Kidnap my Heart

Chapter 1: Worst Night Ever

Seventeen-year-old, Bella Swan, was sitting at her desk looking over her homework when she heard something pop downstairs. She got up and hurried downstairs to find that her dad was trying to cook again. "Dad what are you doing?" She asked curiously.

"I was trying to make dinner," he replied.

Bella laughed and turned the stove down. "First of all dad, if you keep this up too high, the whole thing will burn to the bottom," she commented.

"Sorry kiddo, you've been studying so much I thought I'd try to make dinner for a change," he answered.

She smiled and put the pot in the sink. "Why don't you order a pizza instead?" She suggested.

"Sure," he replied.

Bella pushed her hair from her eyes with a small smile. "I'll be back dad I'm going to take the trash out," she informed.

"Alright," Charlie answered as he dialed the number for the pizza place.

Bella sighed as she carried the trash bag out to the trashcans. For the last year, Bella was living in Forks after her mother remarried. In addition, since the last year she had been dating her childhood friend, Jacob Black, part of the Quileute Tribe that was over on the reservation part.

As Bella walked up to the trashcans, putting the trash bag into it, she suddenly had the feeling she was being watched. She looked around before she started walking back up to the front door. She let out a shriek when she slipped and fell onto the ground. "That was easy," a voice commented.

"Grab her before she runs," another insisted.

Before Bella could call for her father, a gag was put into her mouth and a sack was put over her head. One of her kidnappers lifted her up and took off running. No matter how hard she kicked at them, it was as if it did not faze them at all.

------------------------------

After it felt like they had gone across the country, her kidnappers plopped her down on the ground. "Hey look what we brought," one announced laughing. They ripped the sack off her head and she looked around trying to scream through her gag. They grabbed her arms and tied them behind her back around a pole. "A nice gift for Edward don't you agree?" The person behind her asked.

"She smells great," another answered touching her face.

She tried to pull away, tugging on her ropes while they were laughing at her. "Foolish girl," he laughed. Bella looked around at their faces and felt her heart rate pick up. Their eyes were all red; their skin was pale as snow.

"Hear that? She's scared," one kidnapper commented.

Bella looked around, swallowing hard. "There's something wrong with her though," the one who had tied her hands commented.

"What?" A woman asked.

"She smells of dog," he replied.

The woman walked over and sniffed her hair. "Yuck she does," she answered. Bella tried to keep herself calm and they looked up when someone entered the camp.

"What is this?" a velvety voice asked.

"We brought you a gift," one of her kidnappers commented, gesturing over to her.

Bella looked up when the leader walked in and she swallowed hard. He was possibly the most beautiful man she had ever seen in her life. He stood tall, maybe about 6'1", he had red eyes, bronze colored messy hair, and was wearing brown boots, blue jeans, and a black t-shirt.

The leader, she guessed was Edward, circled her. "She's untouched I swear," the one who tied her insisted.

"There was no need to gag her Laurent," Edward answered, taking the gag from her mouth.

Bella stared at him. "No use for screaming anyways, she's out in the middle of nowhere," he added.

"Wait until my dad finds you," she hissed.

He chuckled lightly. "Silly girl you think your dad will be able to find you?" He asked. He walked around her a little more and tilted her chin up. "She smells of mutt," he added, letting her go.

"We can find you another," Laurent insisted.

"No she's fine," He answered.

He squatted down in front of her, his red eyes locking with her brown eyes. "She'll stay in my tent," he informed. He looked at his coven. "And you know you are not allowed in there without any kind of permission," he added. They all remained quiet before he untied Bella's hands.

As soon as the ropes were untied she tried to run, but he was faster grabbing her arm. Bella hit the ground and nearly hit her head. "Foolish girl," he hissed.

"I'm no one's property let me go!" She snapped.

He rolled his eyes as he dragged her into his tent and closed the flap. "What you guys are like campers?" She asked.

"You can say that," he replied.

He sat down on the ground. "What's your name?" He asked. She remained quiet, pulling her knees up to her chest. He looked at her. "Come on you can't be the only human in the world without a name," he told her.

"Bella," she said finally.

"I'm Edward, this is your welcoming party," he answered.

She gave him a glare, keeping her knees up to her chest. "Well I'll be back with some blankets for you," he told her getting up off the ground. He left the tent, leaving Bella there to look around. The air was damp and cold. She had no idea where she was, she would call for help, but she had left her cell phone on her desk at home. Bella bit her lower lip and rubbed her arms.

Back in Forks, Jacob had pulled up to the house with Sam, Embry, and Paul in his car. They got out and a growl left Jacob's throat when the familiar scent hit his nose. "Smell that?" He asked Sam.

"How can it be missed?" Sam answered.

Jacob walked around sniffing. "It's not a Cullen," he informed. They nodded in agreement and Jacob sniffed the ground a little more. "We have to find her," he insisted.

"We will don't worry," Sam answered.

Jacob got up from the ground and they walked back to the car before the neighbors started asking questions since Charlie had gone to the station to dispatch all his officers to find Bella. "What do we do now?" Embry asked.

"We get the rest of the pack and we go searching for her," Jacob replied.

"Jake, I know Bella's your girlfriend and everything, but what makes you think she's still alive?" Paul asked.

"I just know she's still alive," Jacob answered.

They got back to the reservation to drop Jacob's car off so it would not look too suspicious. The rest of the pack was there waiting. "It was leeches who took her, but not the Cullen leeches," Jacob informed.

"So what do we do now?" Leah asked.

"What do you mean what do we do? We go after them," Jacob replied as they went into the forest.

"Jacob this is crazy she might not be alive!" Leah exclaimed grabbing his arm.

Jacob turned around with a growl. "She's still alive! I know it! I am the leader of this pack, you will do as I say," he snapped. Jacob went behind a bush and took off his clothes, tying his pants around his leg. He turned into his wolf form and walked around the bushes to see the rest of his pack there. "We will follow whatever trail is left. We don't stop until we find them and I bring Bella home," he told them.

"Jacob this is a suicidal mission. At least let Seth stay he's too young," Leah answered.

"No way! I want to go!" Seth insisted.

"Leah's right. You're too young," Jacob answered.

"I'll follow you if you make me stay behind," Seth threatened.

Jacob's wolf form growled before shaking. "Fine we don't have time to argue, let's just go," he muttered before they ran off into the forest.

Bella was still sitting in the corner when Edward came back. "I brought you some blankets and food," he informed setting them down.

"What like my last meal before you kill me?" She asked.

He rolled his eyes, putting a plastic bag in front of her. "I got you a variety of food," he told her.

"How did you go to a store with those eyes?" She asked curiously.

"The lovely invention of sunglasses," he replied.

Edward unrolled the blankets and put a pillow by her. "You have this tent and yet you don't sleep," she commented.

"You seem to know an awful lot about vampires," he answered.

"I'm friends with a coven. The Cullens," she told him.

A growl escaped his throat when the last name left her mouth. "Eat, rest," he told her leaving. She bit her lower lip as she opened the bag to see fruit there. She grabbed an apple and took a small bite of it.

Edward closed the flap behind him and stood around the fire that his coven had built. "We leave in the morning," he informed.

"Good the sooner the better," one vampire commented.

Edward glanced at them. "I'm surprised you haven't enjoyed your gift," Another commented.

"I will enjoy her when you're not five feet away and can hear, James," Edward answered.

He looked into the fire, listening to the thoughts of his coven. He tried to listen to the thoughts of the human in his tent, but then to his surprise, he couldn't hear her thoughts. He got up and went over to the tent, opening the flap to see if she was still in there. She looked up at him. "What?" She asked.

"Nothing," he replied closing the flap again.

He pushed his fingers through his hair. He couldn't hear the human's thoughts. He was going to feed on her the moment his coven had left him alone, but now he wanted to know why he couldn't hear her thoughts. This girl was intriguing, but her blood sang to him. Edward hissed before walking into the forest. "Where are you going?" James asked.

"Hunting, no one touches the girl," Edward replied before disappearing into the forest.
