There are some times Roxas doesn't miss his old gang:

Roxas meets Naminé and for one brief moment he is happy; more importantly, he can feel. He feels like he is finally safe, and at home. For the first time since he can remember, he feels at peace.

He joins back up with Axel and Organization XIII and they all accept him back like nothing happened, like he never left. He is back where he belongs, among people who are just like him: not really people but not really nothing.

Roxas joins back with Sora. As he fades into his other, he feels what he felt when he first met Naminé, except this time, the feeling stays.

There are some times Roxas does miss his old gang:

He feels the way Sora looks at Kairi (and sees how Riku looks at Selphie) and realizes that's how Hayner used to look at Olette, and how Pence used to look at Fuu.

Hayner wins the Struggle tournament, Olette becomes class president, and Pence gets one of his pictures in the newspaper, all in the same year.

The gang graduates. He wasn't there for it, but he sees a picture they sent Sora and the others. They're all standing there in their gowns, at their Usual Spot, arms around each other smiling so big that they can't keep their eyes open. And Roxas can't help but notice how perfectly he would have fit on the right side, just beside Hayner.
