This is a side project I'm doing besides "Let's Go Crazy". For this story, its short and I am really interested in the relationship between Liberty and J.T. So I want to create a short story about dreams, love, the hereafter and all that good stuff. Enjoy! Please R&R! Thanks! I don't own anything.

Liberty and J.T are in the Hawaiian beach for their five year anniversary as husband and wife. They were happy and full of bliss. They were hand and hand in the sand laughing and carrying on by the sunset. J.T tripped and fell on the sand along with Liberty but they kept laughing. She crept on top of him. "J.T Yorke, do you really love me?" she asked. J.T looked up in the sky and back at his wife. "Liberty Van Zandt Yorke, I...

Liberty woke up in her dorm room in tears with Manny Santos beside her. Manny and Liberty have been close friends ever since their Degrassi days. "Libs, are you okay?" Manny asked. "Yeah, its just another dream about...him." her voice broke. "Every dream you have is about J.T and they all end in cliffhangers. You have been getting even more depressed for the past few years. What is it really about?" Manny asked her troubled friend.

"I have always wondered if he had ever loved me or not. I want to know Manny. That very day, did he love me.?" Liberty tried to hold back her tears. Manny hugged her. "I'm sure you he loved you then and I bet he loves you now. The answer will come to you when you least expect it." she reassured her.

J.T saw and heard everything. "Thank you Manny." he said from the hereafter. "God knows that I love Liberty then and now but she didn't get the chance to know for real. She won't go on until she is truly sure that I actually loved her. I love her enough to urge to move on with her life. I know what I have to do!" he declared to himself.

Later on that night, Liberty finally went back to sleep. She has another dream but this time J.T.'s spirit makes his last stand in Liberty's dream.

Liberty was standing at the beach near the water watching the sunset. J.T came behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Love me" she whispered. "Liberty..." J.T whispered in her ear. Liberty started to shed a tear. "J.T Yorke...do you love me?" she asked with apprehension. J.T took a deep breath. "Liberty Van Zandt ...I will always love you. Either here on this Earth or down in my grave, my love for you will never die. But I'm gone, but you...you're still here. Please live your life. You can't stop living because of me. If you love me then let me go. Let me go so you can move on with your life. This isn't good bye, this is...I will see you again someday." J.T unwrapped his arms and phased through Liberty. She was crying. He walked on the water then looked back at Liberty for one last time. "I love you, Liberty." he said. " I love you too" she replied. J.T walked into the sunset. Relief. Liberty fell back on the sand an watch the sunset.

Liberty slept peacefully for the rest of the night. The next morning, she woke up refreshed and realized that a new day was dawning. Liberty realized that Manny and Emma Nelson on her side. "Hey" they both said in unison. Liberty grew a smile on her face. "How are you felling, girl?" Emma began. "You know, for once in a long time, I'm okay." Liberty said looking up.

J.T smiled down on Liberty. In the hereafter, J.T has a connection with Earth and be able to oversee everything. He looked up. "Thank you" he flew away into the clouds with joy and relief.
