Aaron warned him, repeatedly, to stay away from the man. Spencer had simply thought it was his lover acting possessive again and continued on.

He knew there was something slightly off about the charming college professor, knew that maybe he should have listened and done as he was told. For once though, he wanted to prove to people that he knew what he was doing, that he could tell when something was wrong.

Staring up at the crazed eyes looming uncomfortably close, Spencer wished that he had seen the split personality before he was captured and chained onto a cold, hard floor.

"So beautiful," the alter ego's deeper, masculine purred. Spencer shuddered as a gloved hand caressed his face mockingly similar to a lover. "So intelligent. And mine!"

The professor crashed his lips roughly onto Spencer's, earning a pained whimper in the process. A tongue thrust demandingly into his mouth, touching places that it had no business touching. Spencer bit down forcefully, watching in satisfaction as the man pulled back cursing up a storm. The feeling was quickly replaced with fear as the professor glared hatefully down at him.

"You little bitch," he hissed, reaching behind him to grab a knife. "I'll teach you how to behave!"

Closing his eyes, Spencer wished that he had listened more and he wished he could see Aaron one more time before he died.

Pain blossomed in his temple and he surrendered to unconsciousness.

The beeping of a monitor was the first thing he heard coming to awareness. The air was stale and the surface he was lying on was highly uncomfortable. He must be in a hospital.

Opening his eyes he groggily wondered how he got here. Assuming he wasn't dead of course, which would suck because Spencer had highly hoped that when he died he would be sent to somewhere with at least one book.

Something warm grabbed his hand and Spencer turned to see Aaron Hotchner staring intently at him.

"Better than a book I guess…" Spencer murmured, gaining a confused look. Aaron leant down to place a kiss on his forehead, trailing down until he reached Spencer's lips. The kiss deepened to something passionate, making Spencer sigh in bliss.

Breaking the kiss, Aaron smirked slightly at the other's protest before frowning. "Do you have any idea what you put me through? The team?"

Spencer shook his head slightly.

"If we hadn't come in when we did, you would have ended up like his other victim's. He was almost in you Spencer!" Aaron's voice lowered significantly to a dangerous growl and Spencer shivered in a multitude of emotions.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, looking down in shame. He should have listened to everyone, he should have never gone against what his experienced team had told him.

Aaron sighed, bringing a hand up to tilt Spencer's face to look at him. "As you should be, but not for the reasons you think. However, the team expects a full apology and Garcia intends on locking you in a room to save you from the trouble you will surely get into in the future."

Biting his lip, Spencer squeezed Aaron's hand gently. "I love you," he said softly, the memory of the professor whispering it to him as he tied him up firmly in his mind.

"I love you," Aaron said as quietly, reaching down to kiss Spencer once again.
