What if...

I don't know what kind of hot this is but it feels like the sun and I are face to face. I got to get use to this Texas heat.

"What the matter Adriana?"

My eyes landed on my only friend here in the heat hell hole, Rebbecca Micheals. "What kind of heat do you guys have here?"

Rebbecca laughs. "Oh it's not that bad."

I turn to her. "Not that bad? Okay Rebbecca." I had laugh. I'm going to miss California, I grew up and had a family there. I know where everything is, I'm going to miss taking the boys to Pinkberry, taking them to the Malibu beach and so many other things the westcost could provide me. "I'm just feeling a little home sick that's all."

"It's okay. Shawn and I are here, were going to make Texas feel home for you just as much as Los Angeles did."

I made a fake pout. "Thanks friend." Rebbecca and I been friends but I think were going to bond more due to the fact that Sasha and I are still not on talking terms. "Shit, its time to get Alana up from her nap so let me get her up."

"Where's Mark?" Rebbecca questions.

"I don't know."

The pretty blond raise a brow. " So you did not move here to be with him?"

"No, before Alana was born, even before Rod and I marriage fell off the the map we've been looking at homes and schools in Austin Lakes for years. Mark's her father, Rodney moved here with Christy and my mother and father moved here too. I couldn't keep my kids away from their fathers...so I follow suit." I carefully scope up my sleeping infant. "I'm only staying here until I find a place in Austin for me and my kids."

"I have a strange feeling that it will not work out that way?" Rebbecca smirks.

I gave Rebbecca a look as I set up to breast feed Alana. "Oh yeah...why is-"

"You two are in love with each other."

"Wait...wait one damn minute. You mean to tell me that she's staying with you? When where you going to tell me this, HELL when where you going to even say 'Yo Glen, that baby is mines-'

Mark slams the book down on the desk. "I don't know, I mean I really don't ...sorry if I didn't have time to gossip to you Glen-"

"Mark..."

Mark looks at his friend. "Her and Rodney are going through a divorce and she's staying with me and the boys are going back and fourth with is bullshit- I feel like I broke up their marriage-"

Glen sighs. "No you didn't at least I do not think you did."

"I'm helping her find a home for her and the kids but the way I see her take care of Alana its...its like."

"You wish you actually went to Mexico and propose to her like the original plan but you chose to take the douce bag route."

Mark glares at Glen. "Why thank you for the summary of my fuck up choices Glen."

"Your welcome." Glen then sighs heavily and sits next to his best friend. "So have you told Natasha all this yet?"

Okay I didn't want to do this but whatever it's been on my mind for a while and I was reading the reviews for Leather and Lace and yeah...I don't think I'm done yet. But Also I am not sure when and if a story get's out there yet. School comes first...so...let me know what you guys think.
