A/N: This was just a short idea I had. This is not a song fic, I just found that the song fits the idea. This story leaves some to the imagination. I hope you enjoy it, reviews would mean so much to me!

Feels like I'm falling in love
I'm lost in your eyes
You make me crazier

--Taylor Swift, Crazier

"..And you are not her mother!" Bella yelled at Rosalie, pulling Renesmee from her arms. "You are not her mother, and you never will be. Not hers, not anyone's. So stop being so bitter and trying to steal mine away from me. Get over it." She stormed from the room, taking Renesmee upstairs.

Rosalie turned to see Jacob watching from the doorway.

"Go away, mutt," she growled, shoving past him. Once she was out the door, she ran into the woods. She leaned her back against a tree and put her face in her hands. She began to sob. If tears were possible for her, she would have drowned in them.

She then heard footsteps approaching. She swallowed her sobs and tried to stop them altogether. She saw Jacob walk towards her out of the trees. He was not looking at her without that usual sarcastic, hate-filled look. It was one of a different emotion. Sympathy?

"Go away. Shouldn't you be off comforting your precious Bella?"

"I heard what she said," he replied.

Rosalie did not say anything. Shejust focused on giving him a cold glare.

"I'm really sorry that she said that. I can not believe her. I never really realized before that she is… well, she is a heartless bitch. She only cares for herself and what she wants. She doesn't take anyone else's feelings into consideration."

She smiled. "We can agree on one thing, at least."

He took a few steps closer. "Are you all right?"

"Why would you care?"

"Because…" he trailed off, blushing slightly, dismissing whatever he had been meaning to say. "You know, you're just like me."

She scoffed at him. "No, we are not in any ways similar, pup."

"You have a family, but yet you are all alone. There is a gaping hole in your chest because something is missing, but you do not know how to fill it in. You are afraid to trust anyone, because you have had your heart broken too many times to be fixed."

She froze for a second. Then she looked at him, examining his face. She slowly walked toward him and placed a cold hand on his face. She gazed into his eyes. That cold look was now gone from her eyes, and her face had softened. She stroked his face.

"Such a beautiful child…" she murmured.

He gazed down at her, confused.

"You are the only one who has ever understood that. It is like you can see through me, into my soul."

"I understand," he replied simply. That look she was giving him was one that he could not comprehend.

Rosalie buried her other hand in his hair and pulled his head down towards her, kissing him for a long moment. She then pulled away and smiled at him. "It's funny how I've gone from hating you to loving you all in one day."

He smiled wryly. "Care to hear a blonde joke?"

She laughed and pushed him away. "Go home, mutt."
