Break had given up trying to get drunk for the night, and had carried Sharron off to bed and unkindly dragged an angry drunk Gil after him, ignoring his drunken protests. That only left a really drunk Alice and a semi-drunk Oz in the room.

"Hey, Oz? You know wha' I tink?" Alice said, slurring her words as she sat down next to Oz on the couch, throwing her feet up onto the coffee table and leaning on Oz's shoulder.

"No, Alice, what do you think?" Oz asked, a small smile on his face and a drunken blush on his cheeks.

"Ya know that time in the Abyss, when we kissed to seal the contract?" She said, turning herself around on her knees to face Oz, and Oz, turned his body slightly to face her more.

"Yeah, what about it?" Oz asked, watching as Alice moved closer to him.

"Let's do that again." "What? Why?" Oz asked, bewildered at the Alice who was still moving closer to him.

"Cuz' I want to, baka." She said, placing her hands on either side of him on the couch.

(Authors Note: In this case, 'baka' means 'fool' or 'idiot')

Oz pressed himself back against the couch, watching in surprise as Alice's face got closer and closer. He lifted his hand and placed it on her shoulder, holding her back away from him.

"Alice, your drunk! You don't know what you're doing." Oz said, holding her back.

"Ya, I do. An' I wanna kiss you." She said, putting her full weight against Oz. Oz placed down his drink and placed his other hand on her other shoulder, still easily holding her back. Oz stood and gently grabbed her arms, turning and placing them around his neck, than picked her up piggy-back style. Alice complied without protest as he carried her to the room next to his and Gil's, and gently closed the door behind them. He let Alice off on her bed, and turned back toward her.

"Good night, Alice." Oz said, turning to go when Alice grabbed his wrist.

"No." Alice said, her bangs hiding her face "Don't leave me alone."

Oz looked at Alice a little surprised, then smiled gently and sat down on the bed next to her. They lied down facing the other, their positions mirroring each other with one arm under the head and knees slightly bent.

"Don't worry, I'm right here." Oz said softly, smiling gently at Alice. Alice closed her eyes and murmured sleepily, "Thank you."

Both closed their eyes and almost unconsciously shifted closer to each other. Alice rolled over and shifted back, gently in her sleep pressing up against Oz. Oz, still fully awake, gently put his arm around the sleeping Alice, softly holding her against him. Alice rolled over in her sleep, their foreheads touching. Oz leaned in and ever so gently placed his lips on hers. When he pulled away, Alice sighed in her sleep and snuggled closer to him, and Oz hugged the sleeping Alice to him, and gave in to blissful sleep.

(The next morning)

"Oz, time to-" Gil stopped in the open door to see no Oz in his bed. Gil shut the door and walked over to Alice's room and slowly opened the door a crack. His face paled, and he closed the door, and then sat down hard against the wall.

Break walked by and stopped and he said, "What's got you down, Gil?"

Gil could only point to Alice's door and break went to investigate, opening the door a crack, peeking inside, and shutting it again. Break laughed softly into his hand and said, "Well, well. Seems like something happened between those two last night."

Break and Gil sat down at the kitchen table, and out came Alice and Oz a few minutes later. "Seems like you two had a busy night." Said break, leaning his head on his hands.

Alice and Oz exchanged a look, and then Oz looked at them and smiled, "You'll never know."

Gil went white and dropped his head onto the table, and Break raised his eyebrows in surprise. Sharron just looked around in confusion, and Alice and Oz laughed evilly.
