It was just a lazy afternoon with nothing to do. Cedric thought it would be a good idea to go visit a friend. One that only he and she knew of. Well it was more than just a friendship. She really cared about him as he did her. Everyone would not be surprised by the union but her best friends. Not that it really cared to him but they had done a lot of dangerous things together in the last three years.

She was about to enter her third year as he entered his fifth. They had hidden not only their friendship but now their relationship. It really frustrated him a lot.

"Stupid complicated problem," Cedric groaned before plopping down on the hammock in his backyard.

"What problem would that be," a sweet voice asked from the gate connecting the two yards.

"Just thinking Snuggles," Cedric says turning to see his neighbor, his best friend, and his girlfriend standing between the two yards.

"That doesn't answer my question Snuggle Bear," the girl says as her usual dark brown curls have been lighten due to the sun that she had gotten while she was in France this past summer. They had a shine to them in the sun that showed off her natural highlights.

"It's nothing to worry about Hermione, come join me," Cedric says as he pats the spot next to him.

"Hmm, well I have news," Hermione says as she walks over to him and stands in front of him.

"Yeah what is that," Cedric says grabbing her wrists and pulling her into his arms and on to the hammock.

"I told Ron and Harry about us. Well Ron was upset to say the least; he said something along the lines about me going out with the enemy since it was your mission to destroy the Gryffindor Quidditch team or something. Harry on the other hand said that he was not only supportive but that he would deal with Ron, knowing how he can be. He says that you better be present when we all meet up at Diagon Alley like we did last year or else not nice Harry is going to be out," Hermione says as she snuggles into Cedric's chest.

"Give me a date and I will be there because from what you have told me, I'll think I'd like to meet nice Harry," Cedric says as he kisses her forehead and wraps his arms around her.

"Good or else I was going to drag you by your ear all the way with me if I had to," Hermione says as she lays her head on Cedric's chest before giggling at the thought.

"You think that is funny do you," Cedric says as he reaches for her sides and starts wiggling his fingers.

"Cedric, Cedric, stop it, come on," Hermione says between bursts of giggles.

"Cedric Amos Diggory leave the poor girl alone," an older woman calls out from a window on the back of the house.

"But mom she had it coming," Cedric whines.

"Cedric listen to your mother," Amos calls out to his son.

"Great," Cedric mumbles knowing he can't win.

"No mumbling mister it is very impolite," Amos calls.

"Yes sir," Cedric says before returning his attention back to the girl in his arms. "How do you have them wrapped around your finger?"

"It's a gift, just like I have you wrapped around my finger," Hermione says before kissing him.

"And all of your friends as well I am going to guess," Cedric says before kissing her again.

"Almost I have one or two that I still have to work on but basically," Hermione says kissing him again.

"Hmm," Cedric says before going in for the first passionate kiss since the start of the summer.
