Poke.

"Stop that."

Poke. Poke.

"Please stop that."

Poke. Poke. Poke.

"PLEASE STOP THAT, RAITO-KUN." L yelled, glaring at the brunet next to him. Said boy just smiled, his eyes scrunching shut. 'Ah….cute….' L blushed, but shook the thoughts away.

Light apparently found the detective randomly shaking his head very entertaining, so he poked the man again, sticking his tongue out playfully.

"……Are you drunk, Raito-kun?"

"No."

"Are you using drugs?"

"Nope."

L frowned. "Maybe you should go to sleep. Lack of sleep can make you delirious."

Light just giggled, surprising the insomniac. "Sleep sleep sleep." He chanted as L stood, and Light followed the action, only to fall over into the older man's arms. He yawned loudly, his eyes half-closed. He suddenly lost his cheerful aura and found himself almost asleep.

L sighed, picking the teen up bridal-style and carrying him to the bedroom they shared down the hall. Light had already fallen fast asleep in his arms, so he just set him down on the bed and pulled the blankets up over him.

The boy mumbled something that L couldn't understand, but sounded like, "Stop the flying panda bears, 'Zaki…." and then random babbling about the rabid ice cream machine and the fish celery.

L nearly burst out laughing, but instead smiled softly as he curled up in his usual position next to his suspect.

"Good night, Raito-kun." He leaned over the boy, softly kissing his cheek. "Sweet dreams."
