Lots of reviews. I'm pretty happy about that. Thank you everyone for your opinions on this. Without all of you, I would be so lost on this baby thing. I don't know why I threw a baby in, to be perfectly honest. I just did. O_O

Well enjoy the new chapter! Hope I didn't leave you hanging as long as I did last time! ^^

Disclaimer: I only own Kagome's baby, no one from Inuyasha or Bleach. I'm just borrowing them for my own personal amusement.

"And just who are you calling Pet-sama, Nnoitra-kun?" Kagome asked, arms crossed over her chest as she tapped her foot on the ground.

Nnoitra grinned. "Aizen had Ulquiorra bring in that girl from the realm of the living," he explained. "That one with the barrier that heals and shit like that. Ulquiorra's her warden. It's just fun to tease him."

"Barriers?" Kagome whispered. "Orihime? When did she get here?"

"A little while ago," Tesla replied this time. "When Aizen sent out a small group to Karakura Town."

"That group Grimmjow was with?"

"Yes."

Kagome let out a low sigh. "Wonder why he didn't tell me about Orihime coming here," she said lowly.

"He probably didn't know," Nnoitra supplied with a shrug of his shoulders. "From what I got, getting Pet-sama was a special mission for Ulquiorra." He then grinned. "Hey, maybe he'll finally get laid!"

"Nnoitra!"

Grimmjow grinned as Shippo had his mock-fight with Lillinette, both of them tumbling in the sand. Stark laid next to him, somewhere between awake and asleep.

"He's got some energy," Stark commented as he watch the two play.

"Should have seen him in a real fight," Grimmjow stated quite proudly. "He may have been scared, but he always did what he could."

Stark nodded once in acknowledgement. "He'll be a great warrior in the future."

Lillinette and Shippo finally split up, both with grins on their faces, before each ran to their own Espada father figure. "Good wrestle, cub?" Grimmjow asked as he got to his feet, Shippo on his shoulder. Stark remained where he was with Lillinette next to him.

"Yeah!" the kitsune happily replied. "Lillinette is really nice and lots of fun!" Grimmjow chuckled as they entered the building. "Hey, Grimmjow? Why do you follow that scary looking guy?"

A slight scoff escaped him. "Not by full choice, kit. Just do your best to stay away from him. And do me a favor. If he asked you if you want to see his zanpakutou, tell him no and run to your mother. I don't know her as well as you do, but I realized early on that she can be a scary woman real quick."

Shippo laughed gently. "Yeah, okaa-san can be really scary when she's protecting someone she loves. But what would happen if I see his zanpakutou?"

Grimmjow shook his head. "I don't really remember what he did, but it's like he put some kind of collar around us. We can break through once in a while and make some of our own decisions, but it just isn't freedom. You understand?"

The young demon nodded. "I think so. Did you tell okaa-san about his zanpakutou?"

He let out a short laugh. "Yeah, I did, but I don't think she'll let Aizen near enough or pay him enough attention to do whatever it is he does."

"And if he finds out about the Jewel?" Shippo whispered lowly.

Grimmjow's eyes narrowed. "He'll try something and I will tear him apart if he hurts Kagome, you, or the cub."

"Then shouldn't you be keeping an eye on okaa-san?"

"Someone has an eye on her at all times, mainly Szayel. He's got cameras everywhere. Hell, right now, she's probably gone to visit that human girl."

"What human girl?"

"Knock, knock!" Kagome called as she opened the door, seeing both Orihime and Ulquiorra in the room. Ulquiorra looked impassive as always, while Orihime went from glaring at the Espada to looking at Kagome in shock. "Hey, there you are, Ulquiorra! I wanted to ask you something, but it looks like you're busy."

"Is there something you needed, Kagome?" Ulquiorra asked, noticing the human girl staring at the miko like she could not understand the situation.

"Yeah, something that will reach Nnoitra's spoon head and let me smack him a couple times. He's being a pervert again."

"Not to you, I hope."

"I would purify his ass into the next millenium and if there's anything left, Grimmjow would kill him. So no."

"Then ask Szayel, he always has something for such purpose."

"Thanks! Hey, what's Orihime doing here?"

"Aizen-sama asked for her retrieval. He believes her powers will be a valuable asset."

Kagome snorted slightly. "Aizen can go choke on a dick."

Orihime's jaw dropped.

"You are spending too much time around Grimmjow."

"Yeah, isn't it fun?"

Ulquiorra sighed then shook his head. "Very well. What did you get into?"

"Nothing, I was just running around then I met some guy with silver hair. His eyes were closed. How can he see with closed eyes? I don't know! Anyway, he gave me a little something and then Nnoitra said something about you and this 'Pet-sama', who I quickly found out is Orihime, and that is when I went looking for something to hit him with. Though by now, I would have to hunt him down. By the way, have you seem Grimmjow or Shippo?"

"First rule of Los Noches: never accept anything from Gin."

"He's named after an alcoholic drink?"

"Kagome, please focus. What did he give you?"

"Pocky. Blueberry pocky."

The Cuatro resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Never accept anything from Gin."

"Deal! Hey, is it cool if I hang out here with Orihime for a while? I'll stay out of trouble. Promise!"

Ulquiorra just walked by her with hands in his pockets. "I see no problem with such a situation. Make sure she eats."

"Alright! Later, Ulquiorra!" The door closed behind him before Kagome looked right at Orihime and smiled. "He's a bit cold and distant, but once you're used to him and him to you, he's an alright guy."

Orihime placed her left hand on her right arm, rubbing the upper half. "You seem comfortable here," she observed. "I mean, you just acted like you know him so well."

"Not as well as I would hope," Kagome chuckled, sitting on the bed. She patted the spot next to her, which Orihime took as well. "Remember when I told you guys about my days travelling in the past?" At the other girl's nod, she continued. "I knew Ulquiorra back then, before he died and became what he is now. I knew Nnoitra, who I hope you don't encounter too often, Tesla, Nel, Szayel, and Grimmjow. Had a brief meeting with Lillinette and have only heard of Stark. I guess because they're familiar, I just feel more comfortable around them."

"But they're our enemies," Orihime pointed out.

"Says who?" Kagome asked, kicking her legs gently. "Naraku was our enemy, so we assumed all his incarnations were as well. But you know what we found out later? One of his incarnations hated him and would have run away if he didn't have her heart."

"You mean she was in love with him?" the girl asked in shock.

Kagome shook her head. "I meant in the literal sense. Her heart wasn't in her body, he kept it. And whenever she did something he didn't like, he would squeeze it just to remind her how easily he can kill her. Another of his incarnations didn't really have a choice. She was like a ten-year-old girl version of Ulquiorra, only Kanna had no emotions whatsoever, not even curiosity, and did everything she was told. I don't know how to really explain her." She shook her head again. "Anyway, my point is that just because they follow Aizen, does that really mean they're all your enemies? I already know a few guys here. I know they are not my enemies, and deep down or right on the surface, they hate Aizen. They hate following him. They hate his ideals and his plans. They just hate him."

"How can you be so sure?" Orihime whispered in uncertainty.

"Because they are my friends, and they said so," Kagome giggled. "Well, I had to read past whatever Ulquiorra or Szayel were saying, but I got the gist of it. Anyway, you really should eat. If Aizen wanted you here, it's either for your power like Ulquiorra said or you're bait."

"Bait?"

"For the one he deems a threat to himself. And if that is indeed the case, which I do not doubt because chances are very high that everyone will come here to rescue you, namely Ichigo, then you need your strength. After all, how can you help them if you're starving yourself and wasting away? Eat and keep your strength."

She rose to her feet and headed towards the door. When her hand was on the handle, Orihime spoke. "Kagome?"

"Hm?" Kagome hummed, turning halfway to look towards the girl.

"Seireitei was told about the Shikon," she informed. "The So-taichou ordered your rescue."

Kagome smiled gently. "If any Shinigami tries to take me away, they're gonna have a handful of Espada to fight through. Thanks for telling me, though. By the way, how were Uryu and Uncle Ryuken after I was brought here?"

"Furious, both of them. Uryu's father took him for training."

"Then I guess neither of us will stay here long." She opened the door and stepped out into the hall. "I'm sorry that you have to stay in here. I would show you around if it wasn't for the fact that both of us would get into trouble."

"It's alright!" Orihime said with a right smile. "I'll be fine."

"Kagome!" someone called from down the hall.

The miko looked and smiled. "One second!" She looked back at Orihime. "I'll try to visit as often as I can. Okay?"

"Okay, thanks!"

"Not a problem!"

With a wave of her hand, Kagome closed the door. She sighed softly then looked to the approaching figure. "It's unfair," she told him. "She doesn't deserve to be locked up. She isn't going to run."

"Not our decision," Grimmjow pointed out. "Ulquiorra told me how he managed to get her here so easily. I know she won't run. But we can't risk letting her out with Aizen always watching."

"Ichigo, Uryu, and whoever else will be coming here to get her, and by the order of the So-taichou, me as well," she told him as he wrapped an arm around her waist and led her away from Orihime's room.

"I waited five hundred years to have you back," he growled. "I'm not letting anyone take you away again."

Kagome smiled softly then gave him a small kiss on his jawline. "I know," she told him then looked around. "Where's Shippo?"

"Lillinette found Wonderweiss and both of them kidnapped him," Grimmjow chuckled in amusement. "He'll be fine."

"Not that I'm complaining, but why always those two?" Kagome giggled as she crossed her arms.

"Lillinette's still a cub, playful, and Wonderweiss is the closest to her age, appearance wise anyway," he shrugged. "Bring Shippo into the mix and you have the three musketeers."

"I'm scared now," the miko joked.

"Fear for your life!" Grimmjow laughed out.

Sorry it's so short, but serious writer's block. My brain has died for all stories so my updates will be slower. I tried to write extra chapters for such cases, but this is as far as I have gotten with this story. Please be patient with me and I hope you'll be pleased with this one.
