I also have another Pets story where the kids aren't Megatron's children, if you're interested in checking that out, it's called Pets Again. The last two chapters are where the stories changes.

Enjoy and please review.

"Daddy! Daddy don't, please!" Alexis cried as Megatron hold her and her brothers still on a hard berth.

The kids knew this place; it was the place he brought them a couple of times to clean up their memories, to wipe out everything they felt towards their Earth creators.

"Don't you dare, you fragging afthole!" Rad cried more in horror than in dare.

"Yeah, don't you dare! Stupid afthelm!" Carlos followed and Megatron this time took something they couldn't see and seconds later he turned back and sealed their mouths shut.

"Now...that's more like it..." He said turning again and set some codes before something slashed him on his back.

He roared as pain invaded his whole field before falling against the console and once he turned he could see Starscream releasing his creations and hurried them out with him after them.

"NO!" He roared ignoring his pain and hurried after them. "Get back here you pathetic excuse for a mech!" he said making them run faster, but somehow Megatron took hold of him.

"Starscream!" Alexis cried and started after him before he stopped her. "No, g-go! I'll follow soon!"

"No, you won't..." Megatron hissed darkly before, right in front of his sparklings he ripped out the seeker's spark from his chest before crushing it in his now bloody hand.

"No!" The kids cried in horror at the sight of their friend's horrible death. However, without wasting a second, the warlord took his now shaking, crying and stunned sparklings back to that room and fastened the bonds again on them.

"Now...no more interruptions..." he said before shooting the machine at them.

Once the light dissipated he went to see them. "My sparklings..." he caressed their helms before they onlined their optics...their empty optics.

He gave a jump at the sight, this were not his sparklings anymore...but empty shells.

Time passed, and Megatron never found a way of restoring them what they were, it seems that he killed their sparks when he continued doing what he shouldn't have done...

...now he did lost everything...

He looked at their quiet frames and empty optics, unemotional faces and his spark clenched as if dying too...
...

With a loud gasp, Megatron woke up sharply. A pain like nothing invaded his spark and he ran to see his creations, only to find them still sleeping in their caretaker's care.

"Primus..." He sighed. "What was that?" He wondered about the dream... It felt so real...even his anger...and pain afterwards.

...

Hours later...

Megatron paced sadly over the dark corridors directing himself to the control room; this was something he should have done a long time ago.

The kids continued sleeping heavily and they couldn't awaken them no matter how much he shook them.

"My sparks..." He whispered sadly watching them curl against each other in his hands.

Earlier he called their Earth parents and spoke to them about a rendezvous to a certain place. He insisted that they come alone following his complicated instructions...no police, no detectives, a faraway place, etc...and he gave them his word that the kids will be returned without harm.

Near him, Perceptor followed him swiftly. Once they reached the warp gate he directed his gaze towards the combined Minicon. "You have to swear over your sparks that you will protect with your life my creations."

"You don't need to ask, we will, they are our partners and we will protect them with our life," Perceptor assured.

"Good..." Megatron nodded. A sorrowful aura surrounded him.

"We're ready, sir," Starscream said preparing the coordinates of the warp gate and Megatron only nodded in acknowledgement.
...

Meanwhile...
Autobot base...

"Oww...owww...oooooowww!" Jetfire practically cried in pain as Red Alert patched him all in one piece without using a single drop of painkiller. "Red...owwww!"

"No, I've already told you, we're out of painkillers!" The medic barked annoyed.

After they retired from the battlefield practically all the Autobots wanted a piece of Jetfire for what he said about Alexis...even Optimus joined -something never seen before- and all together ganged at the shuttle.

Except Red Alert who was now having his piece of the bad mouthed mech. "Stop moving around!" He barked before hitting the other against the back of his helm.

"Owwww! It hurts!" The other whined.

"You got it deserved for speaking about such sweet femmling like that! Now, take your punishment as a mech!"

"Owww! Ouch! Watch it!" Jetfire cried. "Well...at least we won and got the minicon...how do you don't know that was my plan?"

"Because no one speaks like that about a noble little femmling!" Red Alert roared in the other's unmasked face. "I don't give a slag about the minicons, You. Don't. Speak. About. Any. Of. Those. Sparklings. Like. That!" He pointed each word with a hard and painful -for Jetfire- twitch of his wrench as he sealed his armour back.

"Youch!" Jetfire yelped. "Okay, okay I won't do it again."

"You'd better not," Red Alert said warningly.

"Jetfire, I'm disappointed in you," Optimus told him severely. "I've never seen you act like that before."

"I'm sorry, I got carried away," Jetfire said, throwing up his hands in defence. "I won't do it again, I swear."

Optimus gave him another stern look before receiving a comm that Scavenger was trying to contact him.

"Continue," he told Red Alert as he quickly walked to a video screen. Switching it on, he was greeted by Scavenger's face.

"What's wrong?" he said urgently but to his surprise, Scavenger smiled slightly and said. "Nothing, he's letting them go."

"Letting...them go?" Optimus said in amazement. "The kids?"

"Yes, he's releasing them to their parents," Scavenger told him. "He's managed to transform them back to human form, their true pretenders now."

"I don't believe this," Optimus said quietly. "Has he finally seen sense?"

"It seems so," Scavenger said quietly. "He's prepared to let them go if that makes them happy."

Optimus sat down, he was just so taken aback by the revelation.

"Unbelievable," he murmured before asking. "Scavenger, will...he be alright?"

"Eventually," Scavenger said softly. "Perceptor is accompaning them, I'm hoping that the kids will realise what he's done for them and perhaps forgive him. It'll help him a lot if he can know their happy and don't hate him. Last thing we need is him throwing himself into collecting Minicons or going into a major depression."

Optimus nodded, neither prospect was good.

"Keep me informed," he asked. "I'll try and contact Perceptor at some point."

Scavenger nodded before disconnecting, leaving the Prime sitting there thoughtfully. Megatron was finally trying to do right by his children but what would the consequences be? Just how would the kids parents react when they discovered just what had happened to their beloved children?

Megatron really complicated the things by doing what he wished without asking anyone how they felt towards it.

A thought crossed Optimus' processor... Megatron is in need of a femme to tell him what to do...a loving mate to control his feelings...

...but he was very much unwilling to take another...
...

Meanwhile...

Sideways looked how Megatron warped away with his sparklings to meet their Earth creators and he didn't liked that one bit.

"He's giving them away for...for love...," He said hatefully. "I think I will need to take care of that again...they cannot be away from him...they must hate him!"

Near him, Thrust scowled under his mask. "I think you already did enough... Our Master will be very disappointed in you."

"I did more than what you did! I made sure they didn't forgive him...their hate towards him still lives thanks to me!" The bicycle snarled before calming again. "Besides... The three weapons were reunited again...we need them for our lord."

"But the Decepticons only have one...while the Autobots have two! ...unless you give them to them...you think you can do that?" Thrust started as if teasing the other of being incapable of filling such task.

"You lost it first!" Sideways barked. "You allowed yourself to be distracted by the pathetic spectacle that fraging shuttle made and lost the most powerful weapon of the three!"

Thrust grunted and turned his gaze to the side...he was right. "Maybe, but now we must get them!"

"Quite an observant you are..." The other said sarcastically. "It seems I will have to take care of it all...again." Thrust could practically hear the unsaid word 'useless' that was directed at him and scowled.

"I have a plan too so Megatron himself will have to retrieve the weapons with his own hands while ours will remain clean," Thrust suddenly said as a plan formed in his processor.

"I'm listening..." Sideways said, almost interested.
...

Megatron landed a few minutes later in the location he arranged with the humans, a faraway and nice forest... and looked sadly at his still sleeping creations.

Sighing sadly, he sat against a big rock and set them against his spark before hearing noises comming near...it was them, he knew...he can feel it.

Without thinking about it he transformed into his tank mode, his creations, inside him.

He wanted a moment with them before the humans arrived.

"Children," he said softly. "Wake up."

He used the air conditioning system to fill his compartment with cool air, helping to wake them up.

"Hmm, Megatron?" Alexis asked, rubbing her face before coming into contact with hair. "What?"

She gripped the hair before staring at her own hand, it was a human hand. Beside her, the boys were also waking up and discovering for themselves what had happened.

"We're human again," Rad exclaimed joyfully. "I don't believe this."

"Believe it," came Megatron's voice. "And your creators are coming for you."

"You serious dude?" Carlos said in disbelief, checking his features. "You changed us back into humans and now you're letting us go?"

"Yes," Megatron said sadly. "I know it's what you want so I'm giving it to you. I'm sorry I can't do more."

"What do you mean?" asked Ras, hardly able to believe this was actually happening. Megatron couldn't really be letting them go...could he?

"You're not human in the same way you were before," Megatron explained. "With help, you'll be able to become transformers again and that will never change. But for now, you can stay human for as long as you want."

They were silent, everything was happening so fast that they didn't know what to think.

"They're here," Megatron said suddenly. "On you go."

A hatch above them opened, so that they could climb out. Megatron watched as the humans approached them, by the looks of things, that Detective was with him. He didn't really care; he could warp away from here any time.

"Where are they?" David Carling demanded, eyeing the tank as the others gathered around him. There was a pause and then a head popped out, blinking in the sunshine before focusing on them.

"Mom, dad!" Rad cried, pulling himself out and scrambling down to them.

"Rad," his parents cried out joyfully and they rushed towards him as Carlos and then Alexis both climbed out and went for their parents.

Carling smiled, this Megatron had actually kept his word. However, he still had a lot of questions.

"Are you going to come out?" he asked the tank. "I just want to talk," he added.

"You want to see me?" a deep voice rumbled and oddly, it didn't seem to be coming from inside the tank.

"I would like that very much," Carling replied as the reunited families hugged and cried.

"Then you'd better prepare yourself for a little shock, human," was the reply.

"What do you...?" Carling started to say in confusion but was silenced by the sound of a transformation.

Everyone's wide eyes were fixed on the now moving tank...or better said, transforming tank!

"Oh God!" One of the women said in terror before a tall and huge robot man appeared in front of them.

Detective Carling stood there frozen processing everything that his eyes told him it was happening...everything was so...weird... "Come on, come out of the robot too!" He finally managed to say.

The men wondered just who this man was and how the hell those kids caught his attentions since he seemed to be very powerful as he possessed such technology that he'd only seen in movies or cartoons.

The tall robot looked down at him and frowned...and Carling knew somehow that this was more than just a vehicle.

"Megatron! Do not scare our parents!" Alexis said to the robot and that is when it hit Carling...

'Could it be...?' Was the question that run freely over his mind at the seconds passed making it like some kind of mantra.

"You have my word I won't, sweetspark." The robot said and almost every human in there almost pee in their pants...or skirts.

"You...you...youyouyouyouyouyouare...areareareare..." Carling stuttered and babbled no sense.

Megatron rolled his optics for once not enjoying someone else's fear towards him. "A mech...a Cybertronian, from planet Cybertron," He stated as the older humans hugged his creations tighter...HIS creations...a sad longing look could be devised in those crimson optics.

"And he's older than he looks like..." Carlos said matter-of-factly.

"I am handling you my creations," Megatron started pointing at them. "You may have brought them into this world, but they were mine first a long time ago...however, they are happier with you...so you will be looking after them until the day they decide to return to me again."

"An alien!" Finally Carling shouted and all the looks directed towards him.

"Duh! Why you think we couldn't say anything or why he never showed himself before?" Carlos once again pointed out.

"Or why you could never find us..." Rad stated sadly. Him, more than any of the others wanted to return his real home, to his life, the life he knew...hell! He even missed school!

"What do you want in our planet? Is this an invasion?" Rad's father finally spoke.

"No, I came here for other very much different reasons that has nothing to do with your or your lifestyle. You don't need to worry," Megatron stated still looking at his creations and could feel his spark breaking seeing them in other people's arms...away from him.

"May I ask...what happened with your children?" One of the women said, the one holding Alexis.

"I've lost them, but now I've found them again and that's what it matters...besides, I want the kids to keep this," He said and from behind him three smaller bots came and hurried towards each one of the children.

"Highwire!"

"Grindor!"

"Sureshock!"

The three said and hugged the little robots under the shocked gazes of the human adults.

"This is proof enough that they are mine...their minicon partners, their guardians," Megatron declared softly. Oh, how he wished they will receive him with the same joy and enthusiasm.

"Wha-what are those things?!" Carling shouted and Megatron responded.

"Minicons...the reason I came here...to colect them all and return them to our planet."

"What?! And how did they get in here in the first place?!" The man who asked was the one who held Carlos before.

"On a ship, four million years ago," Megatron stated. "They lay dormant all that time until the children accidentally activated them. I along with some others realised what had happened and came looking for them."

"Is that why you took our kids?" Alexis's mother asked. "Because they stumbled upon those...little robots."

"In a way," Megatron said slowly. "They tried to prevent us from taking the Minicons so I captured them and decided to keep them as pets. It is not easy finding Minicons and I thought they would entertain me and my men while we searched."

The parents looked somewhat offended but Carling was the one that spoke.

"But that...changed didn't he?" he managed to ask, he was still very taken aback by what he was seeing.

"It did," Megatron admitted. "My men and I grew attached to them, despite the fact we were often strict with them, the children still remained upbeat. It impressed me and I did not feel inclined to let them go. Then through a series of events I will not go into, I discovered that they were mine. Naturally, I wanted them to stay with me permanently but I realise now that's not the best thing for them. So I'm entrusting them to you, their human creators."

The adults were all rather dumbfounded at this, they looked like they had a million questions racing through their minds but were still a too shocked to put voice to them. Swallowing heavily, Carling managed to say.

"Can I ask...why wouldn't you let us see them the last time you called?"

It was something that had bothered the detective and he wanted an answer while he had the chance.

There was a pause and then Megatron said.

"Because I had changed them into Cybertronians...robots."

"You did what?" shrieked several of the parents and they started feverishly examining their children.

"But you changed us back?" Rad said hastily as his mother run her hands over his head. "Right?"

Megatron sighed, they were unlikely to like this next bit.

"Transformers like myself have a life force known as a Spark, it is an orb of energy. For an experiment, I changed the children into Minicons but that change was only temporary. However, I installed the sparkling orbs of my children into their bodies before they were changed back into humans. This caused them to change from humans into transformers but they unknowingly retained the ability to become human again as you can see. But if they chose to, they can become Cybertronains again. I'm afraid this cannot be changed, they will never been fully human again."

They all stared in horror at them and he wished that it wasn't so. But they deserved the truth and he was going to give it to them.

"But...they're not really your children are they?" Carlos's dad asked pleadingly. "You just used just changed them into robots."

"No, they are my children," Megatron said firmly. "Reincarnated into different bodies but mine nonetheless. I performed a test to confirm it before I inserted those orbs into their bodies. The children can tell you more about it."

The kids hugged their parents tightly; it was still hard to believe that they would never be fully human again. They were tied to the Transformer world whether they liked it or not. But at least Megatron was letting them go, allowing them to be part of the human world again, however long that might be.

"If you need me," Megatron said, sounding almost hesitant. "You know how to contact me."

"Megatron," Alexis said softly before he could go. "Thank you."

The boys nodded their agreement.

"We still eat and stuff like normal humans," Carlos asked a little thickly.

"Yes," Megatron said with a nod. "Just act like you did before, you'll be fine. If you do want to become transformers again, call me or Prime. I'm sure he'll be happy to help."

"Prime? Who's prime?" Carling said and Megatron started walking away. "A friend." he said before activating his warping program. He didn't wanted to look back at his beloved sparklings, didn't wanted to look how he leaved them behind so they will be happy...it hurt him right in the core.

To say goodbye was too much.

"A friend?" The detective started before the big alien robot disappeared right in front of his optics.

"What the hell was that?!" The man said before turning to the kids, their parents and their...little robot friends?

"Uh...well...is a long story..." Rad started scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah, you don't wanna hear it, right?" Carlos added.

"You better start, young man." His father replied and the three kids flinched.
...

Decepticon moon base...

Megatron returned the base but walked away without recognizing anyone. He didn't wanted to anyways.

The mechs looked at him with different levels of sadness, particularly Starscream, he will miss his charge greatly, she was the only one who he could talk without joking and he considered her one of his dearest friends.

"How's he?" Scavenger asked Wheeljack since he thought the red seeker wasn't in a good mood to speak either, just look at his wings!

"He didn't say anything but headed to his quarters, maybe he wants to be alone," the former Autobot said.

Scavenger grimaced. That is how depression starts. It seemed Megatron took that path instead of going for a rampage for the minicons.

"We need to look after him more than ever," the eldest said and Wheeljack nodded.

"And perhaps after Starscream too," The race car pointed out noticing the seeker's grim aura.

Meanwhile Thrust looked at the scene; it was too early to start with his plan, if he ever comes near Megatron now, the leader in depression will beat him to slag.

Well...he will wait...for now.

"Starscream?" Scavenger put a hand on the seeker's shoulder. "Are you okay?" What a stupid question, he thought at the moment.

"Yes, I am... Scavenger?"

"Yes, kid?"

"Would you like to train me as you did with Prime?" Starscream asked.

"Sure," The elder smiled softly.

Earth

"I hardly know where to begin," Carling murmured as they sat near the cars they'd brought. After Megatron had disappeared, the detective had led them all back to a clearing where they'd parked their vehicles. "All this time, you've been prisoners of alien robots."

"Yeah," Rad agreed as he ate a sandwich his mom had insisted he eat. They'd all brought along food for their children, not trusting Megatron to have fed them properly. "Crazy right?"

"A little," Carling agreed wryly. "Can you tell us where he hid you? He teleported out of there so I know it could have been anywhere on the planet."

The kids glanced at each other before Carlos said.

"It wasn't on the planet dude. He had us stashed away on the moon."

"The moon?" his dad yelped as the other parents stared. "But...how did you breathe?"

"With these?" Alexis said, touching the black collar around her neck, it was still there. "We were protected from the moon's atmosphere inside their base and this collar gave us oxygen and warmth."

"It's horrible," her mother whispered. "Can you get rid of it?"

"Uh...Sureshock?" Alexis turned to her Minicon who nodded and beeped.

"Good," Alexis sighed in relief as her Minicon reached forward and removed it. Highwire and Grindor quickly did the same for their humans.

"Can you understand them?" Rad's dad asked.

"Yeah, ever since we found them," Rad said with a smile. "That was amazing."

"Why did Megatron kidnap you for finding them?" Carling now asked. "They sound like some sort of refugees, do they not want to go back to their planet?"

"They do but it's complicated," Alexis explained. "Cybertron is in the middle of a civil war and the Minicons were caught in the middle. Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons and they want the Minicons to use as weapons against the Autobots. If a Minicon combines with a transformer, they give them extra power."

"Damn," Carling muttered, that sounded complicated.

It was more complicated than he could ever imagine. The kids shared a look.

"Well... Their war has their own story that starts millions of years ago." Rad started.

The kids told them everything they could from the war, their culture and even relationships...obviously censoring the reproductive parts that Alexis knew in way too much detail.

The adults were stunned not really processing it all. It was just so strange everything.

"Damn! I can't wait to go back home and take a warm shower and then eat my eyes out before watching TV all day!" Carlos said suddenly as they reached their home.

"I even miss school." Alexis said longingly. "Or walking in the malls...and shop...I even miss my period."

"Ewww! Alexis, don't!" Both boys said in disgust taking their tongues out before the mothers freaked out...particularly her own mother.

"What?! You...you...you don't have your period anymore?!" she shrieked in panic.

"Mom, is no big deal... I'm a... Transformer now and they don't have periods... Boys, I was joking, I don't miss the pains."

"No big deal?! No BIG DEAL?!" Her mother screamed before taking her in arms and hugged her tight. "Now I will never be a grandmother!" She cried.

"Mom, mom, calm down!" Alexis tried. "You will become a grandmother as long as I find a nice mech to have...uhh...sparklings with."

"Me...mech? ...spark...? What?" Her parents both said at the same time.

Somehow Carling started feeling rather awkward now.

"Are you going to tell me that your 'members' are useless too?" Carlos' father asked rather obfuscated and a little angry too that his son will not make him a grandfather either.

Both boys looked at each other worried and frowned at Alexis because she introduced the matter.

"Uhh... No sir..." Rad started flushing in embarrassment at the need of explaining such thing. "Uhhh... We need to develop before that and then find a suitable mate...a Cybertronian female."

"A robot?!" Rad's mother exclaimed horrified. "My son will not be marrying with any robot-lady!"

Rad bit his lip in embarrassment and his face was tomato red, a little bit more and he would be glowing like a red light bulb.

"So...your bodies won't work like normal human ones?" Rad's father asked, looking a little sick.

"We don't really know but...we probably can't have human kids," Rad mumbled, feeling even worse. "I'm not sure how we could find out for certain."

Their parents didn't look happy at this and Alexis's mother now said.

"If that...Megatron was only a little smaller, I'd slap him silly for messing with our kids bodies. He had no right to do that."

"He's not always good at thinking of consequences," Alexis told her mother sadly. "We're just lucky he finally realised that he couldn't shut you out of our lives."

"But he still expects you to return to him someday," Alexis's father pointed out grimly.

"He can forget it," Carlos said mulishly. "I'd rather join the Autobots."

"You're not joining any war," his dad cut in but before an argument could break out, Carling spoke.

"Hey, there's something more important we've got to talk about."

As everyone looked at him, he said.

"When we get back, everyone's gonna want answers. How held these kids, where were they held, why were they held, why were they let go. And I don't think I need to say that we can't tell them it was a giant alien robot who thinks they're his reincarnated children."

They all froze, none of them had thought about that.

"Do these robots want to take over Earth?" Carling asked the kids seriously.

"No, they just want the Minicons," Rad told him firmly. "It wouldn't matter to them what planet they were on, they just want them. They've been keeping themselves hidden because they don't want to get bothered by our governments. Once they've got all the Minicons, they're gonna leave and go back to Cybertron."

He nodded but still said.

"I believe you...but our governments and the media won't. We've been treated to one too many War of the World type movies. I want you kids to get your lives back on track, as much as possible but I don't know if you will if people find out about this."

"So... What are we going to say?" Rad started. "That we were kidnapped by a crazy old men that thought we were his missing children?"

"Or that some Narco kidnapped us?" Carlos added.

Carling almost jumped at that recognizing the term. "No, that would be a bad idea; if D.E.A. ever hears about that they will not leave you alone and will interrogate you until they get answers; without adding the fact that they will practically take you away from your lives definitely and possibly relocate you in witness protection program...and believe me, that's no life."

"Jeez...that sucks... Then...what you suggest us to say?" The dark skinned boy said sadly.

"Probably it will be better if we create a story now and all agree to it; however, when they interrogate you they will separate you in different rooms to see if your stories match. So, we must be very careful while picking and telling the story." The detective said and added. "They will know if you lie, by the way and will be looking for any reaction your body produces such as an involuntary shake, the way you move your hands, eyes, the time you take into answering any question and even the way you breathe... Or even how you take what they offer you, means water, some juice, etc.

In short, you must be sure and answer right away or they will know you lie and will push out the answer from you." He finished with the now horrified looking kids and turned to their parents. "I also suggest you to get a lawyer, they might be victims but are also witnesses and that will they use to get them into their power for as long as they can. You can point out that they are children and cannot be interrogated alone or that they need to rest. But I can guarantee you that they won't give up until they get some answers even if they don't have any proofs that you can be jailed."

"A lawyer?! Jailed?!" Rad's father yelled. "But...but they are...victims!"

"I know, is what I've said. Witnesses first, victims later, their answers first, your peace later."

For a moment Alexis thought that it would have been easier to stay with Megatron before remembering that it was his fault that they were in this situation from start! "Megatron...he really ruined our lives here..." She hissed.

"Is like we were the criminals now..." Rad whispered sadly and very disappointed in the system and their methods.

"We'll figure something out," Carling assured them. "I won't allow you kids to be molested like this."

"What do you think would be the best story to tell?" Rad's father asked, they trusted the detective, he'd been a huge help during the search for their kids.

Carling thought about it, stroking his unshaved chin as he did so.

"I think...," he said slowly. "The best thing to do would be to build on what the public already know. You were kidnapped by a group and it was clear their leader was the one insisting that you stay. There's also that time you were allowed out, by one of his men without his knowledge. The media has speculated several theories but most agree that the leader...Megatron...appeared to be extremely possess of you. I'd like to quash once and for all any suggestion that it was for sexual gratification so I think we should reveal that he wished to adopt you. Children are kidnapped all the time for this very reason, it will help explain a lot of things and would be better than saying he wanted...pets."

Everyone winced, that would really be taken the wrong way.

"We don't have to go back straight away," Carlos's mother spoke up. "We brought food for everyone, we can have a picnic."

They all agreed, no one felt like going back yet. As they sat down with a couple of large containers containing food and cool drinks, Carling brought out a notebook and started writing down what they didn't want the everyone to know but what was acceptable.

"When we get back to town," he said as they ate. "There's going to be a press conference, this is big news that you've been found safe and sound. I want to give a brief statement that covers the main points so it doesn't feel like we're trying to cover anything."

They nodded; they wanted to satisfy people so that they'd leave them alone quicker. And hopefully, it would work.

Two hours later

News report

The Portland trio who were kidnapped back in June have been released by their captors and have been reunited with their parents at long last. The captors arranged a location with the parents and dropped the kids off there but there have been no arrests as of yet. The police's liaison in this case, Detective David Carling released a statement.

"Alexis, Rad and Carlos are safe and sound with their parents. They have been separated for a long time and we would ask the families be left in peace to get their lives back together after this difficult time. But based on what the children have been able to tell us so far, it seems their main kidnapper had recently lost some children and impulsively decided to replace them with our trio. They were constantly on the move with this man and his family and always guarded except for a single occasion when the youngest son felt sorry for them and allowed them a day out."

"So far, they know nothing about their captor or where he came from, nor even his name as they had to address him as 'father' and his sons addressed him like. However he was known by the designation of 'Megatron' in a few times they heard others, they couldn't recognize call him." The detective continued.

"The children were released after almost a year of their kidnapping because in their declarations they said they hated him and somehow the man couldn't recognize them as his children anymore and practically ignored them. Once again the youngest son of this man, a man under the pseudonym of 'Starscream' helped them away from his father and released them in the forest because they were going to travel again to another unknown and far location.

The kids cannot provide us with their location or the activities these men did i order to survive, everything we got is that they were never allowed out from the house they lived and that when the younger son 'Starscream' released them, he made sure to put bags on their heads so they couldn't track them down again before they escape the house they were currently living on.

All I can say is that we are happy to have this kids back with their families and our community and the police reserves their declarations of how they lived with this man's family..."

...

Meanwhile...

Decepticon moon base...

Starscream's right optic twitched in discomfort as he watched and heard the news regarding the children...

'The youngest son?!' the red seeker thought angrily as Thrust giggled and the other mechs stood and looked around awkwardly.

According to the kids' statement they were all Megatron's sons... that includes Scavenger who was by far the oldest mech in the base... older than Megatron as well. However the eldest only seemed a little amused at that.

Megatron seemed to be disturbed as well hearing now one of the news reporter call him a severely disturbed, old and manipulative man. Frag them all to the pit! What were this humans telling about him?! They know nothing!

He was about to outburst into a rage when he noticed the twitching wings of his Second and smirked evilly, The leader was about to let out his anger and sorrow in form of shootings and beatings... but there were other more satisfying ways to get rid of it... especially since it was him who destroyed all his high grade, poisoned or not.

The smirking leader of the Decepticons walked towards his seeker and put a hand against his shoulder and said seeker flinched feeling the heavy hand on him.

"Yes, Megatron?" Starscream tried to sound unaffected by everything he just heard only to meet the smirking face of his leader.

"Why, Starscream, I only wish to spend some quality time with my youngest and virgin son..." Megatron purred every last word and his smirk turned into a grin as he felt the frame under him tremble harder in perhaps many feelings at the same time.

It didn't helped either that Thrust and Cyclonus were laughing their afts off at that statement only fuelling the seeker's fury further... or Demolisher's and Wheeljack's failed attempt to hold back their laughs.

"You fragger!" Starscream jumped him but Megatron easily dodged him with a wide grin. He really knew how to push his buttons.

"Now, Starscream, that is not the way a little virgin speaks to his sire." He purred dodging another blow to his face.

Scavenger sighed and shook his head... It was obvious what Megatron was doing, he wanted to vent it all and for that purpose he was fuelling this yougling's ire so the other could forget about common sense and fight the old fragger...and Starscream just fell on his trap like a fly on a spider's web.

"I feel so young," Scavenger murmured, he never thought he'd be mistaken for Megatorn's son. He understood that the humans had had to come up with a plausible explanation for the children's disappearance that did not involve giant robots. He really pitied them actually, their lives were never going to be the same ever again.

"Ha, ha, youngest son," Cyclonus cackled. "Hey, maybe they think he's just older than those kids, ha, ha."

Wheeljack was smiling, he couldn't help himself. He'd been shocked by the whole 'son' thing but the news report was pretty funny, especially when you knew the real story. It was strange now that the kids were gone but at least Lord Megatron didn't seem so depressed as before.

"Megatron," Scavenger said loudly as Megatron grabbed Starscream's face, making it very difficult for the young Seeker to punch him.

"What?" Megatron demanded.

"You know the kids weren't trying to say anything hurtful," he said carefully as Megatron stared at him. "Their parents needed to explain away where they've been without revealing the truth about us. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people question them about what happened but this story will probably die down and the children can get their lives back."

This made Megatron freeze before he let go of Starscream who staggered back with a scowl. The Decepticon leader looked thoughtful as he turned and marched away, leaving his Decepticons watching him go.

"Get their lives back?" Megatron said softly to himself as he walked through the corridors. "Without me."

He'd stolen them from their lives, with their Earth parents and everything they'd ever known. They'd wanted so much to go home and would surely be happier but...had he messed things up too badly for them ever to be truly happy again? He didn't know and that made him even more depressed than ever.

Starscream watched his leader's back and depressed aura as he walked away and scowled; wings twitching angrily.

"Too bad 'father' left you, the 'youngest son' behind..." Thrust purred against the red seeker's audio. "You could-"

It was so fast the movement Starscream made that no one saw it until Thrust was crying around with his aft on the floor and his hands against his face. "You bastard!" He mumbled with tearful optics as the back punch he received transpased his facemask.

"Tsk!" Starscream said angrily before walking away too.

Author's note. The kids are now back with their parents but all is not as good as it should be. Find out why next time, until then.
