A/N: A little drabble just to let you all know I'm alive.
I don't own Pandora Hearts—pretty clear seeing as this is fanfiction.
Whatever, don't wanna get sued.
Pairing is AlicexOz.
Don't like? Don't read.
Simple enough.

From the beginning, the contractor loved his chain.
He loved how she took control of a situation.
He loved taking a brush and running it through her dark, silky hair.
Everyone said it was black, but oh no. He knew its true color.
Just like he knew her.
From the very first moment they truly met, he was terrified of her.
Men are always terrified of ladies' intentions.
But later, he met the real Alice.
And he decided he liked the real Alice.
He decided he did not want the real Alice to disappear from his life.
So he saved her.
He made a contract with her, a blood-sealed contract, one that would make her blood flow through his veins as long as he was alive.
Alice,
Alice,
Alice.
He loved her name. He loved saying it. He loved the way it rolled off his tongue like sponge cake, his favorite thing in the world.
Except now it was replaced by his Alice.

From the very first moment, the chain loved her contractor.
She loved his soft demeanor.
She loved his inferior expression, and how it could change in an instant.
Only she knew of his inferiority, she, his master, and only to her could he show his pitiful, crying face.
Gorgeous.
So beautiful, his emerald eyes, though she'd never admit it.
She had followed him into the rabbit hole, and out of the endless space called the Abyss.
She gave him the right to utter her true name.
When she crushed those flowers, which had floated by in a vase, she thought of how easily he could be crushed and swore she would never let it happen.
So she let herself get hurt instead.
It was fine—even if she died, she'd just be sent back down to the lowest level.
As long as he didn't get hurt.
Oz,
Oz,
Oz.
Just like a pixie, a fairy, her own little spirit. He was the sweetest combination of meat and cake there could be. She could just bite him and savor his taste.
Except then she would have to deal with the screaming and the blood.

A/N: Wow… um… no comment. That last part was weird. But, in my defense, it's 3 AM.
Review and lemme know what you think please?
