Roy placed a tender kiss on the grave-stone.
"It's time, Maes." He said, sitting stiffly on his knees.
"I'm going back."
It really was time. Roy was going back to the East. But before he fully left, he stopped by to say one last farewell. One last goodbye to his dead friend, guide and more.
Slowly, Roy got up and started to walk away. His left hand came up to his eyes, brushing away tears- yet to be shedded. The ring-finger flashed in a glance. The small metal-band sparkled promptly, reflecting the sun's rays.
Yes. He was going to miss the good man. The man with whom he shared so much.
Even a bond...which no one knew.
And no one would ever know...for it was a special secret...
