JTL's Teen Titans Finale

Author: James the Lesser

A/N Was rereading the TT series and realized I never finished it! So now am going to.

Titan Tower Steel City

The sky goes from a reddish orange to a strange green before turning white.

Raven continues protecting as many as possible with her powers.

She, and every one else, close their eyes as the bright white of the sky gets even brighter.

When Raven opens her eyes she looks around and sees the Tower is missing. Every thing is missing from Steel City. She sees trees and brush and... "Dinosaurs?"

A small reptile like creature looks up and makes a noise before running in to some ferns.

Raven closes her eyes again and sucks every one she had been protecting through her communicator before landing on the ground below.

Changling and Terra are stunned. "Uh, what's going on?" Changeling sees a lizard that was far too large to be like any that would normally be in the area.

Before Raven can respond, Ezekiel does. "Time travel. We went back roughly to just before the Jurassic period. Give or take half a million years."

One person, the oldest there, clears his throat. "So this even made time reverse but Raven protected us with her powers so we were unaffected."

Changeling turns and sees... "Batman! Thee Batman, awesome."

Batman simply nods.

Nightwing continues looking around. "Any idea what caused this?" Batman shakes his head. Nightwing turns to Ezekiel and Raven. "Well?"

"No." Ezekiel sighs. "I can tell we have traveled back in time but can't determine why."

Logan, who holds his wife close to him, sees the group and notices some one is missing. "Where's my sister?"

No one wants to tell him but finally Raven does. "She turned. She attacked M, joined the PAC, and was killing. We were going after her and other things when this all happened."

"Oh. So she didn't have a communicator on her." Raven nods. "Well, now what?"

Mojo Joey points a hand at a fern and it grows larger. She leaps and lands on the leaves forming a type of bed. "My powers work again but time travel might be out of my range."

Kid Flash, Jinx, and countless others have no idea who Mojo Joey is. So much had gone on world wide they didn't keep track of every thing some one else was.

There is confusion, worry, and fear among the group. With no idea how it was done none could figure out how to reverse it.

Months Later

The Titans, and Batman, have formed a small community.

Things may have been tense at first but being the only humans in the world they learned to get along.

Batman even had to remove his cowl and reveal who he was as did Nightwing.

Mojo Joey went off on her own but would visit every now and then.

Raven and Ezekiel, who had finally convinced Uriel it was ok to come out and take some control of her body, tried to find a magical way to go back.

But as the days became weeks and the weeks became months she lost hope.

Year Since Time Travel

Raven stares up at the sky. Jericho strums his guitar as a shooting star flies overhead. Jericho, there might be a way I can change this.

Really?

Yes.

It would be permanent. It would mean I never meet you or the others. But you never would need to. I never would need to.

What do you mean?

She turns and looks at him. "If I die, I go to hell."

Dealer made you a deal. You can't die.

"Dealer doesn't even exist yet. None of the Sins do. If I die I'll go to hell and be the first. Thee First. With time I will become possibly the third most powerful being in the Universe."

Only third?

"Behind you know who and Death. If I do this I can change things. I could stop Krypton from blowing up. I can stop a thug from shooting a young boy's parent's in the alley. I can stop a monster from slashing the throat of a young boy."

Jericho smiles. But where would the Earth be with out those heroes?

"They won't be needed."

How can you know?

She gets off the ground and walks over to him. "Because I will make sure of it." She leans over and kisses him.

Of course, knowing what she must do and actually doing it were two different things.

No one left was a killer. Ravager had once been an assassin but that was her past.

Raven had no choice but to ask Uriel, Unique, Ezekiel. "But you're my friend. You're even Ezekiel's friend."

"I know. And I hate asking you but you must understand none of this will happen if you kill me."

"Why don't you kill yourself?"

Raven closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Because I'm a coward. I know what must be done but I can't do it. I need to die so I can go to Hell but I can't do it myself."

Uriel hugs Raven tightly. "If none of this happens then I won't be killing you. Like, you stop us from going in to the past then I don't kill you. If I don't kill you you like, don't go to Hell. So you don't stop us."

"It is complicated but I hope with a few million years I'll be able to figure out time travel."

Uriel takes a step back. "I, I hope you do."

"Uriel, I," Raven is caught off guard when Uriel slashes her throat.

Raven instinctively reaches for her wound to heal it when Uriel breaks her arms at the elbow. "You said you wanted me to kill you." Uriel gets close and starts sucking the blood from Raven's throat feeding on her.

Raven's eyes glow and she tries to defend herself. Uriel, Ezekiel, glows with their own power and continues feeding from Raven's throat.

Hell

Raven sees Death. "Hello Old Friend."

He reaches a hand towards her. "Again? Will you come with me peacefully?"

"Of course. I chose to die this time."

Death nods knowingly. "Come with me. You are rather late for your time."

Raven smiles. "I'm actually several million years early."

Death chuckles. "Time itself means nothing. Even it will eventually die."

Death leads her towards a path. A path she walked before. Once to save Starfire and another time to find Ezekiel.

Modern Times

Things across the Universe are far more peaceful than before. Krypton was saved as some one, some thing, made the Kryptonians listen to the scientists and stopped them from using their machines. Kal El was never sent to Earth. He never became Superman.

A boy never lost his parents in an alleyway. He never grew up to become a vigilante. Instead he was a billion dollar philanthropist who funded college tuitions, community projects, and others things that helped fight crime.

Another boy grows up with his loving family while performing acrobats in a circus. He would eventually take over as his parents retire and he expands the act.

A Tamaranian girl's family is never split up as the curse placed on her race was never set. Instead, a being came to Tamaran and taught them a new way of being. They could have power, be powerful, but not be evil. They could defend themselves when another race tried to attack.

A young football star is never hurt by a drunk driver. He goes on to college and eventually the pros where he spends a few years backing up one QB or another before getting the chance to start and having a mildly successful career. When he retires he invests his money in to several charities as he and his wife, Sarah Simm, take the kids on fantastic trips.

A young boy doesn't know why he felt the need to move to Jump City.

A young woman doesn't know why she felt the need to move to Jump City.

The young boy doesn't know why he found a certain fan of his so attractive over others.

The young woman doesn't know why this strange but cute and funny green skinned boy attracted her so.

Neither can understand the attraction but when they started dating neither cared.

Azrael was crushed the first chance this new being had. As was the demon Trigon. Even Lucifer was nothing compared with this new being. They had existed for millions of years when Lucifer or Trigon formed.

A demon named Ezekiel however became a sort of apprentice. As long as he behaved he had as much free reign as he could handle.

When Gluttony devours Greed and Lust she captures him and prevent him from eating the other Original Sins. She stops him from becoming The Dealer.

Malchior is defeated by the mighty knight as before but this time the book is taken to a very special room in Hell. The room the new being called home.

Across countless dimensions she controlled as much as she could. Trying to create a peace that could be found no other way.

When a strange energy being rose in one dimension she destroyed it. She would have no idea how much this would change things across all dimensions.

The Being was happy with what they had created. They also felt remorse that the heroes it knew would never be known.

The Being would implant memories of the great heroics of their time in to normal beings. The memories would be recreated in books, shows, and movies. They were fictional stories in the new dimensions. No one would know they were true stories. It had all happened. Except for the Being.

2098

An old man closes his eyes for the last time. His family hold each other and cry as their loved one moved on to the next journey of his life.

The old man is surprised to find himself in a much younger body. Even more surprising was the room he found himself in. "Is this, I, what is this?"

He looks around. He sees books, archaic looking furniture. He also feels the heat. "Am I in Hell?"

The Being appears and lowers the hood of their cloak. "Hello Dick."

He doesn't recognize her. "Who are you? Why am I here?"

"I am an old friend."

"I don't recognize you."

The Being smiles. "We never met in your life we only met in mine." She sees the look of confusion on his face. "You were my first love. It could never have been as I was too weak to control myself."

She walks towards him and places a hand on his face. "Your wife mourns for you. She too will soon pass." She kisses him gently on the lips. "I've waited millions of years to do that."

Dick takes a step back. "Why am I in Hell?"

The Being smirks. "This is just a quick stop. I asked the Judgment to let me see you before you went on to the other side."

"Other side?"

The Being takes a step back. "You are a good soul. It would be selfish of me to keep you here. Besides," She pushes a bit of hair out of her eyes. "Your wife will want you to greet her."

The man, taken aback, takes a seat in a very comfy looking chair. "My wife will die soon?" The Being nods. "What about my kids? Grandkids?"

"Don't worry, they still have many years of joy and happiness ahead of them. They love you and miss you but know you are no longer in pain."

Dick rubs his left hand with the right. "The arthritis is gone. I haven't felt this good in a long time."

"Of course." The Being spreads her arms. "Go Dick and greet her. Make love under the stars while gorging yourselves on chocolate covered strawberries."

Dick stands up from the chair. "How did you know those were her favorite?"

"I know every thing. I'll miss you and love you always. I wanted what was best for you and made sure you got it. I've done the same for some of our other friends. Men and women you never met in this life. Men and women whom I love above all else. I sacrificed myself to make sure you and they would be happy."

Dick sees a tear in her eye. "You died for us? I've never met you."

"No, not this time. Now go." He disappears from the room and Ezekiel appears.

He walks over to her. "You did good. I know you miss him and the others." He reaches a small thin hand out and touches her on the knee as that was as high as he could reach. "Jericho will die soon as well. Will you be so selfless?"

She nods. "I did it for them. I will not keep him here. No matter how badly I want to. He belongs on the Other Side. They all do."

Ezekiel looks to the doorway behind her. "With all of your meddling the deepest pit is almost empty. But a few whom even you couldn't stop. You could take a vacation. Go to Earth. Ulrich is out there some where."

The Being shakes their head. "No. I won't influence him. He has free will and I will not take that away."

"You never needed to take it before. He cared for you until the Time Matrix. He may love you still. Just by being who you are."

They shake their head. "I am not meant to be loved. When he dies, and he will, I'll will greet him before sending him on his way. Just like all the others."

She remembers seeing Cyborg. Not that he had ever been called that now. She hugged him, told him he did all he could to be a hero even with out powers. He had been confused but she sent him on his way.

She remembers seeing Kid Flash. He, being Kid Flash, was interested but she merely laughed, told him she was way out of his league, and sent him on.

When her friends died she would bring them for one last look before sending them to the Other Side. As powerful as she was even she could not go there. Only the pure would be welcomed and she knew she was any thing but.

She was The Being. She defended the deepest part of Hell where the most evil and corrupt were sent. She chose the role herself and knew the consequences. She also know it was what was needed.

She sits in her chair as a black cat jumps up on the arm of the chair. She strokes the cat just behind the ear. "You're all I allow Unique."

The car purrs and rubs itself against her hand. Raven opens a portal and sees Uriel on a cruise ship with her kids, grand kids, and even a couple of great grand kids.

She can't help but smile knowing she created that life. A life that would have been lost to a car accident. A life that would have been corrupted by a demon. Now, that life created more life.

A/N Like I said, I realized I hadn't finished it when I was rereading it. Short, weird, but I wanted this done. I wanted the series finished. Now it is.
