By the way the house looked, she must have took it bad. The workers come on Monday, to fix the door and patch the wall. They said she just went crazy, the night she got the call.

-Beaches of Cheyenne, Garth Brooks.

Rotti sat behind his desk, holding his head in his hands as he thought of Marni. The agreement Nathan had signed was splattered with her blood, but Rotti didn't mind. He held the contract close to his face and inhaled the scent of it, reveling the fact that he could punish Nathan for the rest of his life. He frowned as he thought of the other part of the agreement, isolation was best for his little song bird, it would give him an edge in making sure Mag was under his control and made her way into his bed. She was no Marni, but her connection to Nathan would suit him perfectly. He watched on the panel behind his desk and smirked when he saw a heartbroken Nathan pick up the phone, sitting forward he punched in a button on the controls and a view of another telephone came up next to it.

Mag picked up the phone with a smile on her face, clearly expecting a call from Nathan to tell her about the baby. Rotti's smirk gave way into a full blown grin when he saw Nathan tell her of Marni's death, Mag nearly collapsed. He saw her ask a question and Nathans reaction, the desperately hopeful look on her face falling when he told her the news of Shiloh's 'death'. Mag pleaded with Nathan for a moment, probably asking him if she should come over, but Nathan yelled at her and slammed down the phone. He crumpled to the ground and held his head in his hands, Rotti felt pleasure coursing through his veins as he watched his rival fall. His attention went to the screen showing Mags reaction to the news.

Mag hurled the phone at the wall, breaking through the Sheetrock and lodging it halfway through it. She grabbed the end table and threw it as hard as she could into the hallway, the vase that had been resting on it shattered on impact and left a large gash in the paint. Rotti could clearly see her face and watched her break down, tearing through her house and destroying everything in her path, her face shining with tears as she pulled down photographs and hurled them through the picture window in her living room. Finally Mag lost her energy for destruction and curled up in the corner of the room to sob, her bare feet bloody from where she had trampled broken glass and her hands clawing at her face as if to gouge out her eyes. Rotti stood up and called his driver, he needed to get to her before she hurt herself.

While he had been traveling it seemed that Mag had gotten another energy spurt, when he walked through the front door he saw nothing resembling the well kept home of his singer. He found Mag in a broken bloody mess on the floor of her kitchen, the window broken and glass in her hair. He cradled her close to him and held her as she sobbed, picking her up and walking down the hall towards his car. He put her in the backseat and held her closer while the driver made his way to the nearest emergency room. Once Mag was taken in by the doctor Rotti made a call, effectively repairing and shutting Mag's house down and having the cottage on his estate opened up. It was time for Mag to go into his gilded cage. His next call went to his security team, he wanted a copy of the phone call.
