A/N - Just finished reading a dark and twisty book. The main character reminded me of Georgie. This is what came out of it.

Disclaimer: Can you honestly tell me you think I own any of this?

Five Things That Mean Nothing And Everything to Georgina Sparks

---

Parents.

They forced rules down her throat.

"Elbows off the table. Don't chew with your mouth open."

As she grew, more rules came.

"Don't smoke, don't drink, be back by eleven."

Eventually she noticed they never followed any of their own rules.

Hypocrisy was pathetic. And so were they.

---

Dreams.

She considered joining the circus once.

It was full of freaks. She'd fit right in.

Then she remembered she had no circus-type talents.

Another dream was shattered.

---

Chuck.

They kissed at a party. He was a meaningless toy.

Then he flirted with an eight grader. Now he was a challenge.

It took her two weeks, but she won. They both enjoyed the prize.

They never spoke again after that.

She was as meaningless to him as he was to her.

---

Cocaine.

One of the two things that was white and powdery in her life.

The first was sweet. It made you feel better when you were sad.

The only thing it damaged was teeth.

The second, not so sweet. It definitely helped sadness, or caused it. She never figured out which.

It damaged everything, or maybe she was the damage.

---

Serena.

She admitted she loved her.

That was the only time she ever used that word.

The blonde didn't love her back. Not in the same way.

The blonde had everything. Parents, dreams, friends, life.

That's why she loved the blonde.

She loved what she could give her.

The blonde thought she loved her. Then Pete happened.

The blonde knows she doesn't love her anymore.
