A/N: A poem a friend of mine and I worked on together. Some of it is from Will's pov, and some in the third person. Enjoy =)

"Memory's a poor thing to have"

I say through her sobs

But memory's all we can save,

it's all that we've got

I'll find you in the shadow of the sleeping trees

I'll find you in the rolling meadows; in the fields

I'll find you where the rivers run shallow and black

We'll fly ahead, we won't look back

The air itself comes between you and I

All that's left is to say goodbye

My breathing ragged, her vision blurred

We cannot speak the taboo word.

Lips trembling, I cannot say

My final words before I go away.

I'll find you in the shadow of the sleeping trees

I'll find you in the rolling meadows; in the fields

I'll find you where the rivers run shallow and black

We'll fly ahead, we won't look back

Every atom of you, every atom of me

Locked together for eternity

Every time I feel I've lost my mind

Your presence I can't seem to find

I go to our garden, our secret place

I can see our names engraved; I can see your smiling face

I'll find you in the shadow of the sleeping trees

I'll find you in the rolling meadows; in the fields

I'll find you where the rivers run shallow and black

We'll fly ahead, we won't look back

Years from now when I'm old and gray

Shriveled up and worn away

Ill walk with pride into the light

Remembering you; what a beautiful sight

I smile and think of what comes next

Reunion lies beyond the harpy's nest

I'll find you…
