"Are you sure?" a female voice questioned concernedly. "This won't end well. I'm sure of it" her gut instinct was never wrong.

A secondary voice gave a snort and a masculine "Of course, have you no faith?" Arrogance filled his tone even though he, too, had the same feeling.

The young maiden rocked back on her heels, "If you die, I won't ever speak to you again." She knew arguing was futile and simply didn't have the strength to strive for fruitless efforts at the moment. She should have, though. Oh, how she should have.

He returned with a confidant "How long have you known me?" and a smirk upon his handsome features

Translation:

Please be safe.

I will.

She strode forward and embraced him heartily and silently. He would be back, she hoped, and I'll say it then. He wouldn't though, but she couldn't find the voice to say it now. She could only hope and pray for a miracle now.

He placed his colossal hands on her comparatively small, diminutive hips and allowed them to linger; relishing her warmth while he could. He had to leave; even if he didn't want to. And he knew if he let her stay were she was, positioned against him, he wouldn't leave. Still, he couldn't help his lingering, but finally he did. He pushed her away and proceeded to turn his back on her for the last time and stride away.

Please return. Please. You have to, you just have to. I don't think I can make it without you beside me.

I'm sorry.

Hopefully this is eye catching. I'll update soon...I hope. Sorry for the shortness. Thanks for reading, review please, criticism is forever welcome.
