Never Letting Go
It kind of sucks, Sam sometimes thinks when he sees all the couples making out in the hallway, unaware of the fact that everyone can see them, being so close to a beautiful girl and not being able to do anything about it.
Quinn is really perfect despite all her insecurities and fears, she captivates him. He likes to whisper soft words to her when they're alone, talking in the Avatar language that she hasn't quite grasped yet. It amuses him to see her frustration, and how she tries to make him tell her what he's saying. When she tearfully reveals to him that she hates her thighs, he just holds her tight and tells her that he loves them, that they are his favourite part of her. Everything about her deserves to be captured in a painting, from her perfect eyes to the way her skirt swishes around her thighs, tempting him with what lies underneath but then swishing back to its normal position and covering the temptation from his view.
She's completely unaware of her utter perfection, and it drives him crazy when she says that she's ugly. Sometimes he wishes that she would wear modest dresses, like Rachel, or covering clothes like Tina's. Even Mercedes' clothing would suffice, just something to cover up her beauty so he doesn't want to rip her clothes off in the hallways. His instincts kept telling him to just rush their relationship, but he knows that if he does that it'll be shot to hell.
But he's learnt his lesson from trying to kiss her. Quinn wants to take it slow and not rush anything, and he's totally fine with that. Well, not exactly 'fine', but he'll deal. He's not going to let such a beautiful girl go just because his baser instincts want to take over.
He's never really had a serious girlfriend before, just casual hook-ups when his school had annual discos and such with the nearby all-girls school. Some of those girls were crazy from being locked up all year without a sight of a male, and literally tore his clothing off at the sight of him. It was kind of scary, but at the same time crazily hot.
Plus, Quinn was in a serious relationship with Finn for most of last year, and that really didn't end well, and was in a semi-serious relationship with Puck for a few months, and that ended even worse. He doesn't want their new relationship to go the same way as her previous two, he doesn't just want to be another guy. He's Sam, shy Sam who can quote any movie off the top of his head, silly Sam who likes nothing better than to tickle her until she can't breathe, semi-smart Sam who's kind of failing at maths, and Sam, her boyfriend who loves her dearly. Quinn's too precious to let go.
So he'll just have to learn to be happy taking it slow, despite everything. In time, everything will work out, but for now he's happy just to see her smile at him and grip his hand tight.
And no matter what, he's never ever letting her go.
Never.
Reviews would be nice, mmmmmkay?
