Note: if you have not read all of the manga, do not read this.

Um, hi. This is actually my first time writing a -man fic. Just kinda testing it out. I don't know how good it is, but I thought I could post it on here. This happens around, I think it was ch. 167 or 168. The one where Cross tells Allen he's basically the 14th. So yeah. Enjoy, I guess.

Disclaimer: I don't own -man.

Hug

Allen's eyes widened as his Master did the most unexpected thing:

He hugged him.

He had only done that once before. And that was after the night he killed Mana.

You still smell like alcohol. And cigarettes. Stop screwing around with my mind. I hate it when you do that. Decide whether you're using me or you actually like me. Stop flip-flopping, the Apprentice conveyed silently to his Master.

And the Master thought back, you smell like soap. What happened to the filthy kid I knew? Damn, you were disgusting back then. And wimpy, are you still like that? Hell, probably not, if I remember when you and that Kanda kid were going at it. Gay? Nah, the beautiful Lenalee likes you too much. And I'll do whatever the hell I want! You don't need to understand it.

Stupid Master.

Idiot Apprentice.

"What would you do, if I told you, you would have to kill someone you love when you become the 14th?" Cross said aloud.

Allen's mind froze.

You're always doing stuff like this. Testing me. Throwing stuff like that at me. I don't want to take that anymore.

Cross got up and left.

I'm not going to take that anymore. And I'm not going to accept your goddamn words.

Cross knew that. He never thought he would.
