Years later, when both Harry and Hermione were eleven years old, Professor McGonagall stood up at the end of Transfiguration and made an announcement.
"The grammar in the essays handed in," she said, rifling through them, "is atrocious. Therefore, tomorrow we will have a short lesson on things such as punctuations and parts of speech, such as similes and metaphors."
Hermione and Harry both smiled, but they never knew why.
