I wasn't really planning on posting this, but I got such FANTASTIC words. I mean, come on. Royalty? Encore? Spiritual? Some of them are more than one sentence, but they fit together.
Royalty
Quinn was a good student, but she stuck to SparkNotes when it came to the story of Lancelot and Guinevere.
Spotty
They weren't on the same frequencies- Puck was classic rock, and she was Christian soul.
Curdle
Puck was too badass for words like that, but the look Quinn shot him could have turned milk into some serious shit.
Grin
She smirked, he sneered- how was this baby ever going to learn to smile?
Dryer
The first night, Quinn fell asleep hunched against the Hudson's dryer, the humming and shaking lulling her to sleep (Mrs. Hudson would find the bed still perfectly made, unslept in).
Encore
She keeps going back to him, like she wants a repeat performance of how he's ruining her life.
Midst
In the crowded hallway, she never notices Finns head swaying above all the others- she saw his Mohawk slinking along behind.
Parable (The prodigal son- the child who has gone astray and is welcomed home despite his errors)
When she returned home, she wasn't welcomed with the slaying of the fatted calf- her father called her a harlot and threatened to call the police.
Earliness
She always told him to come twenty minutes early so he'd be on time; his lateness had become reliable.
Wintery
She was an expert at the cold shoulder, but he could always thaw her out.
Sudden
It wasn't love at first sight, not for either of them.
Waking
It was her first hangover; it was his 23rd.
Refresh
The page loaded, the inbox stayed at zero, the walls around her heart got thicker.
Emerging
Glee club pulled her out of her cocoon, literally (those uniforms! it was like a cartoon character, never changing).
Tonight
"Tonight, you can call me Noah," he smirked over his wine cooler.
Around
He was always there, hanging out, watching her when she didn't notice him.
Wiring
Sometimes she thought she was missing that essential component that allowed her to love unconditionally.
Freezing
"I'm sorry for trying to help, Ice Queen."
Shelve
She put her feelings aside so that she could make it through the day without combusting.
Refused
"No, I don't want latkes Puck. I may be pregnant but I will NOT be fat."
Mildly
She didn't think she was harsh, just…. firm (a nicer way of putting it).
Brother
She was furious that he canceled their date until she showed up to confront him and saw him singing to his sick sister.
Touching
He remembered longing to touch her hair in kindergarten- he thought it looked like gold rainbows.
Spiritual
She still had faith, through everything: faith in God, in life, and (for reasons beyond either of them) faith in him.
