I laid on my bed with my feet up against my headboard throwing kunai into the ceiling. I wasn't really focused on any particular shape, it was just a calming action. At least it was calming until Konan burst into my room without even a single knock on the door and stood at the end of my bed with her hands on her hips.

"Talk to me," she ordered "You've been locking yourself up in your room for the past month."

"So what?" I shrugged throwing another kunai upward.

"Typically you're out there teasing the men or playing pranks with Tobi."

"It has grown tiring."

Konan raised a brow then with a sigh she laid on the bed next to me "Are you pregnant or something?"

My cheeks flushed at the idea and bolted up "What on Earth made you come to that conclusion? If I was pregnant I wouldn't be going on missions now would I?"

"Fair point," she smiled getting off my bed "But your face is red and I got a pretty violent reaction when I mentioned it. Is there something, or someone, you're not telling me?"

"Absolutely not!" I tried to stay calm but I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment.

"You sure about that?" she pointed toward the ceiling "Because I think there is."

I looked up noticing that my kunai had formed a heart shape and my actual heart dropped. Konan's smile widened as she gracefully turned on her heals and left my room. I had a bad feeling and followed her out. She made her way to the living area where the Akatsuki normally hang out.

Before I could stop her Konan shouted at the top of her lungs "ANNA IS IN LOVE!"

I really wanted to tackle her for the outburst but the damage was already done, at least she didn't know who I was crushing on. As I entered the living area every eye was on me including his. As I glanced around the room to catch sight of Konan I could see the hope in some of those eyes, hoping it was him that Konan was talking about. I found her by Pein, hiding ever so slightly behind him, just enough that if I were to pounce she could dodge and he would protect.

"Really Konan?" I asked referring to where she stood.

"Better safe than sorry," she winked "Now are you willing to talk to me?"

"Absolutely not."

"Is Anna really in love?" Pein inquired looking down on Konan.

"Yep," she stated proudly "It's stuck to her ceiling."

I saw movement in the corner of my eye, suspecting someone was going to go check it out for themselves when Tobi jumped in front of me "Tobi want to know who Anna loves. Will Anna tell Tobi?"

I inhaled deeply at his close proximity struggling to keep my voice even when I spoke "Why would I tell you?"

"But Tobi want to know," he whined "Tobi loves Anna. So Tobi should know who Anna loves."

I felt my face burn, spinning I returned to my room. For the rest of the day Tobi stood outside my bedroom asking me who I loved. Even the pillow over my head didn't drown out his voice. I left my room only for supper then instead of returning to my room I went out for a walk. I had to get away, it was stuffy in the Akatsuki hideout. The only problem – Tobi followed me.

"Please Anna, tell Tobi who you love," he pleaded.

I snapped, I couldn't take it any more "If I tell you will you stop nagging?"

He nodded eagerly "I want to know."

With a deep breath I stopped walking "I love you Tobi."

I glanced at him but I couldn't read any facial expressions through his mask "And Tobi loves Anna."

"Tobi you don't get it."

He went silent, I didn't even hear his footsteps as I walked away. I don't know why I fell for him, or even thought he'd get it. His child like nature could be really annoying but he was fun to be around. I could feel my eyes tear up, I felt like it was a one sided feeling that would never be reciprocated. I had weaved my way through trees not paying attention to where I was walking until I came across a gentle lake with the stars sparkling on its smooth surface.

"Wow," I gasped "So beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as Anna," Tobi's voice came from behind me making me jump "Will Anna close her eyes for Tobi?"

I frowned but complied with his request. I didn't know what to expect, I didn't even know he was following me. A pair of lips gently brushed mine, I tilted my head up and Tobi kissed me deeply. It was such a sweet moment that I temporarily forgot where I was.

He pulled away "Did Anna enjoy Tobi's gift?"

My eyes fluttered open and I smiled sweetly at him "I guess you do get it."

"Tobi loves Anna," he reached out wrapping his arms around my waist "Tobi will always love Anna."

My heart skipped a beat being in his arms and hearing those words I kissed his mask "One day you'll have to show me what's under here."

"Would Anna love Tobi more?"

I wrapped my arms around his neck "Is that even possible?"
