Warning: Hints at a homosexual relationship being shared between Holmes and Watson.

Rating: T

Martha Hudson is not a stupid woman. Nor is she a blind one either.

And it didn't take much inquiring in the first place to notice the "secret" relationship that was happening between the good doctor and the detective,

In fact, it was a shock to the elderly lady that the pair hadn't already been found out by anyone else. What with their lust-filled stares, unnecessary touches, and the possessiveness the two shared over each other it was a true wonder how they were avoiding the hands of the police.

Clearly the relationship has been ongoing for quite some time by this point and if it was taking the rest of the world this long to slowly piece together the pieces of this giant puzzle it was most likely that they would remain unseen for many more years… Unless there was somebody who was to tell the police of them.

But Mrs. Hudson could never be that somebody. She couldn't ruin the ruin her tenant's respected reputations over it. The pair had somehow snaked their way into her heart and because of that she could never hand them over to the police. Seeing the sight of them being carried off jail would surely break her old heart.

It wasn't as though she approved of this type of relationship- no, no, no! Heavens no! The things occurring between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were things that should only happen between husband and wife.

The thing that kept her disapproving mouth shut though was how strangely the couple actually fit together, save the fact that they were both males.

Polar opposites they could be at times, but was that that made it all work.

Where one lacked in skill the other was sure to up for it.

Two sides of the same coin, a double-edged sword- that was what the pair was.

Despite their differences the two acted like a married couple (they even had the bickering down to a T). They teased one another, fought crime side-by-side, laughed together, ate together, cared for each other… If one of the two had been a female instead the relationship would have been ideal.

But that wasn't so.

They were both males and, despite the law, deeply in love with the other.

So leaving out the option (if you could ever even consider it one) of throwing them to the police, there was really only one thing more Mrs. Hudson could do about this forbidden romance: worry and wish that they would stop making it so bloody obvious in the years to come!

Author's Note: This was just a silly drabble that views Mrs. Hudson's opinion on the slashier version of the relationship between Holmes and Watson. The idea was based off a fan fiction I read a few weeks ago and I really wanted to write something that included Mrs. Hudson… (: The ending was a bit awkward and I might change it up later on... If enough people wish for it I might actually write a second version of this about Mrs. Hudson's views on the FRIENDSHIP shared between her tenants. But for now: send me a review and tell me what you thought or if you caught any mistakes in my writing.

Thanks for reading!
