As usual, the character's aren't mine. I'm just borrowing them.

"Hey, shut up, I'm trying to line a shot up here," Jane bent over the desk and closed one eye as she took aim to flick the paper football through the goal posts Frost was making with his fingers.

"If you miss, Rizzoli, you owe me lunch," Korsak hovered over her right shoulder. "Hurry up and miss. I could use a steak for lunch today."

"Korsak, if you don't shut up while I make this shot, I'm going to call interference." Jane squatted beside the desk. She took precious careful aim, pulled back her finger for the flick, started to hit the piece of paper…

"What are all of you doing?" Maura stepped into the room.

Jane's shot went wide and hit the desk across the aisle. "Damn it, Maura. You just cost me lunch."

"Language, Jane." She handed the detective a file. "What were you doing just now?"

"Playing paper football." Frost grabbed the football off the desk.

"It looks dangerous. You could seriously injure your ocular organ." Maura frowned at the detectives.

"Huh?" Korsak grabbed the paperwork from Jane.

"You could put your eye out." Maura sighed. "Jane, I thought we were going to lunch today?"

"Well, we would have if you hadn't messed up my shot. Now, I've got to take Korsak to lunch." Jane pointed her thumb toward the senior detective. "Nice going, Maura."

"How was I to know you were illegally betting on a game you shouldn't have been playing?" Maura rolled her eyes. "Really, Jane?"

"Hey," Jane pointed a finger at the ME, "I don't want to hear it."

"But, we had plans to go to that new sushi restaurant," Maura gave a little pout.

"Oh man," Jane turned to find Korsak, "Yeah, I did say I'd go today. Can we do this tomorrow?"

"I don't know, you might forget." Korsak narrowed his eyes at the two women, "Or, this could be a conspiracy to keep you from paying up, Rizzoli. Dr. Isles could just come in here every day, say you promised to go somewhere with her, and give a little pout when you say no."

"We all know you'll do anything if Dr. Isles pouts like that." Frost nodded toward the still pouting doctor.

"Excuse me, I am still sitting here, and, furthermore, I do not pout." Maura crossed her arms.

"You heard her, she doesn't…wait… what?" Jane looked from one detective to the other. "Did you just say I'd do anything for Maura if she pouts?"

"If she pouts like that," Korsak explained by way of chuckling out the answer.

"I don't really need your flack, Korsak." Jane's jaw was starting to twitch.

"We're just calling them as we see them, Jane." Frost bit his lip.

"Okay, you know what? Fine… whatever," Jane stood up in a rush, grabbed her coat, her gun, and her cell phone. "I don't have to take this." Pulling her coat on, she started walking toward the door. "Come on, Maura, we're leaving. And," she turned to face Korsak, "You can forget about that lunch, buddy. I'm keeping it as way of payment for harassment."

Jane stormed toward the elevators. Maura calmly stood up, gave a brief nod to the two men, and hurried to catch up.

"Well, that didn't take long. Jane can normally last at least a good ten minutes before she freaks out over being teased about the doctor." Frost shook his head.

Korsak shrugged. "I'm thinking Jane may finally be coming to the end of her fuse on that one. Did you see how she looked at Dr. Isles today?"

"Yeah, how long do you give them?"

"I don't know. Two weeks? Why? What do you think?"

"I say Jane can hold out for another month."

"That long? You want to bet on it?" Korsak chuckled.

"Yeah, you're on. Drinks at the Robber all night for whoever gets closest."

"Deal," Korsak gave a full out laugh, "You're going to lose, Frost. Jane's never been known to be too good at resisting temptation for long. I can't wait for my pitchers of beer."
