The first thing I am going to say is I am sorry. I am sure that saying sorry is not to make up for my absence, but hear me out first before you attack me. I am sorry but a whole lot of things; the first thing being that you guys think this is a chapter. I usually hate author notes, but I feel like I needed to post one to explain myself.

I am going to list off all my excuses as to why I have not posted:

1. I have not had a working computer in so long. In fact I was borrowing peoples laptops, which means I have done little to none writing due to the fact that I did not have my own computer to save files. But now I have a perfectly working computer (yay!) I finally kicked Windows to the curb and went with Apple (I have no idea why I didn't do this sooner.)

2. I actually lied about the whole barely writing thing- I have been writing, but it is my own work so all my energy and focus has been put onto that.

3. I sorta forgot about fanfiction. If it was not for the random emails about people following this story, I do not think I would have ever come back.

So why come back after such a long hiatus? Because I hate leaving this story unfinished, and you guys actually like this story and I actually do too (rare for me to like my own writing). So I have been working on a few chapters. I want to get enough chapters done and get them posted while I figure out what the direction of the story was going.

And also since my parents decided to not help me out with college this year I have a lot of time to update and keep the story going and shocker- I might be able to complete it and move on with the second book of the series. I have a goal to do all the books in the Inheritance Cycle and yes that includes the patethic excuse of a last book. Can Inheritance be fixed? Or was it just that bad? We shall see, I am up for the challenge.

I am not going to promise the days or weeks I will have updates, but I am sure in the month of September there will be updates happening. Before I wrap this little note up I want to thank all the loyal readers of this story for inspiring me to come back, if you want you can yell at me in my inbox (I deserve it) and it will make me write faster. Ha ha. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. It is so nice to know there are so many people who enjoy the story, I truly enjoy writing it.

I will also keep you guys updated on my own story and how it is going, so maybe one day you guys will be writing fanfictions about my own stories. That would be majorly cool. Well I think this is all wrapped up now. Thank you once again and I will see you all in the next update, which will actually have a chapter! Scouts honor!
