My first attempt at Good Omens fanfiction! It's a little drabble, kind of, gen-ish, not really slash (I'm too afraid to write that yet). Please review once you're done reading! I would like to know if I got the characters right!

Disclaimer: I do not own Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens, sadly. They belong to Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

Capacity For Evil

"…and then I told him 'never mind because if He's not there then I do not need any assistance.' I tried to cut off but he threatened me if I blaspheme Him one more time, then I'll Fall." Aziraphale frowned at his companion. "I'm pretty sure I didn't blaspheme Him."

Crowley threw more pieces of bread into the pond, suppressing a sigh. It looked as if the Metatron was bullying Aziraphale again. The Metatron knew fully well that Aziraphale constantly worried about Falling ever since he got closer to Crowley since Armageddon't. And the bastard used it fully to his advantage.

Stupid caricature of an angel.

"Relax, he's just getting to you as always. Besides, you're the farthest from Falling." Besides, the thought of Aziraphale as a demon was hysterically impossible.

"But maybe I haven't been able to talk to Him because I'm close to Falling."

"Nonsense, that's just business and corporation and scheduling appointments and all that."

"Yes, it's probably that." But his tone suggested that he didn't entirely believe him.

Crowley looked at him for a while before saying, "Want to see if you are close to Falling?" He jerked his head at the pond. "Dunk a drake."

Aziraphale snorted. "Oh yes, that's really evil. Supremely."

"Come on, just do it. Or are you too good for that?"

Aziraphale stared at him sternly back. Then, without looking at the pond, a drake plunged to the shallow depths below.

Crowley neared the pond, taking off his sunglasses to see under the surface. He let out a burst of laughter when he saw a submarine, decorated with a cartoon duck*.

"See?" he said. "You're the farthest from Falling."

"So I'm still an angel. And you're still a demon. Does that mean you're more demonic than ever?"

Crowley looked back at him and subsequently another drake fell deep into the water. Aziraphale could see it struggling.

"That answers your question?" the demon asked, grabbing his coat in order to leave.

Unbeknownst to Aziraphale, the drake miraculously acquired gills and was now swimming underwater quite merrily.

*The submarine had a nice heating system, plush blankets, lots of bread, and hot cocoa though the drake couldn't drink it.
