Having finished with his shower, the Doctor makes his way down the hallway and towards the console room. The outfit he has chosen for this trip back to Gallifrey is somber in its colors. Black trousers with black military combat boots, a gray button-down shirt covered by an even darker gray vest, and to finish off the outfit, the Doctor has on a well fitted black, military styled coat.

The Doctor lets out a sigh as he approaches the console and tries to keep himself busy as he waits for Rose and Arwen to arrive. Though he doesn't want to admit it, seeing Rose taking care of Arwen has caused the Doctor to begin wondering about how Rose would look taking care of their own child. In all his time spent roaming the universe, not once has the Doctor thought about raising more children. Sure, back in his first body he had allowed his genetic material to be used in the looms, but never before has he wanted to go about creating a child in the old fashion manner.

Lost in his thoughts, the Doctor doesn't hear the approaching footsteps; nor does he hear the soft chattering of his two females. So it comes as a surprise to him when a set of little arms wrap themselves around his left thigh.

"Hello." The Doctor says softly as he looks down at the little girl who has now become his daughter.

"Hello." Arwen giggles in reply.

"You look pretty." The Doctor tells Arwen as he pulls his leg free from the little girls' arms. He guides her into a spin so that he can make sure that her outfit is properly done up.

Arwen does a few spins, giggling out in joy as ankle-length skirt of her dress billows out around her legs. Having taken a bath earlier, the little girls had allowed Rose to dress her in the tan, orange, and red ombre colored dress. The dress has a princess bodice with sheer, three-quarter sleeves attached to the thick straps. Her light brown hair has been pulled back into a single fishtail plait with several orange and red ribbons woven in. To complete the outfit, Arwen has on a pair of inch heeled, Grecian looking sandals in a tan color.

"I would say that you look pretty enough to be going to a party." The Doctor tells the giggling child before picking her up and settling her against his hip. Then he begins to spin her around the room, as if he is dancing. This sets Arwen into another round of giggles.

The two of them keep whirling about the console room, oblivious that during their antics another person has come into the room.

Rose can't help but smile at the two-people dancing in the console room. She had sent Arwen off to go find the Doctor so that she could get cleaned up. After she had showered, Rose had noticed a set of clothes had been placed upon the stool in the bathroom. The clothes had consisted of: a knee-length orange tank dress with a three-inch thick tan belt, a pair of mid-calf length tan leggings, a floor-length red sheer robe with bell sleeves, and a pair of tan Roman-style sandals. Rose had put the outfit on, but had the red sheer over top the dress and leggings using the belt to hold the sheer in an upside down V shape over her legs. It would give her the ability to run, if she had to, without causing the sheer to wrap around her legs. The very last piece of the outfit is the pendant necklace that the Doctor had given Rose some time ago, which has his Gallifreyan name and hers carved together on the surface of the coin sized pendant made of silver wrapped around a Gallifreyan cube crystal.

Stepping out into the console room, Rose clears her throat to capture their attention.

The Doctor stops dead in his tracks as he finally notices Rose. His eyes rack over the human female and is surprised when his body begins to scream at him to breathe. Never has his secondary respiratory system fail him. Yet seeing Rose wearing his house factions' colors has somehow made his brain forget on how to function. But it isn't just the colors of Rose's outfit, nor the style of clothes, that awakens something primal within his body. It is the fact that she has left her hair loose and flowing freely in messy fashion that has him wanting to push her against the console and ravish her.

"Don't let me stop your fun." Rose says shyly as she approaches the Doctor. Then she gives Arwen a gentle smile before leaning down to place a kiss against the child's head.

"Oh I think we are done with our fun. Besides, we have arrived at Gallifrey and I will be needing to brief Romana on what has transpired. Knowing her, and I know her well enough, she will most likely have me debriefed with a full council in attendance." The Doctor says to Rose, trying hard not to let his building lust make itself known through their fledgling bond.

Setting Arwen back onto her feet, the Doctor looks back to Rose before offering a hand for her to take. It doesn't surprise him when she takes hold of it without a second of hesitation.

"Right. Time to face what's outside that door." The Doctor says to Rose, causing her chuckle as they walk towards the Tardis doors.

Without waiting for the Doctor or Rose, little Arwen runs out of the Tardis doors with sheer excitement at being back on her home world. Arwen knows what her planet looks like, but she comes to a stop only several feet away from the Tardis when she notices that she doesn't recognize the room she is in.

"Arwendeltaroter! Get back here right now, young lady." the Doctor calls out in a serious voice at feeling Arwen's apprehension. He forgot to mention where on Gallifrey he had landed the Tardis.

Arwen, however, ignores the Doctor's command and starts to look around the room. The room has red walls and the floor are of a white marble color. There are four silver wooden chairs in the room with a silver looking coffee table on one side of the room. The other side has a long silver buffet table, covered with several data discs and cubes.

Taking a closer inspection of the buffet table, Arwen reaches up and over the edge of the table in an attempt to take hold of one of the data cubes.

"Arwen. What do you think you're doing?" Rose asks as she reaches past the child's hand to move the data cube out of the girl's reach.

"Just wanna look." Arwen says, looking up to see that Rose is now looking down at her.

"You have to ask for permission first before you go touching other people's things. Right Doctor?" Rose says, trying convey the idea of common curtesy and respect towards things that belong to others.

"That's right, Rose." The Doctor says while quickly putting down an orb he had taken from a shelf that was built into one of the walls.

One of the two doors to the room opens and Romana walks in. She comes to a quick stop, startled by seeing the Doctor and the other two in the room. However, Romana tries to down play on being caught unawares, and gives the Doctor a friendly smile.

"So, you have finally returned from the battle. The council wasn't sure on the exact number of those who had survived. The council had tried to convince me that you were not one of the survivors, but I know you. You'd do everything you could to survive. So I welcome you home, Doctor." Romana stately says to the Doctor before noticing that the third person with the Doctor was a child. "Who is this?"

"Ahhh, yes. Romana, this is Arwendeltaroter, our adopted daughter." says the Doctor with a bit of pain filling his voice.

"I didn't know the two of you were looking to raise a child? Especially with an incomplete bond."

"We weren't. She is Dexlinterante and Aleenadetalanrokim's biological daughter." The Doctor replies with some sadness seeping into his vocal tones.

"What happened to her parents?" Romana asks as she approaches Arwen, who has suddenly placed herself behind Rose to hide from Romana.

"Aleena and Dex were killed in the line of duty." The Doctor says, answering Romana's question.

From behind Rose's legs, Arwen presses her face into the fabric of Rose's outfit. She doesn't like that this strange woman has taken an interest in her. Especially since the bond between her and her new parents is so new and fragile.

"I am sorry to hear that. Which one of you picked her up and started the family bond with her?" Romana asks, looking at Rose first then over to the Doctor.

"I made the initial link with my mind, but it was Rose who was the first to physically touch Arwen." The Doctor replies, stepping towards Rose. "Why do you ask?"

"Both clans have been asking after the child. They didn't know what had become of the child. I should warn you both that the families are arguing over who would be raising the child, if the child arrived with the survivors. However, the families will have no choice but to except that she is now your child, thanks to the bond that has begun to form between the three of you. Of course, you will be asked to present the evidence of the bond before the council and the two clans. Would you be willing to do this?"

"Yes." Rose says without hesitation.

"Of course." The Doctor answers. "I will fight any who try to take what is mine. You know this, Romana."

"I also know that you have never believed in the idea of breaking a bond that is just starting, only to replace with another. It is an old custom of our people, Doctor, and it is one that has stayed with our people since the beginning. And I am sure that Dex and Aleena's clans will attempt to have the council use it to take possession of Arwen from you." Romana tells the Doctor cautiously.

"I would like to see them try." The Doctor growls out at Romana. "You and I both know that shattering of a newly created bond can cause long-term telepathic damage. That is why I am against such practices."

"And yet, if you had only kept your position as Lord President, you could have abolished the practice. Instead you ran, leaving me to fill the position."

"And I haven't stopped running." The Doctor murmurs quietly to himself.

"And now with the war that is raging throughout the universe, the council will be focusing more on that than on removing or abolishing those old customs." Romana comments as she walks away from Rose and the Doctor, to make her way over towards her desk. From here, Romana decides to change the subject. "So how did you come to park your Tardis in my office chamber anyways?"

"Don't know." The Doctor says as he takes hold of Rose's hand. "The Tardis lands where she pleases. Half the time I hardly know exactly where or when my ship chooses to place herself on a planet."

Romana lets an all-knowing smirk appear on her face. Back when she used to travel with the Doctor, Romana had learned that the ship was just as stubborn as her pilot. Which was why Romana always found it difficult to pilot the ship. For some reason, the Doctor's Tardis was very temperamental over who was driving her.

"Well why don't you all go get some sleep, and come back in the morning. Then you can tell the council what happened on Aria." Romana gestures, with her hand, towards the door of her office that leads out into the hallway. "I'll have the Tardis moved to your family estate."

As the Doctor is about to decline the moving of the Tardis without him, the Tardis begins to dematerialize on her own. He stares, dumbfounded, as his ship disappears from Romana's office.

"Well isn't that just perfect." the Doctor says sarcastically.

Leaving Romana's office, the Doctor, Rose, and Arwen head out into the hallway. From there the Doctor quietly led Rose and Arwen out of the citadel and out towards one of the estates that he had inherited. He knows that there isn't any food at the family estate. For it had been abandoned since he had left Gallifrey after giving up the Lord President seat. The furniture, clothes, and linens were still there but they hadn't been used in a long time. So, the Doctor makes the decision that they will be stopping by the bazaar to pick up a few items.

He leads them to one of the small bazaars that are within the boundaries of the citadel. The bazaar only has a few stands with food while the rest of the stands sell mechanical equipment, parts, and other electrical trinkets. It is as they are passing one of those stands that the Doctor leaves Rose's side to look at something that has caught his attention.

Rose is holding Arwen in her arms as she keeps walking past several stands, not even noticing that the Doctor was no longer by her side. There aren't many people walking around this particular bazaar, which doesn't bother Rose that much. She was never really comfortable walking through dense crowds of people.

"Wha's that?" Arwen asks, pointing at a blue and green swirled colored orb on a stand shelf.

"I don't know. Doctor?" Rose asks as she turns her head to where the Doctor is supposed to be on her left. However, he isn't there and this causes Rose to turn in a full circle, trying to see where he went.

Sensing Rose's body going stiff, Arwen also turns her head left and right trying to see where her new father has gone. Since the Doctor is her main telepathic filter, Arwen begins to become scared at the thought that he is gone. Her hold on Rose tightens thanks to her fear, and Rose gently places a hand on Arwen's back while the other is left holding the child to Rose's hip.

Rose looks around once more for the Doctor before walking over to an owner of the stand with the orb that had caught Arwen's attention a few minutes ago.

"Excuse me." Rose calls out as she stops in front of the stand.

The old man, who owns the items being sold, turns from where he is talking to another customer, to look at Rose. His eyes glance down at the pendant that Rose is wearing around her neck, reading what was written on it. The man's gray eyes turn hard as he looks back up to Rose's face.

"Can you help me?" Rose asks. "I seem to have gotten separated from my husband."

The old man turns his back to Rose, having decided to ignore her instead of trying to help her.

Little Arwen, noticing Rose's agitation with the man, decides to make her voice heard on what the old man is doing.

"Hey. You cawn't ignore my mummy. She awsked you a question." Arwen screams at the old man.

The old man turns back towards Rose and begins shouting at her in a different language. Then he does something that takes Rose and Arwen by surprise. He leaps across the table of his stand, and violently takes hold of Rose's upper arm that is holding Arwen's weight. He continues shouting at Rose, not caring that Arwen has begun to cry at seeing the hostility that the man is showing.

Rose tries to break free from the man's hold, while trying to shift Arwen to her other arm. However, the man keeps a tight grip, and Rose is beginning to feel the pain from his hold. Yet she knows that she needs to protect Arwen and get the child away from the possibility of ending up on the receiving end of an attack by the man. She is finally able to get Arwen shifted to her other side just before the man twists her arm violently. The movement is so violent that Rose lets out a cry of pain as a sickening snap is heard coming from her shoulder.

Suddenly the Doctor appears out of nowhere and pulls the old man's hand from Rose's arm. He shoves the man to the ground before yelling at the man. The Doctor's eyes are ablaze with anger and his primal desire to protect his mate has kicked in.

Several others, who had stopped to watch the confrontation between Rose and the old man, are now hurrying to get clear of the area. They all know how violent a recently bonded male can be, but none of them are aware that the bond between Rose and the Doctor is still not fully complete. Yet they aren't willing to stick around to witness a possible blood bath.

The older man, realizing now that he has made an error, slowly rises from where he is on the ground. He continues to speak to the Doctor, though the tone of his voice shows that he still isn't about apologize for his treatment of Rose. He soon finds himself standing nose-to-nose with the Doctor, but he still isn't going to offer up an apology. Nor is he going to demand payment for the blue and green orb that the Doctor has just taken from his stand.

The Doctor, refusing to look away from the man, slowly steps away after having taken the orb from the tabletop of the man's stand. When he was over at a different stand, he had felt Arwen's curiosity towards the item. However, it was when he felt Arwen's fear that the Doctor realized he was needed, but by the time he got to them, he had heard the snap from Rose's arm. Then he felt the searing pain of it before anger took over his mind so that he could protect Rose.

Slowly and methodically, the Doctor back away from the man till he reaches Rose. Coming to a stop besides her, he hands the orb down to Arwen before picking her up. He does a quick telepathic check for any possible injuries that the girl might have sustained, and all he can sense is that she is scared by what she had seen. He is pleased that Arwen had been able to reach the ground safely once Rose's arm had been pulled out of its socket. He looks over to Rose and sees that she is cradling her right arm to her chest. Just seeing her fighting back the growing tears from the pain, causes the Doctor's anger to spike again.

For the last time, the Doctor looks back towards the old man and snarls out something with a deep voice. The old man shudders at the Doctor's words, but refuses to let his fear overcome him. His feet stay planted where they are, even though his whole body wants to run.

With the Doctor satisfied with the man's unease about the threat, he gently places his free hand on Rose's back to help guide her out of the bazaar area.

"I don't understand, Doctor. Why did he start shouting at me like that? I don't understand what I did that caused him to do what he did." Rose sniffles out as they leave the outer parts of the small bazaar.

"He is one of those who embrace the old ways. It was always frowned upon for a Time Lord to become involved with a species they deemed lesser than themselves. That old stooge back there isn't a Time Lord, but a Gallifreyan. However, I do know from which of the many clans here on Gallifrey he comes from. His clan doesn't get along well with the one I am from. Add that to you being my human wife, that was just more fuel to fire his ignorance. Now, why don't we start to head to my family home. That way I can see to your arm."

The Doctor knew that making Rose his wife would be seen as a taboo here on Gallifrey. Yet he wasn't expecting any reaction to be so forceful or even violent. For that man to do what he did to Rose, then call her a polluter of Time Lord blood was unacceptable in the Doctor's eyes. Then the man had the nerve to call him a traitor to his own people. That didn't bother the Doctor as much as the man's treatment towards Rose.

The small family continues walking till they are on the marble path that leads them to the city's outer wall. The path then turns to dirt after a few feet outside the gates that lead in to and out of the citadel. The deep red grass greets them with small groups of silver trees scattered throughout the large meadow. Further beyond the large expanse of a meadow is where the grass begins to disappear as a light copper colored sand begins to take over the landscape. With the late evening light shining down upon the meadow, it enhances the natural beauty even more.

"Wow. It's breathtaking, Doctor." Rose is in total awe of the planet's natural side. She has seen something like this before, in her dreams, but decides not to bring it up to the Doctor.

"It is, isn't it. Well, we still have a bit of a walk ahead of us till we reach my estate." The Doctor says as his hand continues to remain against Rose's back to help guide her.

"Will your family be there?" Rose asks quietly, worrying if his own family may treat her as harshly as the old man in the bazaar did.

"No one has been there for quite some time I am afraid. My mother died when I was a year old, and my father died a few years before I left Gallifrey for the first time on my own. That was about 7 regenerations ago. I am currently on my eighth body." The Doctor answers back as they continue to walk on the dirt path.

"Didn't your father remarry or fall in love again?" Rose curiously asks as she tries to keep her other arm tucked closely to her body.

"No, he didn't. My father bonded with my mother and I was the product of their physical enjoyment of each other. When my mother died, my father began to ignore me, acted as though I was never there. It was only after I got into trouble for sneaking out of the Academy that he began to take notice. Even then he couldn't even look at me for more than a few minutes before he had to look away."

"Why would he ignore his son?"

"I think it was because I reminded him of my mother. My nurse used to tell me stories of my parents when she put me to bed. She used to tell me that I had my father's brains and blood. But I had my mother's eyes and looks. Especially her hair. My mother had beautiful auburn hair with luscious waves in it from what I was told. And that was the kind of hair I had in my first body. A shame that I have yet to be ginger again."

"How did your parents meet, Doctor?" Rose asks as they past through a medium sized population of trees that the path happened to go through.

The Doctor stops walking and looks down at Arwen, who is fast asleep in his arms but clutching the orb tightly to her chest.

"Doctor? How did your parents meet?" Rose asks again as she watches the Doctor readjust his hold on Arwen. She can see that that some hidden pain has entered his eyes, and all she knows is that she wants to take that pain away from him.

With his adjustment of Arwen in his arms, the Doctor starts walking again. Then, after nearly five minutes of silence between them, the Doctor speaks to Rose.

"I don't know how exactly my parents met. I've asked but no one would ever tell me. All I know is that my mother was human, like you. I only discovered that after being appointed as Lord President. It was with that information that I ran away from the responsibility and Romana took over the position."

"I'm sorry."

"There is no need for you to feel sorry, Rose. It happened long before even your great grandparents were reproducing." The Doctor says with a light-hearted chuckle. "What about your parents Rose? I mean… Since I'm your husband now, I might as well know about, what do you humans call them, the in-laws? Ah yes, my new in-laws."

Rose lets out a chuckle, which causes her injured arm to shake and begin to hurt yet again. Once the pain has turned into a numb feeling, Rose begins to tell the Doctor about her family as they continue their journey. She explains how her parents met and fell in love. The heartache her mother went through when her father, Pete, was struck by a car. How her mother raised her all by herself.

The Doctor listens to Rose's stories, and is smiling the nearly the whole time. When Rose begins her next story, he notices that she hesitates only for a second before telling him about it. As Rose get halfway through the story, the Doctor is trying hard to keep his anger from bleeding through their bond. Hearing how this Jimmy Stone had harmed Rose, not just with words, but with his fists as well, makes the Doctor want to erase Jimmy Stone out of existence.

"I am sorry you went through all that, Rose." The Doctor says as they approach his estate.

"That's what everyone told me when they found out about it, but that's just it. People had an inkling that this was happening to me, but they did nothing about it. No one tried to help me escape from the abuse, nor did they even call the police when they knew he was beating me. It wasn't till I was in hospital, after one of those beatings, that people offered to help me or told me that they were sorry. If they really did care, they would have done something before I ended up in hospital. And it wasn't like I didn't try to get away from him, because I did try to get away. Yet there was always one of his cronies, or family members, that was watching me nearly all the time." Rose explains with a stray tear rolling down her cheek.

"Well, I can promise you, Rose, that you have nothing to fear from me. I would never harm you, I am not one for violence unless in self-defense. And I will always be there to defend you, Rose." The Doctor comes to a stop, along with Rose, in front of the pathway that leads up to the doors of the house. "Here we are, Rose. This is my parent's house, and since I am their only child, it is mine. Yours as well, now that you are my wife."

Rose looks at the house, or should she say mansion, with extreme awe. It looks like one of those parthenon buildings she had seen in ads for going on vacation in Greece. It has three columns of windows, which meant the home has three floors. The building is a deep purple color that comes from the rocks that were used to build it. There is also a large garden on left side of the house. While a large pond is located on the other side of the garden.

"Well? What do you think?" the Doctor asks Rose with a smile on his face. He could here whispers of her thoughts about the place in his head.

"It's beautiful. And large."

The Doctor chuckles at Rose's loss for words. He doesn't blame her for being speechless over the estate.

"Well then, I expect a tour of the place is in order then." He gently uses his hand to guide Rose up towards the door.

When they reach the large wooden door, Rose notices a few symbols were etched into the silver colored wood.

"That would be my family's crest. Kind of how like you humans back in the 1400's would use animals or words to distinguish what family you hail from. That symbol there," the Doctor nods at the figure eight on its side. "represents search for knowledge. While the symbol next to it represents justice." The symbol that was next to the sideways figure eight was an ancient scale.

The Doctor removes his hand from behind Rose's back and places it upon the wood. The spot under his hand begins to glow with a yellow color. A loud click noise follows this and the door slowly begin to open on their own.

"Sentient wood." The Doctor explains to Rose after seeing the confusion on her face. "Even after the trees have been cut, they still hold their sentient minds. Usually the same tree is used when building a house. However, it took several trees to help build this place. So my grandsire created a super computer in the center of the house so that the multiple trees could communicate to each other. Makes breaking and entering very difficult."

Stepping through the door, the Doctor leads Rose to where the kitchen is located within the large home. The kitchen, near the back of the home, is rather large. There is a large, purple colored stone sitting on top of silver covered cabinets in the center of the room, which serves as an island. Then the kitchen cabinets, along with countertop, makes a horseshoe that wraps along three of the four walls of the kitchen. It is on those countertops that they notice several metallic boxes.

"Well, it looks like the food, clothes, and linens have arrived. Might as well begin to unpack them after I see this sleeping beauty to bed and see to your injury." The Doctor leaves Rose in the kitchen as he heads off to another part of the house.

After waiting only a few minutes, Rose can't help but feel rather small in this large house and it shows on her face when the Doctor returns to her side.

"Let us see to that arm."

The Doctor leads Rose out of the kitchen and down a set of stairs that leads to a basement which was converted into a personal medical room. There is a rather large exam table off to the left side of the medium sized basement. In the very center of the basement is a large table with several beakers, Bunsen burners, chemicals, and several other scientific instruments strewn across the top.

"Now then, why don't you have a seat while I grab a scanner." The Doctor says as he gestures towards yet another exam table that is near the table in the center of the basement.

Rose doesn't say a word as she makes her way over and climbs up onto the exam table. She sits down near the edge of the exam table and watches as the Doctor moves about the basement. Rose can't help but giggle as he tries several different cabinet drawers in his search for the scanner. When the Doctor finally finds the scanner, Rose can't help but blush as he approaches her.

"Right. This shouldn't hurt a bit." The Doctor says to Rose as he starts up the handheld scanner.

Rose keeps her injured arm still as the Doctor begins scanning from the elbow up to the shoulder. Neither of them makes a sound during the scan, and once the scan is complete the Doctor reveals the diagnoses.

"Well that isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just an arm popped out of socket. Easy to fix, but you got lucky. My people are a lot stronger than you humans. Such fragile things you are. You could have had easily has several broken tendons, ruptured veins, even a broken bone or two."

"Well aren't you a ray of sunshine." Rose huffs out as the Doctor walks over to yet another cabinet. She keeps her eyes on the Doctor as he starts pulling out a few vials and a syringe. It is seeing the syringe that causes Rose's anxiety to grow.

This anxiety captures the Doctor's attention as can feel it through their bond.

"Rose, are you afraid of needles?"

"Always have been."

"It'll be alright, Rose. No need to get yourself worked up over it."

The Doctor walks back over to Rose and without any warning, takes hold of Rose's arm before plunging the prepared syringe into her arm. It only takes two seconds for the numbing agent to enter Rose's arm. Once the syringe is empty, the Doctor removes it from Rose's arm.

"What the hell was that about?" Rose hollers at the Doctor, unhappy with what the Doctor had done.

"Brace yourself." The Doctor tells her a second before he pops her arm back into its socket.

Rose, who was unprepared for the jolting movement, lets out a scream even though she doesn't feel any pain. A sickening grind then pop noise reaches her ears through her scream. Opening her eyes, which she didn't even realize were closed, Rose gives the Doctor a severely angry look.

"There you go. Good as new." The Doctor says to Rose as he offers out a vial filled with a blue liquid. "Now take that, and it will help repair any damage that may have been done to the ball and socket joint of your arm. Don't even think about arguing with me over it. You don't want to be feeling sore in the morning."

The Doctor picks up the empty syringe and makes his way over to a sink basin that is over on the right side of the room.

Rose, letting out a huff of irritation at what the Doctor had just done, unscrews the lid of the vial before downing the contents in one go. However, as the liquid fills her mouth, Rose tries hard not to spit out the disgusting liquid. Swallowing as fast as she can, Rose nearly gags herself and lets out a few coughs.

"Oh god, what was that stuff?" Rose asks once she has finished coughing.

"It is medication from Hermanius Five. Their medical prowess is sought by nearly everyone in the universe. Their advances in medicine is higher than those here on Gallifrey, which is why the council is so adamant about protecting it from the Daleks and their allies. However, the council also wants it so that our species is the only one that would have access to the planet." The Doctor rambles as he finishes up cleaning the syringe.

Rose hums her response to the information the Doctor has given her. Waiting patiently for the Doctor, Rose tests out her arm and discovers that the range in motion is the same as it was before. And better yet, with no pain or sign of it ever being injured. Rose is pleased with the shortness of the recovery and is about to tell the Doctor this when a wave of warmth spreads throughout her body. Sliding off the exam table, Rose dismisses it as nothing but a possible side effect from the medication the Doctor had her take. However, as Rose takes a step away from the table another, stronger wave of warmth flows through her body, but instead of disappearing it settles deep within her abdomen.

"Rose?" The Doctor calls out as he comes up to her side, worry is etched over his face. "Rose, what is it? What's wrong?"

"I don't…" Rose has to stop speaking as yet another wave washes over her. Then, to her utter embarrassment, she feels a growing dampness between her legs and lets out a whimper.

The Doctor can sense Rose's distress about something that is happening to her. It isn't till a he inhales near her that his nose can smell something mouthwatering coming from Rose. His brain tries to categorize what it is that he can smell, and the answer hits him like a hundred freight trains. Arousal.

Rose looks up at the Doctor to see his body has gone still, and he has a vacant expression on his face. She watches him closely for a minute, being mindful of any possible changes in the Doctor's face or body language.

"Doctor?"

The sound of Rose saying his name is enough to pull the Doctor out of his catatonic-like state, and slowly his eyes focus in on Rose's face. The pupils of his eyes are blown wide open in response to Rose's ever growing scent of arousal. Normally, her scent of arousal is so light that he can keep his body's response in check. Yet something is now making it stronger and the Doctor is finding it difficult to focus.

"Rose." The Doctor whispers in a low voice, which only causes the scent from Rose to grow stronger.

Knowing that they need to leave the basement, the Doctor quickly snatches hold of Rose's hand before practically dragging her up the stairs. He moves quickly up to the ground floor, not taking note of Rose nearly tripping several times as she tries to keep up with him. They go through a few rooms before coming across another staircase that leads to the second floor. Again, the Doctor just about drags Rose up the stairs behind him and down a wide hallway before coming to a stop in front of set of solid wood, silver colored French doors.

The Doctor places a hand flat against one of the doors and lets out a growl of annoyance at having to wait even a second for the door to unlock and open. Once the door opens, the Doctor pulls Rose inside and slams the door shut behind them.

"Doctor, what is going on?" Rose asks as the Doctor pulls her body so that it is pressed against his own.

The Doctor presses his nose into Rose's hair and takes a deep breath before answering her.

"I should have paid more attention. I should have been more careful."

"About what?"

"The medication I had you take. It didn't just help with repairing any possible injury to your arm. It also traveled to other parts of your body and sort of reset a few things."

"What things? Doctor?"

The Doctor's body begins to shake as excitement continues to build up in his body, and his mind begins to go fuzzy as their bond flares, wanting to be complete and whole.

"The bond, Rose. It needs to be completed. Between your growing arousal, scent, and our bond I am finding it difficult not to throw you up against the door and take you." The Doctor says in a very inelegant manner.

Rose blushes heavily at the Doctor's statement and the slickness between her legs grows even more. Then she finds herself looking up at the Doctor's face with one of his hands gently cupping the side of her face. She can see that sweat has started to build up on the Doctor's brow, and Rose wonders just how hard he is fighting himself.

"Rose. I... Can't..." The Doctor's breathing has become deeper and faster, drawing in Rose's scent. "I… I don't want to hurt you. Our species are compatible but there are a few differences that you need to know about."

The Doctor lets out a whimper he has reached full arousal and needs to find release for the bulge that is now straining in his trousers.

Rose lets out her own whimper in reply to the Doctor's. She blames it on their bond, especially since he now feels a pressure growing in her mind that is a mixture of the Doctor and his arousal. Knowing that the Doctor is struggling to keep himself sane, just for her to try and understand what he is trying to tell her, the Rose decides to jump head first into the unknown.

"I trust you, Doctor. I know that you would never knowingly hurt me. We need to complete the bond, and from what you once told me, this is the only way. I'm ready." Was all Rose could say before her mind is swiftly merged with the Doctor's. Their mutual arousal for each other builds into lust and even passion.

The Doctor crashes his lips against Rose's and things begins to escalate quickly. Clothing is shed as the two of them stumble towards a bed. Or at least, Rose thinks it's a bed. She can't be sure since almost all her focus is on the Doctor. When her bare back hits something soft that feels like a mattress, Rose decides that it most certainly is a bed.

As the Doctor's lips leave hers, and begins a trail down the side of her neck, Rose tries to use this time to look at the room they are in. But her attention is quickly brought back as the Doctor presses his legs against hers, insisting on her opening them for him. She allows her legs to open, and within seconds feels the pressure of the Doctor entering her body. Rose lets out a gasp as she feels the Doctor fill her to capacity then stills.

"Rose." The Doctor whispers against her ear before pulling his head back to look at her.

The two stare at each other for a time, as if trying to catalog every little detail about the other in their mind. Through the bond, the Doctor sends Rose a mixture of several feelings ranging from hope, love, and awe to protectiveness, joy, and a little sorrow. Before Rose can focus on the sorrow, the Doctor closes that emotion off from her, quickly hiding it from her. So, Rose decides to let it go for now and not get offended by it.

"My Doctor." Rose says softly as she gently pushes a few damp curls from the skin on the Doctor's forehead.

"My Rose." The Doctor says reverently before leaning to kiss Rose.

As they kiss, the Doctor slowly begins to rock his body against Rose, causing a small amount of friction to build in her body. He can feel through tightening of their telepathic bond, that it is this friction that Rose's body craves. So, he slowly begins to speed up his rocking and is surprised when Rose's arms wrap around his back with her fingers beginning to claw into his skin. Deciding to keep rocking at steady pace instead of trying to speed up even more, the Doctor can feel the fluttering of the warm, wet wall against his organ inside of her. Then those same walls clamp down against it and Rose lets out a muffled wail during their kiss.

The Doctor slows his rocking to barely moving at all after breaking their kiss. He watches with rapt attention as Rose attempts to gain control of her shuddered breathing. Never has the Doctor witnessed a human female orgasm, especially when said orgasm has come from him. He tries to keep himself in check so that Rose has ample time to calm before seeking out another one from her. It's when she gives him a shy smile that the Doctor takes it as a good sign to continue.

Choosing to end the rocking motion, the Doctor sets out on a different way to see if he can get the same reaction out of Rose. He slowly pulls out till just his tip is just inside of Rose, then he pushes back in with a long stroke. If the Doctor thought Rose's reaction to the rocking was good, her reaction to this was even better in his opinion. Not only did Rose's fingers dig into his back, but her hips actually rose up to meet his. So, the Doctor decides to do that same motion again and again, which he can feel from their bond that Rose is enjoying this more than the rocking.

This only lasts a few minutes before the Doctor can sense Rose is starting to become more relaxed with not much of a building towards orgasm. Deep within his mind, a primal growl vibrates in irritation of this and the Doctor finds that he is wanting to speed things up. With this new growing need to move faster, the Doctor begins to quicken his pace, which has Rose's breathing starting to sound short and quick.

Rose has never been a moaner during sex, but she is a heavy breather with a few sighs. Yet with the speeding up of the Doctor's movements, Rose is starting to have a harder time catching her breath. With each of the Doctor's fast moving, long strokes, Rose is noticing that her legs have caused the pair to move at least twelve inches up the mattress. So, Rose decides she is going to wrap her legs around the Doctor's waist.

As she starts to move her legs, Rose lets out a startled squeak as she feels one of the Doctor's hands grip the back side of her thigh and press it up towards her chest as her other leg has found its place around his hips. Now with a new angle, Rose begins to feel another orgasm beginning to build up quickly and crests before she has a chance to enjoy it. But unlike last time, the Doctor doesn't slow his movements, which causes a fire like sensation to build deep within Rose's belly. Then a strange feeling begins to make itself known to Rose as the friction from the Doctor sliding in and out of her begins to have a slight stretching to it from near the base of his shaft.

"That would be a difference." The Doctor groans out as he begins to feel his knot grow on his shaft.

Before Rose can even form words to ask about it, the Doctor buries his face against the crook of her neck, where it meets her shoulders, and quickens his pace. Each of his thrusts are becoming more powerful and hard with the increase in speed, which each impact with Rose's hips causes a hollowed sound to fill the air.

Rose, who was taken by surprise by this quick change in the Doctor's movements, can do nothing but hold tight to the Doctor's body and let out a few groans of pleasure from the fiery friction that is building to what will most likely be the best orgasm ever. However, Rose can feel the growing form from the Doctor's shaft stretching her walls to the point of almost becoming painful. Suddenly, the orgasm hits Rose like a tsunami tidal wave and her back bows while a scream of pleasure explodes out of her. It is so intense that she hadn't realized that her eyes were closed and that the light wasn't coming from the setting sunlight.

Feeling Rose's walls tighten hard against him, the Doctor does a few shallow strokes before his knot grows too much for him to move. Then, the Doctor's own orgasm releases itself with such force that the Doctor can feel each muscle in his lower belly area tighten then relax with each gush of released fluid. Part of him wonders for a second if each muscle spasm is his or are in relation to the quivering from Rose's legs, but the small quivering that his hand feels from Rose's thigh aren't strong enough to reach through his own body. Yet what shocks the Doctor the most is that he had let out his own low groan with his release.

Even with her Earth-shattering orgasm coming to an end, Rose begins to feel the gushing of fluid that the Doctor's own orgasm is releasing within her. It is this sensation that causes Rose's mind to begin to panic.

The Doctor mumbles something against the skin on her neck, and Rose gently turns her head towards his own, which begins to pull away from her neck. As his face comes into view, Rose can see that his eyes look much older than they ever have before, and that there is something ancient and all-knowing hiding itself within them.

"It would take more than just one round for you to become pregnant, Rose." The Doctor says as his eyes focus in on his wife's face. In his mind, he can feel the solidifying of their bond and now they will both be able to sense one another no matter what. And before Rose can verbally ask a question, the Doctor answers it as well.

"It's called a knot, and yes all males of my species have them. It's just one of the differences between humans and Time Lords. And to answer your third question," The Doctor has to stop talking as yet another gush of fluid is released from where his shaft is nestled in Rose's body. Once he lets out another low groan, he continues with finishing his sentence. "we're going to have to wait for the knot to recede before either of us can move. So, I suggest we take this time to try and rest."

Without waiting for Rose to say anything, or even think of something, the Doctor wraps both arms underneath Rose before rolling them so that Rose is now lying on top of his body. The pair lay like this for a time, and as one of the moons orbiting Gallifrey begins to rise over the horizon, the Doctor feels Rose slip into sleep and decides to join her in sleep as well.
