Even before the white stretch limo pulled to a stop outside the Hyuuga mansion, Mikan could feel her pulse beating furiously under her black and red Gakuen Alice uniform. She blinked out the tinted windows as the driver slowed to a stop in front of the stairs leading to the huge double doors. People in uniforms formed a line on the marble staircase, and she realized it was the entire household staff waiting to welcome her – the long lost daughter of the Hyuugas.

Across her, Natsume scowled and made a face. Their mother sat beside him. She could now see the resemblance between her and Annie Hyuuga. The brown eyes, thin lips, and reddish-brown hair that fell in ringlets around her shoulders. But it seemed that Natsume didn't resemble their mother. Well, then. Perhaps he was more like their dad.

The door opened and her brother and mother got out of the car. Taking a deep breath, she followed suit.

Flashback…

Mikan hung upside down from her favorite Sakura tree. The finals had just ended, and everybody was in Central Town hanging out. Well, everybody except her and a few others.

She was enjoying the peace and silence of the Academy now that it was half-empty, and frankly, she didn't want to listen to the plans of her friends for Spring Break. Her ojii-chan had died the past spring, and she had no living relatives to visit now.

Or so she thought…

She dropped to her feet and headed back to her dorm, and noticed a petite brunette heading determinedly toward her.

"Mikan Sakura?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Hello. My name is Annie Hyuuga. I trust the name is familiar to you?"

"Oh! Yes, it is. You must be Natsume-kun's mother."

Annie smiled and led her to the Administration Building.

"That's right. I am his mother. Now, Narumi-sensei would like a word with you."

"ME? I haven't done anything wrong, have I?"

"I don't think so."

KNOCK KNOCK

The door to Narumi's office swung open, and the teacher ushered them in.

"Mikan, Annie! I see you've met each other."

"Sensei, why am I here?"

"Awww. Well, I hate to break it to you this way, Mikan, but I just received some very disturbing news from your mother."

"My mother?"

"Yes. Annie Hyuuga is your mother."

"Which means… Natsume-kun is…"

At that exact moment, said Hyuuga burst into the room followed by Hotaru and Ruka. Narumi sweatdropped and placed a comforting hand on Mikan's shoulder.

"Yes, Mikan. He is your brother."

Turning to Annie, she asked, "Mother… Can you explain?"

"Oh, Mikan. You were separated from us when Reo and the rest of the AAO attacked our house. But not anymore. I am so happy we found you at last."

Natsume's jaw dropped in surprise. "What do you mean… by found?"

"She is your long-lost sister, Natsume-kun. She will be living with us, and both of you will share a dorm when class resumes. Hotaru and Ruka will be new roommates."

"No way! That's, that's --"

"Impossible?" Hotaru continued. " I don't think so."

"Fine!" Natsume yelled as he stromed out the office.

"Hotaru!" Mikan said as she hugged her bestfriend.

BAKA BAKA BAKA

"I told you not to hug me!"

"Hotaru you meanie!"

"Come on now Mikan, time to go home."

Hugging Hotaru and Narumi for the last time, Mikan noticed tears in her sensei's eyes, and she felt nervous and sad.

"Coming mom, bye Hotaru and Sensei!"

Omona. Now that Mikan and Natsume knows that they are siblings, what will they do? REVIEW! xD
