Disclaimer: *sighs* Don't we all wish we owned Harry Potter?
I glimpsed James from across the room. He winked at me.
And I absolutely hated it.
Here I was stuck on a date with some weirdo I barely even know while James is off flirting with the thousands of girls who are attracted to him.
Alice is here with Frank too, and whenever what's-his-face says some boring fact she'll say, "Isn't that interesting, Lily?" or "Fascinating!"
She set me up on this date. It was all in good means, but…
I haven't been paying attention though. I've been watching James charming all of the girls and making them swoon.
I said, "Will you please excuse me?" and hurried over to James.
"We need to talk," I hissed at him.
"Why of course," he said, winking at the girls before following me outside.
"What is going on here?" I demanded.
"My, you look stunning today, Lily," he said.
"Stop! Stop being so perfect! I hate it! Everything about you is just so…" I said.
"I'm not perfect, Lily," he fumed.
"You are! You so are! Everyone likes you! And you're just so…perfect!" I yelled back.
"I'm not perfect," he said again, "The girl I've loved since the day I've met her still hasn't gone out with me. No matter what I do, she won't say yes."
"Well maybe it's just because you're so…perfect! Too perfect for her!"
"Lily," he said, "You're perfect. I'm worthless next to you."
My jaw dropped, and I had no idea of what else to do.
I grabbed him and kissed him.
After we broke apart, I said, "Yes. I'll go out with you."
Soo! I'm backkk!! Aren't you just THRILLED? Well. This was my first drabble-y attempt at James/Lily.
Well, you guys know the drill…REVIEW!
