There are holes worn in his skin where he has been stitched up so many times. Like he's a patchwork doll that tears so easily, breaking without hesitation. Sam pulls the needle through, watching Dean. He hasn't woken up, except to murmur fevered dreams.

Sam wonders how they went so long without noticing the growing infection, how his brother hid the bleeding.

Dean had been captured for to long by the Succubus. Sam knew something had happened. The hip wound he's sewing speaks volumes.

Dean twitches, "…stop…touching…"

Sam knots the string, sighing. Few scars truly heal when infected with memories.
