For the little girls who cried,

When Christopher Robin left for school,

For all the little boys,

Who loved to bounce like Tigger.

For all the adults,

Who sat with their child to watch Winnie-the-Pooh,

And all the small children,

Who sat on their laps.

For all the teenagers,

Who laugh at Winnie-the-Pooh,

And say he's silly and childish,

But still took the time to read this poem.

But mostly for everyone,

Who loved this childhood friend,

Who read the books,

And has the whole set,

With matching covers,

And reads them all the time,

So as not to forgot,

That even though A. A. Milne has left us,

And Walt Disney is no longer here to watch over the show,

Pooh is always with us,

In the special place,

Doing nothing,

And remembering Christopher Robin,

There with him,

Doing nothing too.
