Chapter 5

It was the night of the full moon that Harry decided was the time he confronted Joker. For that exact reason was why he was standing in front of the old abandon candy factory, the place he knew to be Joker's hideout.

Not surprising the moment he got in, he was held at gun point by Joker's little minion. Despite this, Harry stayed calm.

''Stop it you fool!'' was the loud command from Joker. He was enraged that his useless followers dare pointing their gun at his godson.

The little minions quickly ran to save themselves. ''Fools,'' Joker mumble to himself, not at all upset at the lost of henchmen. 'Not like they were any good.'

Joker turned his attention to Harry, not quite believing that Harry stood before him on his ground, on his own free will. A silly grin made its way to his scared face.

''Hello Padfoot,'' said Harry, his voice strained, but Joker did not care. 'He called me Padfoot!'

''Hello Bambi,'' replied Joker, feeling a bit giddy. 'Harry called me Padfoot.' The thought keep on repeating in his head.

''I don't know what to do, Padfoot,'' said Harry, tilting his head cutely to the side. Joker, no, Sirius could not help but cooed at the sight. ''Should I obliviate you so you can forget about me?''

When Harry's words finally sank, so did Sirius' heart. Leaping like a snake, he ceased Harry by the arms, shaking him with barely contained fury. ''Why, Harry, why?!'' he bellowed, retreating back to his Joker personality.

''Because Sirius, my Sirius would never treat me like this,'' said Harry calmly, even if he was a bit strained. After going against Voldemort, this was nothing sort of a joke. Albeit a bitter joke.

His words cause Sirius to immediately let go. He stood back a few inches away from him, feeling horribly guilty. ''Bambi...'' he whispered brokenly, tears welling up in his eyes.

Harry had to turn away. He couldn't stand seeing the tears in those haunted grey eyes. Sirius had suffered greatly and here he was, adding more suffering to his godfather.

''A lot had happen since you... died,'' Harry began, gaining Sirius full attention, ''The war happen and Voldemort died. We won but many had died. Remus was among them.''

Sirius cried then, mourning the death of the last of his friend. He felt Harry's warm and caring hands embracing him in a comforting hug as they both mourned for their loss.

''I simply cannot bring you back with me, not with Death Eaters still around wanting to kill me. People will get suspicious and they'll send you back to Azkaban. I can't let that happen, not when I finally see you.''

With gentle hand, Harry wiped away the tears on Joker's face. ''Not when I can finally touch you.''

Sirius cried again, this time in relief, knowing his sweet Bambi finally accepting him. The last remaining of Joker leaving him so all that was left was Sirius. Only Sirius.

Batman felt dread when he found that Harry had left his suite. The feeling increase when he spotted Joker's minions running frantically from what he assume as Joker's new hideout. He quickened his pace.

When he got inside however, he stood frozen in place. Inside was Harry cradling the Joker as he lay motionless on his lap. With gentle hand, he brushed through Joker's unruly hair.

''He's not dead,'' said Harry. It was then that Batman realise Joker chest going up and down with his breathing.

''Harry, what's going on?'' asked Batman, his voice gentle as if not wanting Harry to suddenly disappear.

He smiled. ''I finally got my godfather back,'' said Harry, hugging the man closer to him. ''My Sirius.''

'So Sirius was the Joker's real name,' thought Batman inwardly, momentarily forgetting that Harry can read his mind. ''Yes, Sirius is his name,'' said Harry, reminding Batman of his gift.

''You have to realise that Joker is a criminal that deserved to be sent to prison,'' said Batman, knowing that even his mind was not safe from this boy was rather disturbing.

Harry let out a chuckle. ''I know,'' he said, ''that's why I killed him.''

''What?'' Batman mind whirl for a logical explanation. How could he have killed Joker when he's right here?

Harry turned to look up at Batman. ''My godfather had suffered greatly, Batman. Insanity drove him into creating Joker as a way of self survival. By erasing that part of him, I not only killed Joker, but manage to bring back my godfather.''

''I... see,'' Batman said slowly, not knowing whether or not he should believe the boy. Before he could say anything else though, a dozen of black clocked figures with bone white mask covering their faces appeared with loud cracks. All of them pointed not gun but stick at Harry.

Harry eyes narrowed dangerously, reminding Batman that this kid was not at all a kid that he once thought. With a loud shout of 'experliamus', all of the sticks flew to his outstretched right hand. Just as that moment, red clocked people appeared with the loud crack and began apprehending that black clocked figures.

''Lord Potter, we apologies for the delay,'' one of the red clocked figure spoke, bowing respectfully to Harry.

''It does not surprise me,'' said Harry, tossing the sticks towards the one on his left. ''After all, Aurors are known for their lateness.'' Every red clocked figured flinched hearing his claim.

''Leave,'' commanded Harry firmly. Every one of the red clocked figure bowed deeply to Harry and disappear with each of them holding a captive. Harry let out a sigh as they left, yet again with that loud crack.

''You shouldn't have seen that,'' said Harry, turning to look at Batman. Batman had been silent the whole time, taking in everything with sharp precision. No matter how hard his mind tried to come up with a valid explanation, nothing seems to fit.
