A.N: I may be doing a sequel. It would be a very different style to this story, and would likely bring upon your wrath, but I may be doing it all the same. For now, just this.

Dear Harry,

Assuming this has gotten through your censureship and fanmail before we are both dead, you are alive. I suspect you are close to disbanding your Militia permanently now. First of all, know that, at least for Voldemort, there will be no need for a standing army in wizarding England. I have destroyed the last horcrux and the last of that man has been finally let free. And second, let it be known that there will be a great need for a new Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards as I will soon be once again and hopefully permanently removed from their superfluous ranks. It will perhaps take longer for that diligent mind of yours to get as content with death as I find my own to be, but you'll see, in a few centuries perhaps, the appeal of death's version of adventure. One last nag before I go, as it seems I'll have the time. I told you once what I thought was excellent advice; that it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live. Now I find myself in the very awkward position of having to suggest the exact opposite: that you not focus so much on preserving life that you forget to dwell on dreams.

All my lemondrops and cups of tea,

Albus P. W. B. Dumbledore
