Epilogue

Lots of people had shown up. Quite frankly, Kenji was amazed. Saobi had shown up, and he was waving at Kenji from across the aisle. It had been a couple of years since Kenji could see him (Saobi had written him plenty of letters), and he was excited to catch up with him.

"Onii-san, who's that?" Jin asked.

"An old friend," Kenji replied, and he smiled at his little sister. "It's been six years since I've met him."

Jin's grin was really wide, and she waved frantically at Saobi as well. "I want to meet him too!"

Kenji ruffled her hair. "After."

The music started, and Ino squealed at the first sight of Sakura. She was beaming with happiness, and her arm was linked in her father's. Naruto cheered with Hinata by his side, their rambunctious child excited and flailing in her father's arms.

Sasuke stood at the end of the aisle, in awe of Sakura. She was shrouded in white, and she had never looked more beautiful.

Sakura's father marched her down the aisle, and tears started welling up in her eyes. Sasuke could not hold back the emotion from his face, and Kenji saw his father smile bigger than he had ever seen.

Jin clapped her hands, and she yelled, "Daddy!" Sasuke waved at her and directed his smile at Kenji.

Sakura's father kissed his daughter's hands. "I love you, dear."

"I love you too, Dad," Sakura whispered. He took a seat next to his wife, and Sakura stood across from Sasuke, love in her eyes.

Even though the priest was speaking to the both of them, they were hardly paying attention to him. Their eyes were fixed on each other, and as they slipped on the rings, Sakura's tears streamed freely down her face.

"Why's mommy crying?"

"Because she's happy," Kenji said. "Because she's happy," he repeated again, barely a whisper.

"Daddy looks happy, too."

Kenji exhaled heavily. "Sasuke is happy." He better be.

At this point, the priest had gone silent to allow both Sakura and Sasuke to say their vows. Sakura started. "Sasuke," she began. "We have come a long way. It's taken a while to get to this point, but I'm so happy we've made it this far. You've changed so much for both me and our children. I love you, and I'll love you forever."

Now it was Sasuke's turn. "Sakura," he murmured. "I love you. I love our children. Without any complaint, I'll submit to you."

Sakura smiled and bit her lip, holding back the urge to kiss him.

The priest smiled politely at both of them. "You are now husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

And when they kissed, Sakura knew that this would last forever.
