The scent of roses and passion flowers filled the air of the forest.
The sight was amazingly captivating. Rydia didn't want to leave. She knew she would have to.

It reminded her of her childhood. The time she had spent with her mother, gathering berries and herbs.

The sky was shaded light blue. Creamy, white clouds danced past the sky, overlapping the golden sun that was shining onto the green trees giving nature an emerald glaze.

Rydia looked up at the sky, reminiscing about her mother. Her mint green hair...Her dark brown eyes...Her loving, pink lips, spread as a caring smile. Rydia felt the hot sun above her, like the sun was staring at her. She walked over to a high cherry blossom tree and sat down beneath it. The small pink petals flew from the tree branches like peaceful butterflies.

"I didn't know you came here..." said a deep, masculine voice. Rydia was familiar with that voice. She knew who it was. The voice came from the other side of the cherry blossom tree. "I didn't know you came here either..." Rydia smiled. She wanted to play with the conversation. "I like to relax here."

Rydia sat up and slowly stood up. She backed up against the cherry blossom tree. "Are you relaxed...?" Rydia asked playfully, smiling and biting her lower lip. There was silence. Rydia was worried. Her cheeks flushed crimson. Rydia didn't want Kain to be annoyed with her playful behaviour. Rydia made herself around the large tree to see her friend in person.

There was nothing there. "Kain...?" Rydia whispered in disappointment that Kain wasn't there. No-one was there. The forest was turning dark and Rydia felt lonely. Rydia had always felt lonely after what happened at Mist. "Everyone ends up leaving me...Everyone I ever cared for..." Rydia whispered to the trees around her.

Tears fell from Rydia's brown eyes and hit the ground beneath her.
Suddenly, Rydia felt warm arms hug her waist from behind and pulled her closer. Rydia leaned back and enjoyed the embrace.
"...Kain..." Rydia whispered. "I feel so alone without you..."

Kain leaned into Rydia and whispered in her ear. "I love you..." Kain kissed Rydia's cheek. Rydia turned around so she was facing Kain.

"I love you more..." Rydia pulled Kain as close to her and embraced him tightly as she kissed Kain passionately. "Kain, are you relaxed?" Rydia smiled at Kain and looked into his eyes. "I'm relaxed now." Kain smiled back at Rydia and looked into her eyes.

Kain and Rydia kissed passionately in the forest as the sky turned twilight.
