Tales of the Truth
...I'm really bad at thinking of titles.
Prologue -
Horo played with the three-year-old child's hair. "Her hair is finally starting to grow long."
The toddler started to fuss, and Lawrence picked her up from her mother's lap. "Hungry!" Lara Kraft, the girl, exclaimed
"I'll go make something for her to eat." Horo told him
She made some food for their child, and Lawrence fed her. After she was done eating, she fell asleep.
"Lawrence, why don't you put Lara in bed... I need to talk to you."
"Alright." he did as told, then joined Horo. "What is it?"
"There's been some... trouble." she admitted
"What kind of trouble?" he asked nervously
She explained that there were some problems which, as a god, she was obligated to help with. As in, Lara or not, she had no choice. It seemed that some of the other gods recently had been unable to get along - resulting in several wars. This was quite dangerous for the humans, and all the gods were required to assist. "...And as my husband, apparently you too must come."
"What about Lara?"
"...I don't know. It's too dangerous for her; I don't want her to get hurt."
"Then what...?"
"I really don't know, Lawrence..."
