A short thing for acrazyidea. Oh, me and my wacky ideas…

At this point, the play had settled into monotony, actors' voices punctuated by dry yawns from all across the theater. Somehow the script had managed to make the even the more interesting fight scenes seem dull, even to the very people who'd actually fought in them.

So no one was expecting the scream of horror in Act II, Scene 17, when Azula attacked the Earth King.

"BOSCO!!!"

In approximately half a second, the entire audience had moved: to the edge of their seats, into each others' laps, into each others' hidden snacks and beverages, and in a few cases, onto the floor.

"Sokka! My hair smells like fireflakes!" Toph shook her head, spraying the rest of them with crumbs. Suki would have normally brushed them off, but both of her hands were busy cutting off the blood flow to Sokka's upper arm. Sokka himself was frozen in the pose he had taken when the snack had flown out of his hands. Toph would have laughed at him for this, but on account of the wooden floor she hardly noticed anyone's ridiculous positions, only the synonymous jump that had just shaken the floorboards.

"Ugh, Katara, where the lady's room?" Toph waved her hand to the left, where her friend had just been sitting, but felt the air of an empty seat. "Katara?"

"She's over here." Toph gave the floor a good stomp in order to make out other the shapes on the bench. Aang's voice had cracked, because Katara's arms were fastened tightly around his neck. Toph also took note that the two weren't taking up much seating room.

"Is she okay?" Aang didn't need to turn his head much to investigate this.

"Yeah, I think she just needs to…breathe." Silently taking the advice, Katara exhaled shakily, breath brushing against Aang's cheek. Another skim of the floor told Toph that their heart rates had picked up again. She rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, I'll just ask Zuko."

Weird, she thought, How come Sugar Queen didn't end up in his lap? After all, he was sitting closer.

"…Zuko?"

A trembling hand waved from under the bench.
