A/N: Once again, Modern History got so boring that I wrote this. Or, really, typed it. I have no idea where the idea came from, so I hope you all like it. Constructive critisism is welcome, someone pointed out to me mistakes in one of my other stories - Thank you! without pointing them out, I would not have noticed. I still have to go and fix them up....

I didn't know how to summarise it, or even what to call it, so I hope I did an okay job. I am really unsure about this, but I couldn't not post it. I wanted feedback about whether it was good or bad.... Let me know.

"Hey," Callen greeted the female agent, walking over to where she was leaning against the windowsill and stood next to her, watching the female agent silently.

"Hey yourself," she whispered back, sighing quietly.

"Listen, I am sorry about today," Callen told her. She gave him a shy smile in response, turning her head to look at him.

"What about?"

He gave her a confused look. "About sticking you with Nate all day," he said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh..."

"Honestly, you're the only one who can stand him and be with him for long periods of time..." he trailed off. "What's up with you?"

"Nothing," she denied instantly getting a look from Callen that told her he knew otherwise. He nudged her gently.

"Come on Kens, this is me you're talking to. You know you can tell me anything."

"Fine! Callen," she drew his name out, pausing a beat, "The reason I was so irritating all day, apart from being stuck with Nate," she added, gaining a smile from Callen, "is that... I'm pregnant."

"Congratulations!" Callen grinned at her. "I'm really happy for you."

"But I don't know if Sam's going to be happy or not – I don't know how to be a mother."

"Kensi, listen to me. No matter what happens, you know we're all going to be here for you. Sam, Nate, Hetty, Eric, Me... we'll all be by your side, no matter what. And just for the record, nobody knows how to be a mother. Trust me; you're not alone in that."

She nudged him playfully, turning away from the window. "When did you get so smart?"

"I've always been smart, you've just never noticed."
