I love you all, please don't kill me haha

I will still be here to answer any questions you may have for me. I feel like doing an 'Ask ShikaTema' thing where I answer any questions you may have for Shikamaru or Temari as Shikamaru or Temari.

Not sure if anyone would be interested in that; but if you guys are, let me know and I'll start a Tumblr about it.

Much love, live life to the fullest, and thank you all for your ongoing support.

I've read all 1010 reviews and it brought me energy to finally write this ending. They do not go to waste, I do actually read them.

Thank you for the 1000000000 time.

Chanel~
