All I Wanted
Glinda's POV
I own nothing in this story. NOTHING! I wish I owned Wicked though. I really do.
I flopped on the second bed in my room, in the Emerald City—I'd designed the room to resemble the room at Shiz, so I'd remember my friend—no, my love—doomed never to know, but it just caused me more pain, and I couldn't bring myself to remove the second bed. I sighed and whispered, "I hope you're remembering me once in a while, Elphie."
Think of me when you're out, when you're out there. I'll beg you nice from my knees. And when the world treats you way too fairly. Well, it's a shame I'm a dream.
I sighed and muttered, "I miss you Elphie."
All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you.
I mumbled to myself and started pacing around the room, wondering where my best friend was and what she was doing.
I think I'll pace my apartment a few times and fall asleep on the couch and wake up early to black and white reruns that escape from the mouth, oh, oh.
I mumbled to myself, "I'd only wanted Elphaba. Not all of this."
All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you.
I closed my eyes and then jerked into a sitting position. Maybe there was a spell that would allow me to go back in time and get on that broom.
I could follow you to the beginning just to relive the start. And maybe then you'll remember to slow down at all of our favorite parts.
I was wrong—Elphie was gone forever—and I had lost her.
All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you. All I wanted was you.
The End
