There wasn't much room in the toy chest. Feet were in mouths, accessories were missing, and darkness surrounded everyone. Buzz comforted Jessie, who didn't deal well with being in storage, but Woody didn't have anyone anymore. He sat alone most of the time whale Bo Peep, being porcelain doll, was still in Molly's shelf, in her room, down the hall, next to a math book.
Woody use to sneak out to talk to her when no one was home, but with mom home all the time due to a leg injury, it was hard for them to even get out of the toy box.
This all began happening a few years ago, when Andy was about 13. He just stated playing with them less and less, and soon he wouldn't even open the toy chest.
It has been almost 5 years now. It was March and next fall Andy would be headed off for college. Maybe Prospector was right, Andy was growing up and there was nothing that Woody could do about it.
