"I just don't think the boy needs any cross training. He's been with us for over two hundred years; he knows what he's doing."
"I don't doubt that," Salem assured, his tail swishing to the ship's swaying, "but in two centuries' time, important lessons can be forgotten. You could probably all benefit from some refresher courses."
Chris started to protest, but Salem cut him off. "What spell do you use to defeat Dementors?"
"Patronon." Chris felt movement and touched his gun as Wolverine's claw touched his back.
Salem's green orbs met Chris' upset gaze. "And you'd be dead."
Chris hung his head in defeat.
