Jacob's POV

I was leaning against the wall, while Nessie sat on the floor. We watched as Lilliana ran around the room stacking books, blocks, and stuffed animals. This kid was weird.

"What exactly are you doing again?" I scratched the back of my head.

"We're playing Godzilla. But first you have to build the city." Lilliana gave me a look that made me feel a little inferior than her, intelligence wise.

"Are we gonna take turns destroying the 'city'?" Nessie tried to comprehend her new friend too.

"Sort of." Lilliana grabbed a giant wold that I had given her as a birthday present and placed it on a pile of pillows. When she was done, it actually looked like a miniature city; you know, except built with a child's toys.

I had no idea how the hell she did it.

"So then how does this work?" Nessie sat up and admired the 'city'.

"Both of us will stand on opposite sides of the city. We will be blind folded and aim rolled up socks at the buildings," she used a piece of string to divide the city, "That is my side and this is yours. You have to try and knock down the buildings on my side of the city before I knock all of yours. But first we have to spin around for thirty seconds. I'll even add some sound to make it harder."

I watched Lilliana pull off a necklace and walk around the room touching the walls, furniture, and even me with the pink rock. My arm—where she had touched me—began to glow, then started to make a humming noise. The whole room was filled with humming noises.

"What's with the humming?" I studied my arm, hoping it wouldn't all of a sudden fall off.

"We'll be dizzy from spinning around and the sound will only make it more challenging by adding to the confusion." Lilliana rocked back-and-forth on her heels. I thought she said this game was gonna be easy. Nessie, however, didn't see at all intimidated.

"Who taught you this game?" asked Nessie.

"I made it up one day; made Jose play with me." smirked Lilliana.

Nessie pulled out two handkerchiefs from her dresser and handed one to Lilliana. With both girls blindfolded on opposite ends of the toy city and a their ammo—a pile of rolled up socks—at their sides, they were almost ready to begin.

"Ready? Okay spin." I counted off to 30, while Lilliana and Nessie's giggles got louder the dizzier they got. At the 30 second mark they stopped and began firing. I had to dodge some socks, but got hit in the face a few times.

In the end my Nessie had won. Luckily, Lilliana wasn't a sore loser. She asked me to play, but I knew I'd probably end up breaking something or hurting one of them with my werewolf strength. The room was a mess after 3 rounds of 'Godzilla'. The girls threw themselves on the bed in exhaustion.

"So Ness, why is your bed so huge?" Lilliana rolled on her back, clutching a nearby stuffed giraffe.

"Sometimes my mom and dad let Jacob stay the night for a sleepover. He mostly sleeps in his wolf form."

Lilliana's face scrunched in confusion. I suddenly realized that we had never really told Lilliana that I was a werewolf. Then again, I barely had enough time to learn what little the rest of the family had learned about her.

"Are you house trained?" Lilliana asked with a serious face. I wasn't sure to be offended or laugh at her. I chose the second one; which she still didn't appreciate.

"I'm not a dog. I'm more human the wolf anyways." I said.

"Sure, and that's why you can drool more than humanly possible when you stare at food." I looked up and saw Bella leaning against the door. I stuck my tongue out childishly. Bella ignored my antics and glanced around the room at the mess. Nessie shrunk back, getting ready to be scolded for the mess.

"Sorry for the room Mrs. Edwards' wife. It was my idea to play Godzilla." apologized Lilliana. Bella raised her eyebrow at the silly name.

"How would you like to stay for a sleepover tonight?" Bella smiled at Liliana. Nessie's face lit up.

"Can Jake stay too? And can we make s'mores? And maybe even watch a scary movie?" Nessie shot out request after request.

"Yes on the first two, but no scary movie. You had nightmares after the last movie that you watched with Jacob." Bella sent me a glare. How was I supposed to know that she would get scared from watching Return to Oz? Although those monkeys with wheels for hands did creep me out too.

"Sure, I'd love too Mrs. 'C'." Lilliana smiled.

"Okay then, why don't you girls get started on cleaning this up. You help out too Jacob." ordered Bella.

"But I didn't do anything." I whined playfully.

"You are a witness and an accomplice to our crime, therefore you can be punished equally as us." Lilliana placed her hand on her hips.

"And don't worry about pajamas. I'm sure something of Nessie's will fit you." Bella walked away.

"I'm sure the pixie will be planing a shopping trip for you pretty soon." I teased.

"Pixie? Oh, you mean Alice. I don't mind shopping as long as we can go to Toys R Us on the way." Lilliana got off the bed and started picking up socks. Nessie began picking up her stuffed animals and putting her blocks away. I turned my attention to putting the books back on the shelf.

"Lilliana? Where are your mommy and daddy?" Nessie's question caused Lilliana to trip over a block. I helped to pick her up.

"My mommy...I don't know where my mommy went. I know that she'll come back again. They have to. They're my parents. But I'm okay with just Jose and me for now." Lilliana gave a small smile.

"You, Jose, and your friend, you mean." I corrected her.

"Oh yeah, him too."

"So how old is this guy anyways?" Bella had filled me in on why Lilliana got to stay with us.

"The same as Jose."

"And how old is Jose?"

"I don't know...older than me." I wasn't sure if Lilliana was avoiding my question or really didn't know. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and continue to find about more about this mysterious friend.

"Does Jose's friend have a name?"

Lilliana avoided my eyes and tried to organize Nessie's stuffed animals according to size.

"Is he related to you?" Nessie finished putting away all of her blocks.

"Kind of. I know he's not really family by blood. But he's been there for like ever. Ever since I was little he took care of me and Jose. Jose can't really cook." Lilliana giggled. I sat on the bed while the girls made themselves comfortable on some beanbag chairs.

A few hours later...

"Will you hand me the cheese Nessie." I was rubbing butter on some toast and placing them on the griddle.

"Can I do it Jakie?" Nessie used that face that I made it hard to say 'no' to. Of course her being my imprint made it almost impossible to deny her anything. I nodded my head and she grabbed a stool that brought her to be the same height as the counter; allowing her to place the cheese on the bread. I placed the other slice on top and flipped a cheese zombie that had been on the griddle for a while.

Bella had left me in charge of preparing dinner while she went to shop for the s'mores supplies. Emmett and Edward were digging a small shallow ditch in the back and preparing some firewood. Nessie had requested to have s'mores outside. The pixie had seen that it wouldn't be too cold tonight.

"How's the tomato soup coming Ana banana?" I had given Lilliana the easy task of opening the cans of tomato soup.

"It's getting there. And my name is not banana." remarked Lilliana. I could hear some frustrated grunts and sad sighs. I turned around and almost had a mini heart-attack.

Lilliana was stabbing a can with a hug butcher knife. I quickly grabbed it out of her hand.

"What are you doing? How did you even get this knife?" I place the knife in the sink.

"Well the can opener was taking too long. You wouldn't happen to have a machete, would you?" she tilted her head.

"No. And even if I did, I wouldn't give to a little girl. You shouldn't be grabbing knifes. They're dangerous and you could have hurt yourself." I scolded Lilliana.

"Um, Jakie?" Nessie tugged at my sleeve. I smelled something burning and immediately returned my attention back to the griddle.

Bella's POV

I walked back to the cabin with the groceries—having left Edward's volvo at the main house—and was met up by Edward. He took the bags out of my arms and gave me chaste kiss.

"Just thought I'd be a proper husband and help my wife carry in the groceries." I pulled him in for another kiss, but we were interrupted by loud whistle coming from Emmett.

"Do I need to hose you guys down? There are children in the vicinity, remember."

We ignored his comment and walked into the house. Lilliana and Nessie were currently enjoying some tomato soup and cheese zombies. Jacob was scraping some burnt cheese off the griddle.

"Hey Bells. I Fed the girls." Jacob smiled at me when he noticed I had returned.

"Did you feed yourself too?" I pulled out the graham crackers.

"Hell ya he did. He ate like 10 of theses and 3 bowls of soup." Lilliana surprised us with her choice of words. I turned to face Emmett as he tried to contain his laughter.

"Rosalie is not going to be happy that you're teaching her such bad words. What is Jose gonna think of his little sister's new vocabulary." I wagged my finger at him.

"Oops. Sorry. I'll try not to say bad words anymore. Sometimes I forget when Emmie's around." Lilliana apologized. Edward laughed at Emmett's new nickname.

"And just what is so funny, Eddie?" Emmett smirked.

"I'd suggest you stay quiet, Emily." Edward shot back.

"Daddy, is it ready?" Nessie interrupted their childish behavior.

"It's ready whenever you two are, sweetie." Edward kissed Nessie's head. I saw Lilliana give Edward a longing look.

Edward helped me clean up plates while Jacob and Emmett led the girls outside. I felt Edward's hands wrap around my waist as I dried the last plate. He rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Do you think Nessie will be really sad when Lilliana has to leave?" I sighed.

"The two do seem to be bonding quiet well. However, I don't think we should be worrying about that. Besides it will be a good thing when Lilliana leaves. Because that would mean that her brother will have returned along with Jose's friend. Who knows, they might even visit us every now and then." Edward kissed my shoulder and spun me around to face him. I could hear Emmet's laughing loudly. Lilliana and Nessie started giggling about something, but they must've been whispering.

"I guess you're right."

Our faces were inches apart. Edward gave me his crooked smile and I closed the distance between us. Even as a vampire, his kisses made me week to the knees. I didn't ned to worry about breathing anymore, so I could enjoy his lips for as long as I wanted. He lifted up onto the counter and placed himself between my legs. His lips left my mouth as he kissed my jaw and trailed butterfly kisses along my neck.

"Mommy! Daddy! Stop kissing! You can't kiss anymore!" Nessie's voice cut through whatever sexual tension Edward and I had built.

Emmett's POV

Jacob and I piled the logs in the small ditch. Lilliana and Nessie were walking around looking for a stick to roast their marshmallow.

"Emmett can I ask you something?" Lilliana tilted her head.

"Sure."

"Doesn't it make you nervous building the campfire?" she tilted her head the other way. I swear one day her head is gonna roll off.

"Why would I be?"

"Because fire and vampires don't really mix."

"Well unless you're gonna push me into it, I think I'll be just and dandy." I tousled her hair.

"I'm gonna go get the marshmallows." Nessie stood up but was stopped by Jacob.

"Um, I don't think that's a good idea. Why don't you wait a bit longer." Jacob laughed awkwardly.

"Why not?" Nessie tilted her to the side too.

"Because your parents are probably making out." Lilliana wiggled her eyebrows. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You mean kissing? But they do that all the time." Nessie looked so clueless. That made me laugh even harder. "What's so funny?"

Lilliana started making kissie faces at Nessie.

"Making out, is when you try to suck the other persons face off." Joked Lilliana.

"That sounds scary." Nessie and Lilliana giggled.

"Hopefully your parents grow out of it. Because if you kiss someone too much you start to forget about people. They might even forget you're their daughter." teased Lilliana. That caused Nessie stop laughing. Her face mirrored terror.

"Mommy! Daddy! Stop kissing! You can't kiss anymore!" Nessie yelled at the house.

Bella and Eddie walked out carrying s'mores supplies looking sheepishly.

I helped Lilliana cook her marshmallow to perfection. It needed to be a light shade of brown all around; she wanted it toasty on the outside but warm and gooey on the inside. This kid sure was picky.

We sat around the fire and Lilliana tried to challenge Jacob to a s'mores eating contest. I brought up the soap eating fiasco and Bella immediately put a stop to the contest. We didn't want Lilliana to throw for the second time this week.

Lilliana begged me to stay and watch a movie with her and Nessie. I had to call and ask Rosalie permission; not because I was afraid of her, but because tonight we had plan to do 'other stuff.'

"What movie did you choose Nessie?" Bella asked from the couch sitting next to Edward. Jacob plopped down on a beanbag chair. Lilliana and I resorted to laying on floor, on our stomachs.

"It's called 'Up'."

"Oooh. I've heard of this one. The old man is so funny. He's like the male version of Betty White. Except he's a guy...and grumpy...and needs a cane to walk around with. Okay...so maybe he's not exactly Betty White. They're just my two favorite old people." admitted Lilliana.

"You're such a weirdo." I tickled Lilliana.

Jacob's POV

I climbed onto the bed in my wolf form. Nessie hopped on to the bed and cuddle into me. Lilliana walked out of the bathroom looking a little sad.

"What's wrong Lilliana?" Nessie's voice was muffled by my fur.

"Nothing," sighed Lilliana, "I just miss Jose. I probably sound silly don't I. He barely left today and I'm already whining like a baby."

"You're not a baby. It's normal to miss the people you love." Nessie sat up and gave an encouraging smile.

"Thanks Nessie. I'm glad we're friends." Lilliana jumped on the bed and snuggled against my back.

Thanks Wolf Dragon Demon for reviewing. And yes I did think about Lilo and Stitch while writing the beginning of the chapter.
